Potential location of Trump's presidential library revealed in new report

President Donald Trump is considering the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) campus in Boca Raton as the site for his forthcoming presidential library, according to a new report. The president and his advisers have chosen the site due to its proximity to his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, and negotiations between Trump's lawyers and the FAU over a 100-year lease at no cost are said to be currently ongoing, The Wall Street Journal reports. Trump's team is meanwhile planning a campaign to raise hundreds of millions of dollars for the project's construction. Eric Trump, his wife Lara Trump, and the president's son-in-law, Michael Boulos, married to Tiffany Trump, are reportedly leading the cash drive and have already established a non-profit to support the library. Tens of millions of dollars in leftover inauguration funds, as well as more than $37 million recouped from lawsuits involving ABC News and Meta Platforms, will be allocated towards bankrolling the project, the Journal reports. Private donations from wealthy individuals and businesses are also likely to play a significant role. The newspaper adds that Trump is hoping to install the controversial $400m luxury jet he was gifted by Qatar at the site as a tourist attraction once its years of service are over, taking inspiration from the housing of Ronald Reagan 's decommissioned Air Force One at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. 'He redefined the presidency, so there is no question in my mind he will redefine the post-presidency, including what a modern presidential library looks like,' said historian Mark Updegrove, chief executive of the LBJ Foundation, looking ahead to Trump's library. The president could have pressed ahead with the construction of a library honoring his legacy at the conclusion of his first term in 2021, but decided against it after concluding it would signal the end of his political ambitions. At the time, Trump was dreaming of mounting the spectacular comeback that few believed possible in the aftermath of the Capitol riot, but which duly came to pass. Now, he is turning his attention towards building a 'MAGA Mecca' to cement his legacy, which will host events and house memorabilia from his time in the White House, as well as official documents from his tenure pending negotiations with the National Archives and Records Administration. The first American presidential library was opened by Franklin D Roosevelt in 1939, and there are currently 16, with Barack Obama 's in Chicago due to open to the public next year.

Trump Wants His Presidential Library Set in Florida, Enticed by Free Land

Donald Trump is considering the campus of Florida Atlantic University for a presidential library, on a site where he has been offered free land, as planning begins for the MAGA mecca he eschewed during his first term. Trump and his advisers are planning a campaign to raise hundreds of millions of dollars for a library fund. One of the president's sons, Eric Trump, and one of his sons-in-law, Michael Boulos, recently established a nonprofit to support the library. More than $37 million from lawsuits involving ABC News and Meta Platforms, as well as tens of millions of leftover inauguration funds, are expected to fund construction of the complex, along with donors. Trump envisions turning a $400 million Boeing 747 jet—a gift from Qatar—into a tourist attraction at the library.

Paul Pogba holds talks with Champions League club over return to football after the end of his 18-month doping ban

Paul Pogba has held talks with Monaco as he weighs up his next move after returning from his doping ban. The free agent, 32, officially returned from his suspension in March and last featured for Juventus against Empoli in September 2023. Pogba left Juventus in November last year and has been training to keep himself sharp for any suitors. The former Manchester United star shared pictures on Tuesday at an athletics and football facility with Roma striker Paulo Dybala and, somewhat bizarrely, Donald Trump 's businessman son-in-law Michael Boulos among others. The foul weather did not deter him from getting a workout in. Mail Sport exclusively revealed last year that Pogba had had his four-year ban cut to 18 months after appealing to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. He also sat down with Mail Sport one-on-one to open up on the 'hell' of his ban and how it had impacted his life. 'We are all human, we all have feelings. When that (ban) happened, I realised what life is,' the World Cup winner said. 'Paul Pogba — the famous guy — is no more. People were avoiding me. I used to get invited to fashion weeks and events like that. 'Now they were like, 'We can't use Pogba'. My friends weren't ringing like the way they were ringing before. 'When people hear doping it's like they think you want to become the Incredible Hulk. That's how people used to see me. And public opinion means they can say what they want.' He also said: 'We went through hell. A time of darkness. But this is my second chance, I have to use it.' Moving to Monaco would represent his firts taste of domestic French football since he left Le Havre's academy in 2009. Adi Hutter's men finished third in Ligue 1 this season and have therefore qualified for the league phase of the Champions League. There is every chance he could face one of his old Premier League rivals, although there will be no reunion with Man United after they lost the Europa League final. The Frenchman eventually left Old Trafford on a free in the summer of 2022, six years after he had returned for a then-world record £89million fee. He returned to Juventus in 2022 but only managed 12 appearances due to injury troubles before a failed drugs test in August 2023. In February 2024, Pogba, then 30, was slapped with a four-year ban from football after failing the test. He had tested positive for testosterone after Juventus's first game of the 2023-24 season against Udinese, and was given his hefty punishment by an anti-doping prosecutor's office in Italy.

