Google Pixel 10 Pro colors leak point to less exciting options than Pixel 10
What's happened? New images claiming to show the Pixel 10 Pro color options have appeared online, hot on the heels of renders apparently revealing the four color options of the Pixel 10. The images come via Android Headlines, the same source which shared renders of the Pixel 10 colors earlier this week, and appear to show the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL in four colors; Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Moonstone (blue-gray), and Jade (green with gold accents). The gold finish from the Pixel 9 Pro (pictured above) appears to be out. Recommended Videos If these Pixel 10 Pro colors are accurate, those looking for a vibrant finish (like the Pixel 10 is rumored to have) will be out of luck, as it seems Google is opting for muted tones on its pricier phones. This is a trend we've seen from Google and others – including Apple – in the past, with the louder colors often reserved for the most affordable device(s) of a flagship series, while the Pro series tends to get a more grown-up palette. You can check out the rumored Google Pixel 10 Pro colors in the video below Why this matters: As we edge closer to the Made by Google event on August 20, where the Pixel 10 series will be announced, it seems the leaks we're seeing are honing in on what will be shown at the launch. The 'Moonstone' finish in this latest leak appears to closely match the handset Google recently revealed in an official teaser, which gives this report more weight – although we'd always advise taking unconfirmed reports with a pinch of salt. Yet, it seems we might have a pretty clear picture – at least visually – on what will arrive come August 20. Why should I care? Google's Pixel series of smartphones are one of the most important flagship offerings, going toe-to-toe with Apple's iPhones and Samsung's Galaxy devices. They've become a showcase for Android and Gemini, allowing Google to show the world what its platform and AI can do. While the Pixel phones don't sell in the same volumes as iPhone and Galaxy S handsets, they are an important window into Google's software features, and set the tone for Android devices over the next 12 months. Ok, what's next? We'll know for sure which Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro colors will be available come August 20, when Google announces its new phone series. And Google will want to make an impression, as Apple is likely to launch the iPhone 17 series just a few weeks later, in September. Between now and then, we wouldn't be surprised if more information about the quartet of upcoming handsets leaks out, so keep your eyes peeled for all the latest.

Google shows us the Pixel 10 for the first time, but it's actually a different phone
What's happened? After months of speculation, rumors and leaks, we've finally got our first glimpse of the upcoming Google Pixel 10. Our first look at the upcoming flagship phone series has come via a short video clip posted on the Google Store, with the text 'Google Pixel 10' alongside. Recommended Videos The webpage also confirms the Pixel 10 will arrive on August 20, which matches the Made by Google event the company announced last week. Why this matters: Up until now, we'd been dealing with leaked images and speculation around what the Pixel 10 series of handsets would look like. While there were multiple reports suggesting a similar look for the handset series, we can now confidently say what the Pixel 10 will look like thanks to Google's official teaser. However, the handset you see in the video below may not actually be the Pixel 10. Google is tipped to launch a quartet of handsets on August 20, with the Pixel 10 joined by the Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold – which would mirror the Pixel 9 launch from 2024. With the phone in the video featuring a camera bump with what appears to be three main cameras, it suggests we're looking at the Google Pixel 10 Pro, which is expected to have a similar triple camera setup as its predecessor. Watch Google's Pixel 10 teaser video Why should I care? With Samsung having already held two major launch events this year – for the Galaxy S25 series and more recently for the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 – and increasing attention around Apple's expected iPhone 17 launch in September, Google will be looking to make a significant impact of its own. Google's annual Pixel launch provides us with insight into how the maker of Android is envisioning the next 12 months of the platform, giving us our first look at how Android will be implemented by other manufacturers going forward. And in 2025 it's not just Android which will be drawing interest, as we expect to see further developments in firm's Gemini AI, which again will find its way into future devices over the coming months after debuting on the Pixel 10 series. Ok, what's next? There's still a lot we don't know about the Pixel 10, so expect to see more rumors and leaks break cover between now and August 20. We'll likely have to wait until the launch event before the specs, prices and release dates of the handsets are confirmed. Although, there might be some interesting color options if a recent Pixel 10 leak is accurate.

