2025 Bowl for Kids' Sake kicks off in Sioux City
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The lanes at Plaza Bowl in Sioux City were hopping Friday night as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland held its annual 'Bowl for Kids' Sake' fundraiser.
Big Brothers Big Sisters has been holding this event for over 20 years. This year's theme is 'Luau on the Lanes.' The fundraiser is part of a national event with with the national office of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

About 250 bowlers will bowl in the two-day event at Plaza Bowl.
'We're so grateful for the Siouxland community for really coming together and supporting us, helping us with our vision so we can stay open and continue to help kids because we serve about 100 kids per year,' Kim Wilson with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland said. 'Tonight it was the adults showing their skills on the lanes, and tomorrow it will be the kids' turn.
The event went until 10 p.m. Friday night. On Saturday, things will get started at noon and will go until about 4 p.m. at Plaza Bowl.