Eric Trump Starts Nonprofit to Build His Father's Presidential Library

President Trump's son Eric and son-in-law Michael Boulos have founded a new nonprofit to raise money for Mr. Trump's presidential library, according to incorporation papers filed Friday in Florida. The nonprofit, called the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library Foundation, is intended to 'steward, preserve, and celebrate the legacy and historical record of President Donald J. Trump and his presidency,' the filing said. It was signed on May 19, but filed on Friday. In the filing, the foundation said it intends to operate as a tax-exempt nonprofit, like the foundations set up to build libraries for other recent presidents. The Internal Revenue Service must grant tax-exempt status, however, and the approval process can take weeks or months. The foundation's trustees include Eric Trump, Mr. Boulos — who is married to Mr. Trump's daughter Tiffany — and James Kiley, a Long Island attorney who has represented Mr. Trump in New York. The president has not said where he intends to locate his library, but his team has reportedly scouted universities in Florida. The foundation's address, at least for now, is at a Trump golf course in Jupiter, Fla. This is the second nonprofit set up in Florida to raise money for Mr. Trump's presidential library. The first, the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library Fund, was incorporated in late December. It is still listed as active by the state of Florida, but it has not been granted tax exemption by the I.R.S. Mr. Kiley did not immediately respond to an email asking why there were two. Though Mr. Trump's library nonprofit is new, it may soon have millions in the bank. ABC News and Meta agreed to make a total of $37 million in donations to Mr. Trump's library, to settle lawsuits that Mr. Trump filed against them before he was re-elected. In ABC News's case, the legal settlement indicates that the money will held in escrow until Mr. Trump's group is granted tax exemption by the I.R.S. A spokesman for Meta declined to say if its settlement has a similar provision. In recent weeks, Mr. Trump has also said he would like the 747 aircraft that Qatar donated to serve as Air Force One to be turned over to his library after he leaves office. There is a precedent for that: Ronald Reagan's presidential library includes an old Air Force One as an exhibit for tourists to visit.

Tiffany Trump's baby son was born on an angel number… here's what it means

Last week, Tiffany Trump welcomed her first child, son Alexander Trump Boulos, with husband Michael Boulos at 4.44am on Thursday - and it turns out there's a secret meaning to his birthday. The new mom, 31, took to Instagram to make the announcement, sharing a black-and-white snapshot of the baby's foot, alongside a caption that read: 'Welcome to the world our sweet baby boy, Alexander Trump Boulos. 'We love you beyond words! Thank you for coming into our lives!' Baby Alexander was born at 4.44am, and according to The Palm Beach Post, '444' is considered to be an angel number, and many believe it is very lucky. For those who may be unfamiliar, angel numbers are recurring sequences, and many people equate a deeper spiritual meaning to them, a sign from those above that offer wisdom and direction. They range from 000 to 999, and each one has its own meaning and energy. You may see them in everyday places, like your total when checking out at the grocery store, or when you check your clock at work and see that it is '1.11pm' According to ELLE, who spoke with numerologist Felicia Bender, having an angel number of '444' has one major meaning, and it's that you must be 'prepared for success.' And, as a member of the Trump family, this would make sense for baby Alexander. Per the magazine, this specific angel number means that you need to be ready for your success in order to make the most out of it. The numerologist explained that typically, people will see the numbers '444' when they're feeling stressed out or feel like their life is in shambles. The number can be a good sign of bringing people back down to earth in these stressful moments, and to 'bring order to our chaos.' And per Cosmopolitan, having an angel number of 444 can also mean financial success. The magazine claimed that your 'cashflow will be steady' and your 'spending habits should remain moderate.' It can also be a powerful number when it comes to the afterlife, the outlet explained, as oftentimes, people who see '444' while thinking of a loved one who passed, it could be a 'loving message' from their side. With all of these meanings combined, it looks like Tiffany's baby boy has a successful and exciting future ahead of him. The newborn is Donald's 11th grandchild. His son, Donald Trump Jr. has five children, while daughter Ivanka Trump has three, and son Eric Trump has two. Tiffany publicly confirmed that she was expecting her first child in mid-December, months after her father announced it to the world. The President excitedly shared the news that he was going to become a grandfather again while speaking at the Detroit Economic Club back in October. He recognized several guests in the crowd, including businessman Massad Boulos, who is Tiffany's father-in-law, and then delivered the good news. 'He happens to be the father of Tiffany's husband, Michael, who's a very exceptional young guy,' said the President. 'And she's an exceptional young woman. And she's going to have a baby. So that's nice.' Last month, her sister, Ivanka, threw her a lavish Peter Rabbit-themed baby shower in Palm Beach, Florida. A radiant Tiffany was seen wore a stunning powder blue dress with short sleeves, which featured embellishments on the bust.