Google Confirms Pixel 10 In Surprise Reveal
Pixel 10 on display in the Google Store ( We have our clearest look yet at Google's upcoming Pixel 10 smartphone and it comes from an impeccable source... Google itself. Pixel 10 Revealed Visitors to the Google Store page have been treated to a teaser video of the Pixel 10. While there isn't a full spec sheet on show just yet, the addition of a third lens to the rear camera can be seen, making this the first base Pixel model to come with a telephoto lens. The Pixel 10 teaser also shows the evolutionary design of the Pixel 10; some dimensions have been tightened up, notably the size of the camera island and the smaller bezels, but this is essentially the same Pixel design language as last year. You can now expect the Pixel 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors. Pixel 10 Gets Ahead Of The Leaks Following the announcement of its "Made By Google" event on Aug. 20, it would be natural for more leaks and discussions around the Pixel launch to take place. This early reveal (which echoes a similar strategy taken with the Pixel 9 in 2024) allows Google to guide the attention of the coverage. In this case, the awkward "this looks like the same phone as last year" can be parried. The focus pushed towards the increasing use of artificial intelligence and Gemini AI in the package, the new camera package, and the potential of the Tensor mobile chipset to offer more power and more efficiency over last year's silicon. Pixel 10 Goals The Pixel 10 will certainly compete with other smartphones for consumer attention, but the Pixel series still retains part of the role that the Google Nexus devices once offered: that of a reference design. With the Pixel series, Google can signal the direction it believes smartphones should take in the future. Take the current vogue of AI smartphones, the Pixels were the first phones to go all-in on AI, with the Pixel 8 marketed as the first smartphone with AI built in. AI is now a primary component of a smartphone package, and even those phones without a fully rounded AI suite have to be sold under this shadow. The Pixel 10 will likely continue the AI push at this price point, but the aforementioned third lens for the primary camera is a market-based nudge to other manufacturers to up their camera game. No doubt, post-processing by AI is going to feature in the Pixel promotions to reiterate this. Google is expected to launch the Pixel 10 series during "Made By Google" on Aug. 20, with retail sales to begin on Aug. 27. Now read more about the Pixel 10 design...

Google Store starts teasing Pixel 10 series: T-minus one month to launch
We're just one month away from August 20, when Google intends to introduce its latest hardware lineup at the company's Made by Google event. That's looking like it's going to involve a nice assortment of devices, including the Pixel Watch 4 and maybe even Pixel Buds 2a on the wearables front. But the star of the show will almost certainly be the Pixel 10 series — and ahead of the phones taking the stage next month, Google's already rolling out the carpet for them in the Google Store online.

Google giveaway offers free smartwatch and earbuds ahead of Pixel 10 launch
The Pixel 10 is set to be unveiled at the annual Made By Google event on August 20, but these Pixel 9 deals may too good to miss. Google has confirmed when it will unveil the new Pixel 10 smartphone, but the tech giant's latest giveaway may tempt shoppers into sticking with the current model. Google's annual Made by Google event is set for August 20 in New York City, where it will showcase its latest Pixel devices, including phones, watches and earbuds. Ahead of the event, the Pixel 9 range has dropped to a record low price as retailers tempt shoppers into picking up the 2024 model. One of our favourite deals comes from Currys-backed retailer which is handing out free Google gadgets with orders of the Google Pixel 9. Customers can get their hands on Pixel Buds A Series, Pixel Buds Pro 2 and a Pixel Watch 3 when signing up for select 24-month contracts. The Pixel Buds A are bundled in with a choice of plans, including iD Mobile's £24.99 per month deal, alongside 100GB of data for a £59 upfront cost. There's also the option to increase the monthly cost to £27.99 to lower the upfront cost to £9. However, this works out at £22 more expensive over the life of the plan. For the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2, a standout package is the iD Mobile £28.99 plan, with £9 upfront for 100GB of data. Those preferring a free Pixel Watch 3 (41mm) can opt for iD Mobile's £28.99 plan, offering 100GB with a £59 upfront cost. The free gift with each package will be delivered with the handset to the address provided at the checkout, however the deal is only available while stocks last. It's worth noting that iD Mobile – like most providers – will increase its prices every April alongside inflation. The company has already set out its changes, with the £24.99 plan rising to £26.49 from April 2026 and £27.99 from 1st April 2027. Taking into account the £59 upfront cost, the total amount paid over 24 months comes to £715.76, but those who prefer to buy the phone outright can currently find a cheaper deal elsewhere. That's because an unlocked Google Pixel 9 256GB has fallen from £899 to £597 at Amazon – a £302 saving. This is the cheapest price ever offered for the handset, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel. Sky Mobile is another option, with the 128GB model now at £21 when spreading the cost, with £12 upfront. However, this comes on a longer 36-month contract and must be purchased with a Sky data plan, ranging from £0 for 100MB to £20 for unlimited. The Google Pixel 9 has earned some rave reviews on Amazon, where it currently boasts a 4.4-star rating. One happy customer said, 'Brilliant. The phone feels quality, and the build is excellent. The transfer of data from a Samsung S21 was simple. The camera is excellent. The OS is less fussy than Samsung.' Another said: 'Good all-round phone. Good, solid case. Clear screen with Android 14 but upgraded to 15. Includes Gemini AI software. Seems intuitive, but only time will tell how useful it is.' However, the same user found a downside, adding: "The only criticism is that there is no SD card slot to increase memory. If you take and store a lot of photos, you will have to keep transferring to another memory medium.' But another five-star review said: 'Excellent product. Has a sleek design and lightweight, lovely features and great value for money. It is also very easy to use.'
