2 hour 22 minute long biggest flop film of India, suffered loss of Rs 50 crore, became hit on OTT, Movie's name is..., lead actors are...

Love triangles in movies always make the plot interesting. We've seen stories with two boyfriends and one girlfriend, where one is ditched for the other, only for the character to go back to their ex and start dating them again. But the Bollywood movie we're talking about today is a little different. It's an unusual love triangle featuring one husband and two wives. But there's a catch! The romantic-comedy movie, directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh, is a complete family entertainer film. It's light-hearted. It was a good comeback for the lead male actor, Arjun Kapoor, in a comic segment. The other stars are Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh. This film is made on those three stars who have more flops than hits. This film also has a poor rating of 4.3 on IMDb. Not only this, but this movie is the biggest flop of 2025. The 2-hour 22-minute film is Mere Husband Ki Biwi , which was released on 21 February 2025. Made on a budget of Rs 60 crore, the movie only earned Rs 12.73 crore. As soon as it was released on OTT in April, it became the most-watched movie. It's been 47 days now, the movie is still trending in the top 10 list on streaming platform JioHotstar. Mere Husband Ki Biwi also features Harsh Gujral, Dino Morea, Aditya Seal, Shakti Kapoor, Kavita Kapoor, Anita Raj, Tiku Talsania. The film was initially titled Meri Patni Ka Remake, which was later changed to Mere Husband Ki Biwi.

Bhumi Pednekar Serves Summer Bridal Inspiration In A Saffron Floral Lehenga

Last Updated: Bhumi Pednekar turned heads in a saffron and pink lehenga by Mahima Mahajan. She shared the pictures on her social media. Bhumi Pednekar is currently basking in the success of her romantic drama, The Royals. The actor played the role of Sophia Kanmani Shekhar, an entrepreneur, in this Netflix series. She shared the screen with Ishaan Khatter. Amidst the success, Bhumi has not stopped from serving looks on her social media. For her recent look, she left her fans stunned as she opted for a saffron lehenga. Taking to her Instagram, Bhumi Pednekar shared a series of pictures of herself in a stunning saffron floral lehenga. The floral embroidery made the lehenga a perfect pick for all summer and spring festivities. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, 'Just some bling for the feed." Take a look at the post shared by Bhumi here. Bhumi turned heads in a custom Mahima Mahajan creation, called the Wahida lehenga. Made from organza, the lehenga set featured a dreamy palette of kesar (saffron) and soft pink. The set came with a voluminous skirt that was adorned with bold floral embroidery, swirling leaf motifs, and intricate threadwork. The graceful silhouette struck the perfect balance between drama and sophistication. She paired the lehenga skirt with a matching blouse. The blouse was hand-embroidered with shimmering sequins, mirror accents, and delicate thread detailing. The cropped and structured design highlighted Bhumi's sculpted frame. Styled by Nidhi Jeswani, Bhumi paired with the lehenga with a matching flowing dupatta. For the accessories, Bhumi opted for statement earrings from Golden Window and a striking cuff by Ishhaara. These carefully picked accessories brought out the beauty of the lehenga rather than overpowering it. For the glam, she opted for a soft glam look. She added a healthy dose of blush for that gorgeous flushed look. She added a complementary peach shade on her lips. She sealed her look with a tiny round bindi for a traditional touch, while her sleek, middle-parted bun offered a refined contrast, ensuring all eyes stayed on the lehenga and those exquisite jewels. On the work front, Bhumi was also seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which was released earlier this year. She shared the screen with Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh. She will be next seen in Daldal. Rakul Preet reacts to buzz around Virat Kohli's like on Avneet Kaur's post

Actor Rakul Preet Singh reacted to the buzz around cricketer Virat Kohli's like on Avneet Kaur's post. She called it sad that people are even interested in knowing whether Virat's like on the 'Tiku Weds Sheru' actor's post was accidental or not. Rakul also reflected on the 'jobless' people who are only attracted to a podcast with Shubankar Mishra for his YouTube channel, the 'Mere Husband Ki Biwi' actor stated that Avneet gained 2 million followers after Virat's said, "Too sad yaar. That is too sad. Hum bohot vele hain (we are so jobless), that we even know that his like increased 2 million followers for her. How does it matter if he liked or didn't or it happened by mistake. It often happens on Instagram that you unfollow friends by mistake. It's so sad that just because he's a celebrity, what he likes, doesn't like turns into news." Rakul emphasised how much time people waste on social media. The actor also refused to give her opinion on whether Instagram's algorithm 'mistakenly registered an interaction' on Virat's said, "It's a very personal decision. I don't think I have the place to comment on (why he gave an explanation). Everything comes under the scanner when you're a celebrity. We waste so much time on social media, it's not needed."advertisementFor the unversed, Virat's official Instagram handle registered a like on an Avneet Kaur fan page. Despite the like being later removed, social media users posted screenshots of the like by the Indian cricketer on the internet. He later clarified about the same, stating it happened because of the Instagram marketing platform BuzzCraft had reported that the value of Avneet's posts increased by 30% from 2 lakh to 2.6 lakh. ‘I keep attracting women towards my men': Bhumi Pednekar on love triangles, emotional ease, and being whole without a partner

