HIGHLIGHTS: Barclay's home run leads (6)Odessa past (11)Wallace State
YUMA, Arizona (KMID/KPEJ) – The Odessa College Lady Wranglers defeated Wallace State Hanceville 6-2 in their first game of the NJCAA Division 1 World Series. The Lady Wranglers were led by Mascon Barclay's 3-run home run, and pitcher Haydn Milley pitched all seven innings, striking out nine batters.
No. 6 Odessa now awaits the winner of Northwest Florida State and Southern Union State. The Lady Wranglers get a day off and will play on Wednesday.
