Scattered storms forecasted for next few days
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The humidity may have tapered off, but now we have scattered storms to contend with over the next few days.
For Thursday, these storms will start out coastally then pop-up throughout our viewing area bringing the chance for rumbles of thunder and heavier rainfall at points. Most of these storms will make their presence known in the afternoon through part of the evening (12 p.m. – 10 p.m.), but there is no threat for severe weather. It'll be a fairly similar situation and timeframe for scattered storms on Friday as well.
Temperatures in the overnight will get down to lower 70s and during the day see upper 80s.
Once we get to Saturday, the sunshine will reappear with temperatures nearing the 90-degree mark and the humidity will make a comeback for your Memorial Day holdouts shift after Trump, Johnson offer assurances
