Kerry Katona goes solo as she lands new job without Katie Price amid tour chaos
Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona has landed a huge new job amid her on and off tour with best pal Katie Price as they've been hit with cancellations and scheduling woes Kerry Katona hasn't let her pal Katie Price get in the way of her heading out on the road, as she secures a new lucrative deal. The former Atomic Kitten star, 44, suffered a setback when her scheduled appearance with the former glamour model, 47, was cancelled at the last minute. They also revealed they would be travelling the country on a mammoth tour, stopping off at over 30 towns before it was cancelled. However, Katie and Kerry managed to revive their shows as just weeks later they confirmed it was back on. While their tour looks set to happen, Kerry has secured another all on her own. Without needing to rely on mate Katie, Kerry is set to spend two months on the stage as part of the cast of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. The theatre show of the hit movie will travel across the UK in June and July next year as Kerry takes centre stage. Kerry's agency confirmed the exciting project as they said: "Our client @kerrykatona7 will be touring in the musical Here We Go Again in June and July 2026 across the U.K. and Ireland." Her celebrity pals have already signed up to support her when the tour kicks off as Love Island's Olivia Hawkins commented: "Yessssss finally! Superstar! Ready to be front row." The news comes as Kerry has faced uncertainty over her performances with Katie. This past weekend, Katie pulled out of Glasgow Pride due to "another urgent obligation." It came just weeks after she and Kerry pulled out of Barnsley Pride due to "unforeseen circumstances" and "personal reasons." Back in May, Katie and Kerry also cancelled their entire "tell-all" tour, which had been scheduled to visit venues around the UK. An Evening With Katie Price & Kerry Katona was given the axe when Katie was reportedly prevented from committing due to her "busy schedule." A source told The Sun: "Katie is gutted and tried everything she could to make it work, but she has had to step away from the tour because she has childcare commitments and also a very busy schedule." However, the tour is now back on and the shows will go ahead as originally planned. A source added to the publication: 'For the last few weeks, the team putting this together have been in crisis talks with Katie's people and they've managed to find a solution that suits everyone. "Some of the dates will be rescheduled to fit around Katie's childcare clashes, meaning she is back in. Everyone behind the scenes is thrilled because it would have been a financial nightmare to pay back all the tickets that had been re-sold. "Katie and Kerry are chuffed too as they didn't want to let any fans down.' Their show will kick off in September in Ellsmere Port and end the following month in Hull. The pals plan to "share stories of their friendship, marriage and divorce, bankruptcy, 'I'm A Celebrity', the importance of family, their constant press attention and turning their lives around."

Lily James is a mountain-climbing 'addict' after filming Cliffhanger
Lily James has become a mountain-climbing "addict" since filming the Cliffhanger reboot. The Cinderella star, 36, leads the cast of a new version of Sylvester Stallone's 1993 action movie alongside Pierce Brosnan and the actress has confessed she had the "had the time of [her] life" working on the film and she's thrown herself into the sport of climbing. She told The Hollywood Reporter: "Oh my God, I had the time of my life. It was so hard. I did five hours of climbing a day for many weeks. "I was on mountains nonstop. I fell completely in love with it. It's the most mind-body-soul activity. "And I'm a [mountain-climbing] addict now. I did all my own climbing [in the film], and I got real strong. I was just pounding press-ups between every take." The film is due for release next year and Lily can't wait to share it with audiences. She added: "I'm really proud of Cliffhanger. I'm so excited. We're in the edit and getting it ready, and I'm super hopeful. "It is such a cool reimagining, and while it's really unexpected at times, it keeps all the gripping glory of the original, I hope." Lily went on to reveal she loved working with Brosnan again after they previously appeared in 2018 movie musical Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. She said of her co-star: "We were so lucky to have him, and he's so brilliant in the movie. He's one of life's true gentlemen, and he was such a brilliant actor to have as our father in this story. "He just brings real heart, and he elevates the whole thing. He's just a dream, and getting to work with him again was so wonderful." Lily plays Naomi Cooper in the new film with Brosnan as her onscreen dad - and the actress previously insisted the new take is "definitely different" to the original. Speaking with Screen Rant, she said: 'I don't want to say too much to give it away right now. What I will say is I had one of the most thrilling experiences of my life. We shot in the Dolomites. We were there for six weeks on the mountains. 'I was really hanging off mountains. We had to shut down multiple times because of freak snowstorms. "The story is very much through Naomi and her sister Sydney. I would hope that we are maintaining what people love about the original cliffhanger, but it's definitely different. "It's feral, it's raw. It's a real re-imagining, and I am producing it too." Stallone was initially due to reprise his role as ranger Gabriel 'Gabe' Walker in the new Cliffhanger movie, but the actor ultimately left the project and it was subsequently overhauled with James and Brosnan leading the reboot instead. The official synopsis reads: 'In this reboot of Cliffhanger, seasoned mountaineer Ray Cooper (Brosnan) and his daughter Sydney run a mountain chalet in the Dolomites. "During a weekend trip with a billionaire's son, they are targeted by a gang of kidnappers. Ray's older daughter Naomi (James), still haunted by a past climbing accident, witnesses the attack and escapes." The cast for Cliffhanger also includes Nell Tiger Free, Franz Rogowski, Shubham Saraf, Assaad Bouab, Suzy Bemba and Bruno Gouery.
