Bonnie replied: "I'll be back. Hence why I literally jump on a plane and I'm back all the time. "But for right now it's just a bit of an adventure. Do it when I can, why not?" Those things help so much." Lottie added: "Big events are s***." Bonnie replied: "Yeah that is. At the end of the day, obviously the big events that you miss are going to be hard. "But then I come back and we have great craic." 4 Bonnie has said she "loves" living in New York Credit: .instagram/@bonnieryan

RTE's Lottie Ryan pays tribute to Joe Duffy as she eyes her own talk radio show
RTE star Lottie Ryan has said she would love to land her own talk radio show like her dad – as she pays tribute to family friend Joe Duffy. The Liveline host is set to retire from RTE on Friday June 27 after 37 years working at the national broadcaster. Paying tribute to Joe, Lottie said: 'We've known Joe and June and their family for a long, long time. They're good family friends, and they are genuinely the nicest people you will ever come across. Joe is what you hear. He is genuinely that person that just wants to talk to and help everyone.' Her sister Bonnie said: 'And I think he's probably earned at this point to retire. The sad thing is, if we can't talk to Joe, who are we going to talk to?" 'Talk to Lottie,' Bonnie said jokingly. When asked if Lottie would love to throw her name in the hat to take over Liveline, she said: 'That's not my side of the building. Definitely not. That's not my side of the building. I just want to make good radio and obviously I see myself being a talk broadcaster." Bonnie added: 'She'd smash it.' Lottie added: 'Liveline…Ryan Line.. it has a little ring to it.' Lottie said she reckons it was a very difficult decision for Joe to announce his retirement. 'I'd imagine that was very because it's very difficult for him. I mean, you saw the video, it's heartbreaking.' But despite being close pals with the Duffy family, she said she wasn't given a heads up that his retirement announcement was imminent. 'No, so I think it was just between him and his family,' she added. RTE have said they will reveal Liveline's next host in August. But we revealed in the Sunday Mirror that Kathryn Thomas is backing Daithi O Se for the gig. She told us: 'I think Daithi would be fit for the job. It's about connecting with the audience. You have to be one with the people, which Joe always was, which Daithi is and I always try to be. We're all in it together.' 'No one will ever fill Joe Duffy's shoes. Joe was one of a kind. And when I say one of a kind, he's one of the kindest people I know. 'One of the first cards that I got when I got to my desk at Q102, was from Joe Duffy, and then texts a couple weeks later, saying 'You're sounding really great'.' 'He will be sadly missed and whoever has the opportunity to go in there and continue the work and put their own stamp on it is extremely important.'

Lottie Tomlinson teary-eyed as she reflects on family loss in emotional video
Louis Tomlinson's sister Lottie Tomlinson is a guest on the next episode of Giovanna Fletcher's Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast and she's set to discuss loss within her family Makeup artist Lottie Tomlinson emotionally opened up about loss in her family in a podcast teaser this week. She's set to discuss experiencing grief, including over the death of her mother Johannah Deakin, in the upcoming episode. Lottie, 26, and her six siblings, who include One Direction 's Louis Tomlinson, 33, lost their mother Johannah, who was aged 43, in 2016 following a leukaemia diagnosis. Less than three years later they experienced another bereavement as Lottie's sister Félicité Tomlinson died aged 18 in 2019. Over the years, the family have spoken about their loss. It's now been revealed that Lottie opens up about navigating grief on the next episode of the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast. She spoke to host Giovanna Fletcher, 40, recently for the episode, which is due to be released on Tuesday. Ahead of its release, a teaser clip shared on Instagram this evening shows Lottie emotionally talking about her family. She shares at one point on the podcast: "It's not been easy but we've just stuck together as a family." She adds in the clip released today: "We're getting there. We're rebuilding." Seemingly speaking about her late mother, she says: "It's just sad that she's not here with us." It's then referenced that Lottie moved back home following Johannah's death, with it previously revealed that she took on a parental role for her younger siblings Félicité, twins Phoebe and Daisy, then 12, and twins Doris and Ernie, who were two. Giovanna said: "You moved back for a bit to be there for the little ones." Lottie is then heard telling the podcast host: "Because they were two." She went on to mention that when her mother died her youngest siblings Doris and Ernie were the same age as her own son Lucky, two, is now. Lottie said: "That's what hurts the most when I speak about it it's