Viduthalai-fame Bhavani Sre to play a key role in Venky Atluri's Suriya 46
After going on floors in June, Suriya 46, directed by Venky Atluri, has been filming in full swing with the makers reportedly completing the second schedule of the film recently. In addition to the star-studded cast which includes Mamitha Baiju playing the female lead, Radikaa Sarathkumar and senior Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon portraying key roles, actor Bhavani Sre, known for her role in the Viduthalai films has onboarded the yet-to-be-titled film. This was revealed to Cinema Express by a source close to the actor.

And that one performance was enough to be her calling from Malayalam industry, she has now branched out to Tamil cinema after the phenomenal success of 'Premalu'. From sharing the screen with Thalapathy Vijay to working with Suriya, Mamitha now has her hands one point, Rashmika Mandanna and Sreeleela were everywhere, doing films in multiple languages. Currently, they are busy with projects in Telugu and Hindi. But, Mamitha seems to have outdone themselves as she currently has seven projects in her kitty. Let's take a look:1. JANA NAYAGANDirector H Vinoth's 'Jana Nayagan' is Thalapathy Vijay's last film before he becomes a full-time politician. DUDEMamitha Baiju is paired opposite actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan, who is basking in the success of 'Love Today' and 'Dragon'. Directed by Keertheeswaran, the film's ensemble cast includes Sarathkumar, Rohini, Hridhu Haroon and Dravid Selvam. The film will hit theatres on Diwali 2025. 3. IRANDU VAANAMDirector Ramkumar, who helmed superhit films including 'Mundasupatti and Ratsasan, has joined hands with Vishnu Vishal yet again for a film titled 'Irandu Vaanam'. The film will see Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. 4. SURIYA-VENKY ATLURI'S FILMAfter the mammoth success of 'Lucky Bhaskar', director Venky Atluri will helm a film featuring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles. While it is unclear if Mamitha is paired with Suriya, this combination seems exciting. The film also features Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in pivotal roles. 5. DHANUSH'S D54On July 10, Dhanush and director Vignesh Raja's untitled film went on floors. Mamitha Baiju will play the female lead in this mystery thriller. Exciting combo, isn't it? 6. PREMALU ACTORS REUNITEMamitha Baiju and Sangeeth Prathap (who played Amal Davis in 'Premalu') will join hands for an untitled film. Directed by Dinoy Paulose and presented by Ashiq Usman, the film has music composed by Govind Vasantha. 7. BETHLEHEM KUDUMBA UNITMamitha Baiju will share the screen with Nivin Pauly in 'Bethlehem Kudumba Unit', directed by Girish AD, who helmed 'Premalu'. Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju to star in romantic film ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit', produced by Bhavana Studios and directed by Girish AD
Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju will star in director Girish AD's next movie. Titled Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, the Malayalam film is produced by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran of Bhavana Studios. Bhavana Studios had previously collaborated with Girish AD for Premalu, the blockbuster romantic comedy starring Mamitha, Naslen and Sangeeth Prathap. The makers announced the new project on July 04, 2025 (Friday). Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is penned by Girish and Kiran Josey. Vishnu Vijay, who composed the hit songs of Premalu, is roped in as the music director. 'Super excited to share that Bhavana Studios is teaming up with Girish AD for Production No.6, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, a romantic tale starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead,' Bhavana Studios posted on Instagram. The decision was formalized through a special resolution passed during the party's State Executive Committee meeting held at the TVK headquarters in Chennai. As reported by NDTV, the meeting, presided over by Vijay himself, also set in motion plans for a large-scale state conference to be held next month.
