Fans will now have to pay £4.95 for a bottle of Carling and £5.75 for their Madri pint. United have explained that the previous cheaper prices were part of a two-season-long discounted beer trial and that some new prices are still cheaper than they were three years ago. In a statement shared with the Manchester Evening News the club said: "For the last two seasons, we have trialled discounting beer following fan feedback. "Most notably, bottled Carling (500ml) will increase from £3.80 to £4.95 (which remains cheaper than 3 years ago), and a pint of Madri will increase from £3.80 to £5.75. "Although this is an increase on previous seasons, it still means a pint of beer is beneath the £6 average in the Premier League, and well beneath the average cost of a pint of beer at five local pubs to Old Trafford used by fans on match day (£6.29). Inside Benjamin Sesko's first day at Man Utd as he meets new team-mates – but fans not convinced by his car
MANCHESTER UNITED signing Benjamin Sesko had a busy first day at his new club. United signed Sesko, 22, from RB Leipzig following a deal worth up to £74million. 6 6 6 6 The striker reported to Man Utd 's training ground at Carrington to meet his new home on Saturday. And the club issued a short clip depicting his first day in a behind-the-scenes video. The Slovenia international showed up in a red Jeep and posed for pictures with the Red Devils' home jersey on. Sesko then met some of his new team-mates, such as Bruno Fernandes and Joshua Zirkzee. The centre-forward then gave his first interview as a United player to the club's official media. The Slovenian followed it up with some more photos that also showed him putting pen to paper on his five-year contract. Man Utd fans are very happy to have Sesko over at Old Trafford amid an impressive summer transfer window that also saw the arrival of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. But the forward's car choice left his new supporters divided as they took to social media. One fan tweeted: "Ngl that car tacky." Another gasped: "Yo what's the name of that Jeep?" Benjamin Sesko is paraded around Old Trafford after completing £74million transfer A third wrote: "What a ride..." This fan said: "Hope he's better than his taste in cars..." And that one asked: "How do we rate Sesko's car?" After watching his new team fail to impress with a 1-1 pre-season draw against Fiorentina, Sesko headed out into Manchester to soak up the city he is about to call home.