Bhumi Pednekar has always been vocal about her views on relationships, and in a recent interview, she shared her stance on love, monogamy, and self-contentment. While promoting her upcoming film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, she revealed to News18 Showsha that she is 'very possessive' in relationships and firmly believes in monogamy. She stated, 'I don't know what is it about me and the roles I do. I keep attracting the women towards my men. But in real life, I'm very possessive in a relationship. I completely believe in the institution of monogamy. So, there's no chance that I can tolerate a love triangle.' However, she also emphasised that while she is open to falling in love, she is equally comfortable with the idea of not having a man in her life, finding happiness in her own space. 'If I fall in love, then great. Even if it doesn't happen, I'm okay with it. When you're so happy in life, you feel complete on your own. But what I look for in a relationship is comfort. I want a relationship where I can just be myself with the person. Ease is really important,' she said. The actor added that more than any other relationship, she believes in the power of sisterhood, mentioning, 'As women, we all have shared experiences. We all, in a larger bracket, fall towards the same end. And those shared experiences automatically create a lot of empathy for each other. There's this unsaid sisterhood where we know that we've each other's back through thick and thin.' A post shared by Bhumi Pednekar (@bhumipednekar) Gurleen Baruah, existential psychotherapist at That Culture Thing, tells 'Possessiveness in relationships is a natural human experience — even the most secure individuals can feel it at times. It often stems from a fear of loss, a need for certainty, or past wounds that make us crave control. But relationships, like emotions, are fluid; trying to 'hold on tightly' can create anxiety, resentment, and a sense of suffocation for both partners. Instead of suppressing these feelings, acknowledging them with self-awareness helps.' Managing possessiveness in a healthy way means recognising that emotions come and go, she adds, reflecting on where the insecurity is rooted, and trusting both yourself and your partner. Love thrives in spaciousness — when it's about trust and freedom rather than control, it becomes more fulfilling and secure. Baruah states, 'Being comfortable with being single isn't inherently good or bad — it depends on how one engages with it and what meaning they attach to solitude. From an existential lens, solitude is a fundamental part of human existence. At its best, it allows deep self-awareness, emotional independence, and a strong sense of identity. It teaches resilience, helps people understand their needs beyond societal expectations, and fosters the ability to be alone without feeling lonely — an essential skill for any meaningful relationship.' However, she stresses that excessive comfort in solitude can also make it harder to share life with someone else. 'Relationships require adaptability, compromise, and openness to different perspectives—things that prolonged independence might make challenging. Some may struggle to let others in or find it difficult to embrace the uncertainty that comes with intimacy.'

Rakul joins Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan in ‘De De Pyaar De 2'

Rakul Preet Singh is all set to reprise her beloved role as Aisha in De De Pyaar De 2, the much-awaited sequel to the 2019 romantic comedy hit. Starring alongside Ajay Devgn, who returns as the middle-aged man caught between love and family drama, the sequel introduces R. Madhavan in a key role, sparking curiosity about a fresh twist in the love triangle. While the original film, directed by Akiv Ali, won over audiences with its mix of humor, emotion, and an unconventional romance, the sequel will be helmed by Anshul Sharma. The film is backed by T-Series and Luv Films, and is scheduled to hit theatres on 19 September 2025. Fans are eager to see how Madhavan's entry will stir things up in the narrative, possibly challenging the equation between Aisha and Ashish (Ajay Devgn). Rakul's character had won hearts in the first part for her charm and spontaneity, and expectations are high for her performance once again. Off-screen, Rakul recently turned heads with her bold fashion statement — a denim-on-denim look paired with high boots — adding to the buzz surrounding her upcoming projects. With recent setbacks like Mere Husband Ki Biwi and Indian 2, De De Pyaar De 2 is being seen as a potential comeback for the actress. Fans are hopeful this sequel will recreate the magic of the original and give Rakul the box office success she richly deserves.
