Boursa Kuwait ends lower
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 3: Boursa Kuwait ended Sunday's trading session with the All Share Index falling by 23.44 points, or 0.27%, closing at 8,594.39 points. Trading activity included 332 million shares exchanged through 22,382 transactions, reaching a total value of KD 68.3 million (USD 208.9 million). The Main Market Index moved up by 42.13 points, or 0.55%, finishing at 7,655.84 points. This came on turnover of 238.4 million shares via 16,538 trades, amounting to KD 33.15 million (USD 101.4 million). Conversely, the Premier Market Index declined by 40.98 points, or 0.44%, to 9,253.22 points, with 93.6 million shares traded through 5,844 transactions, valued at KD 35.2 million (USD 107.7 million). Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index rose by 12.47 points, or 0.16%, to reach 7,617.14 points. KUWAIT CITY - Boursa Kuwait finished Thursday's trading session in positive territory, with the general index climbing 70.42 points, or 0.83 percent, to settle at 8,598.42. Trading remained robust, as 819.3 million shares were exchanged across 40,798 cash transactions, generating a turnover of 136.7 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately $447.1 million). The Main Market Index advanced 52.87 points, or 0.71 percent, to close at 7,452.38, supported by a brisk trading volume of 670.1 million shares via 31,178 transactions and a traded value of 80.2 million dinars (around $262.3 million). Meanwhile, the Premier Market Index saw an increase of 78.28 points, or 0.85 percent, closing at 9,309.26. The segment recorded a trading volume of 149.1 million shares through 9,620 transactions, with a turnover of 56.4 million dinars (about $184.5 million). In parallel, the Main 50 Index rose 27.92 points, or 0.38 percent, to stand at 7,452.03. A total of 377.7 million shares changed hands through 14,679 cash transactions totaling 44 million dinars (approximately $143.9 million).

KUWAIT CITY, June 11: Boursa Kuwait ended Wednesday's session on a positive note, with the general index climbing 51.51 points, or 0.63 percent, to close at 8,268.50 points. The day saw a total of 408.11 million shares traded through 21,279 cash transactions, with a total value of KD 94.7 million (approximately USD 289.7 million). The Main Market Index advanced 34.51 points (0.49 percent) to settle at 7,042.38 points, as 201.6 million shares changed hands via 10,107 transactions, generating KD 21 million (around USD 64.2 million) in turnover. Meanwhile, the Premier Market Index posted a gain of 58.29 points, or 0.65 percent, to reach 8,982.89 points. Trading volume reached 206.4 million shares through 11,172 transactions, with a total value of KD 73.7 million (about USD 225.5 million). In parallel, the Major 50 Index also edged higher, adding 16.74 points (0.23 percent) to finish at 7,212.92 points. Trading activity was robust, as 369.9 million shares changed hands through 21,325 transactions, generating a total value of KD 101.9 million (approximately $311.8 million). The Premier Market Index led the gains, advancing 70.37 points, or 0.79 percent, to finish at 8,924.60. Trading volume on the Premier Market reached 222.5 million shares across 12,829 transactions, with a turnover of KD 84.5 million (about $258.5 million). Meanwhile, the Main Market Index edged up by 16.50 points, or 0.24 percent, settling at 7,007.87. Investors traded 147.4 million shares in 8,496 deals, with a total value of KD 17.4 million (roughly $53.2 million). The Main 50 Index also posted gains, rising 14.72 points, or 0.20 percent, to close at 7,196.18.
