MARS has announced the comeback of a beloved snack that has not been seen on shelves in over 10 years. The choc brand has told shoppers that white chocolate Maltesers will be making a return this summer. 1 The iconic chocolate will be making a come back The snack is expected to return to supermarkets and independent stores on the 16 June, giving fans less than a month to wait. And you can expect to see the delight in both fun sized and sharing brands. It comes after shoppers have been pleading with the brand for years to bring the treat back. The treat first launched in 2003 but was taken off shelves back in 2014. Since then social media has been flooded with pleas from shoppers to bring the choc back. Including comments from punters who said the creamy honeycomb bites were the "best thing" they have ever had. Others have said: "Every now and then I remember that white chocolate Malteasers were discontinued and I feel furious." And a third distraught customer, who said: "I beg @MaltesersUK bring white chocolate malteasers back, I crave them every week."
