Manushi Chhillar Serves Gothic Glamour For Shantanu & Nikhil At India Couture Week 2025

Last Updated: Manushi Chhillar made a striking front-row appearance at India Couture Week 2025 in a sheer lace and embellished black ensemble by Shantanu & Nikhil. Manushi Chhillar turned heads at the India Couture Week 2025 in Delhi, serving up high-octane glamour in a look that perfectly embodied Shantanu & Nikhil's dark romantic aesthetic. Dressed in a statement ensemble by the designer duo, the former Miss World looked every bit the modern couture muse, elegant, edgy, and enigmatic. Her outfit was a striking blend of structure and sensuality. The top featured sheer black lace with long sleeves and a high neckline, exuding gothic elegance while offering a bold glimpse of the fitted black bustier worn underneath. The intricate floral lace clung delicately to her frame, balancing mystery with allure. Complementing the top, her high-waisted skirt was a masterclass in texture and embellishment. Crafted from a rich fabric densely embroidered with black sequins, beads, and crystal work, the skirt caught the light with every movement—an opulent contrast to the transparency of the blouse. Manushi's makeup played into the drama of the look with smoky, kohl-rimmed eyes that extended into a soft wing, adding depth and intensity. Her lids shimmered with hints of charcoal and plum, while the rest of her face remained understated nude lips, sculpted cheekbones, and softly highlighted skin gave her that effortless red-carpet polish. It was a makeup moment that didn't just complement the outfit it amplified it. Her hair was styled in a chic, low bun with soft tendrils framing her face, creating a romantic-meets-sultry vibe. The middle-parted tendrils brought softness to the bold look and let her statement eyes take center stage. The hairstyle allowed the high-neck lace detailing of her top to remain visible and uncluttered, reinforcing the ensemble's clean yet theatrical finish. Holding her phone for a mirror selfie, Manushi looked confident, composed, and in complete control of her style narrative. Captioned 'Delhi nights with @shantanunikhil," the image captured the mood of the night couture with character, beauty with boldness. This appearance wasn't just about wearing couture it was about embodying the fierce, feminine energy that Shantanu & Nikhil are known for. view comments First Published: July 28, 2025, 08:03 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Manushi Chhillar Reacts To Maalik's Underwhelming Box Office: 'Film Isn't Family-Friendly'

Manushi Chhillar says she'd love Maalik to be a blockbuster, but admits box office success depends on many uncontrollable factors beyond quality. Former Miss World and actor Manushi Chhillar has been wooing the audience with her acting career, and most recently, she was seen in Maalik co-starring Rajkummar Rao. But the recently released gangster drama has had rather underwhelming box office results, and Manushi is quite aware of it and doesn't shy away from accepting it. In an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Manushi opened up about the underwhelming box office performance of the film and shared how it doesn't bother her. When asked if the underwhelming box office ever impacts her, she said, 'With a movie like this? No, not really. Because as an actor, your job is to deliver the best, to be the character in the best possible way. One has to realise that many, many things create a blockbuster, and it's not just the quality of the film. And honestly, it is timing. Also, Maalik is not a family-friendly film. Maalik is A-rated. That automatically cuts down the audience." Manushi further continued and shared, for job satisfaction, 'You would love your film to be a blockbuster, but I would say that every film might not open to those numbers due to many, many reasons, which you don't have any control over." 'But I think I still feel very content as an actor because I know that I've done my job, and I've done it in the best possible manner," she explained. Further, while talking about how people are praising her performance in the film, she said, 'I can't tell you the number of people who have been reaching out to me after watching Maalik. And these are general people, not just loving Shalini, but loving the film. This is happening to me for the very first time. And when you know that people who watched the film have liked your character, it's a very big win." About Maalik Apart from Rajkummar Rao and Manushi Chhillar, the film also stars Saurabh Shukla and Saurabh Sachdeva in pivotal roles. Maalik is a hard-hitting tale of ambition, power, and survival. Directed by Pulkit, the film marks his first theatrical release. Known for his hard-hitting thrillers and emotionally charged dramas, the film is produced by Kumar Taurani under the Tips Films banner, along with Jay Shewakramani of Northern Lights Films.
