Yet, Sam is noticeably absent from the comments section of her Instagram posts. Their relationship kicked off shortly after Samie returned from South Africa, where she participated in Love Island: All Stars. Unfortunately, she failed to find a match during the show, despite trying to form a bond with Luca Bish. The bombshell breakup has emerged merely weeks after Samie first opened up about her burgeoning romance with Sam. The 25 year old remained rather guarded while discussing the budding relationship on the 'Chloe Mediumship' podcast. Reflecting on her prior romantic encounters, Samie admitted she often experienced an adverse gut reaction. Yet, this time around, she indicated that things felt markedly different. When queried about whether she harboured the same intuition, Samie shared: "There's been no bad stuff at the minute so yeah I suppose it is all positive right now. It's early days." Sam's newfound closeness with Samie arose not long after his ex Zara McDermott's reveal of her relationship with One Direction's Louis Tomlinson. Zara and Louis' relationship appears to be flourishing, as evidenced by their recent intimate getaway in Costa Rica. One Direction favourite Louis, 33, and the Love Island star, 28, ignited relationship speculation at the beginning of this year after they were spotted having dinner and spending the night together at The Suffolk in Aldeburgh, following reports of Zara's growing closeness with the singer's half-siblings. The couple flew to the US together earlier this month, following a cosy dinner at a Suffolk hotel. During their trip, they posted identical photos from a Stereophonics concert, and Zara subtly hinted at their relationship by including Louis' arm in a breakfast photo. Zara and Louis have yet to publicly confirm their relationship, but they've been spotted engaging in public displays of affection, including holding hands during their American outing.

ITV confirms Love Island 2025 start date - and it's later than usual
Love Island is set to return to ITV2 later this year, with the upcoming series marking the 10th anniversary of the hit dating show. ITV has just revealed when the much-anticipated new series of Love Island will be gracing our screens, and eager fans will need to hold on a tad longer than usual for the beloved reality show's comeback. This year, which marks the 10th anniversary of the series, will see a fresh batch of singletons enter the Majorcan villa under the watchful eye of host Maya Jama, all in pursuit of love. Deviation from tradition, the show is set to launch not on its customary first Monday of June but rather on Monday, June 9 – precisely one week later than the previous series. The announcement came via ITV's social media platforms, with a post that read: "Mark your calendar, you're invited to this year's hottest meeting... Agenda: Initial coupling, strategic navigation of red flags, and identification of potential long-term partnerships." Just earlier this week, Love Island unveiled its inaugural trailer for the forthcoming series, where Maya Jama hinted at "huge twists" awaiting in the programme's twelfth iteration, reports the Mirror. Maya Jama declared in the teaser: "To the hottie this may concern," adding, "As per the last 11 Series we're staying loyal to the entertainment and levelling up the twists. The stakeholders are aligned, the Islanders will be laying it on Factor 50, and we're on track to hit our KPI on drama." She concluded: "It's time to crack on and deliver serious results. Let's circle back soon. Warmest wishes x." In a setting adorned with neon lights and inflatable flamingos, Maya addressed her Love Island HQ team, saying: "Right, this year, Love Island needs something bigger. Something bolder. I want ideas. "This year I want more drama, more bombshells, more break-ups, more make-ups. I want more twists. I want more twists than ever." Earlier in the year, fans welcomed the spin-off Love Island: All Stars, and just a few months after the grand finale of the 2025 series, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard revealed their separation. Ekin-Su took to Instagram to announce their decision to "go [their] separate ways", acknowledging it as a "tough decision". "He's an incredible person and I'll always cherish the memories we made both in and out of the villa. Thank you all so much for the love and support over the past few months," she continued. "We're both focusing on navigating this transition and would really appreciate privacy during this time. Love always, Ekin-Su xX." Maya Jama took over presenting Love Island from Laura Whitmore in 2023. Whitmore had presented the programme for three series. Beforehand it was presented by the late Caroline Flack between 2015 and 2019. Love Island became ITV2's most watched show in the network's history in 2018. The start date for Love Island's 2025 summer series has been confirmed by ITV and while fans don't have long to wait, it's starting at a later date than usual this year ITV has announced the start date for Love Island's upcoming series - and fans will have to wait just a little bit longer than they're used to for the hit reality show's return. While the show has typically aired on the first Monday in June for the past few years, Love Island is hitting our screens at a slightly later date this time around. The 2025 summer series is set to premiere on Monday June 9 – a week later than last year's series.