because Lucky's two now." Teary-eyed, she added: "Losing a mum at that age is just so so sad and traumatising for them, y'know." Later in the teaser clip, Lottie is heard discussing having become a parent at a similar time to some of her siblings. The makeup artist shares her son Lucky and four-month-old daughter Flossie with her fiancé Lewis Burton, 33. Giovanna said: "And with your siblings as well, it's that thing of, not only have your got your own family now, but seeing that that family growing and expanding." Lottie responded: "Louis's got a little boy. I've got Lucky and Flossie, and [Phoebe] has got Olive. It's just the best. It's like we're recreating y'know what we grew up with with all the kids and it's so nice to be able to do it together." The teaser for the podcast episode comes after Lottie spoke about dealing with her grief in an interview with the Mirror recently. Sharing her thoughts with us, she said: "I feel like being with my family is just the best therapy for me." Lottie added in the interview, published earlier this week: "That's all I've ever wanted and now that I've finally got that, it brings me so much comfort and it makes me feel closer to the people I've lost. It's been like a healing thing for me." The next episode of Happy Mum, Happy Baby featuring Lottie as a guest is set to be released on podcast platforms on Tuesday. One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson's sister Lottie has broken her silence on her brother's new relationship with Zara McDermott, and reveals that the presenter has already been put to work Zara McDermott has been thrown into new boyfriend Louis Tomlinson's family life as the singer's sister admits she's already putting the couple to work on babysitting duties. While launching her latest beauty venture, Adored by... Lottie Tomlinson, 26, shared a glimpse into how the former Love Island star is already being welcomed into the Tomlinson family fold and opened up about her brother Louis Tomlinson's blossoming romance. Zara, who rose to fame on reality TV before building a strong presence as a presenter and influencer, has recently gone public with her relationship with Louis Tomlinson, 33, the former One Direction singer. Rumours started about a potential romance between the pair in March, when eagle eyed fans noted that they followed each other on social media and Louis' sisters Lottie, Daisy and Phoebe all followed the documentary maker and Strictly star on Instagram. She also follows them all back. The pair have been quietly dating for a few months, and according to Lottie, they're 'really happy' together. Now, it is reported that Zara has flown off for a romantic getaway with her new beau. Insiders revealed that One Direction star Louis splashed out thousands of pounds to fly Zara 5,000 miles to join him while he's working on his upcoming album. Speaking at the launch event for her beauty line, Lottie confirmed exclusively to us, that she's met Zara and has only good things to say about her. 'Yeah, she is amazing and they are really happy. I'm really happy for him,' she said, clearly pleased to see her brother in a good place romantically. The couple's new status hasn't stopped them from being roped into family life already. With Lottie being a mum to two-year-old son Lucky and five month old baby girl Flossie, she joked that Louis and Zara might soon find themselves on babysitting duty. 'Hopefully, yeah,' she laughed when asked if the pair would be helping out. Lottie has always been close to Louis, especially following the loss of their mother and younger sister in recent years. She's spoken publicly about the importance of family and support, and it seems that Zara is fitting in well with the Tomlinson clan. Lottie, who recently became a mum also opened up on balancing working and motherhood. After welcoming her baby girl in January, Lottie admits some weeks can leave her 'exhausted'. 'I think it's like an up and down thing for me anyway. There'll be certain weeks where I feel like I'm juggling really well and I'm like, right, I'm doing it. I'm smashing it then there'll be certain weeks where I just have not got the balance right and I'm exhausted.' 'Like this week's work is heavy so I just need to, you know, take a few things back, push to next week and spend more time with the kids. I really just take it week by week, but it is really hard to find a balance, but my kids are my focus and they will always come first.' It hasn't been easy for Lottie after losing her mum, Johannah Deakin at the age of 43 in 2016 after a battle with leukaemia, followed just over two years later by the death of her sister, Felicité, 18 and the mum and influencer has opened up on how she is continuing to deal with the grief. 'I feel like being with my family is just the best therapy for me,' she says. 'That's all I've ever wanted and now that I've finally got that, it brings me so much comfort and it makes me feel closer to the people I've lost. It's been like a healing thing for me.'
