769 undocumented Filipinos deported from Sabah

SANDAKAN: A total of 769 undocumented Filipino migrants were repatriated from Sabah as part of an ongoing immigration detainee deportation programme. They were deported from the immigration depots in Papar, Sandakan, and Tawau via Sandakan Port using the MV Antonia 1, bound for Zamboanga City, Philippines, on Thursday.
Advertisement Sabah Immigration Director Datuk Sh Sitti Saleha Habib Yussof said the group included 438 adult men, 140 adult women, 98 boys and 93 girls aged between three months and 73 years. Children involved in the transfer were accompanied by their parents or guardians throughout the process.
