Shaq and Mike Tyson debate Warriors legend Klay Thompson's future with Megan Thee Stallion
Klay Thompson has found himself in the tabloids far more than usual this summer. The Golden State Warriors legend and three-time Grammy Award winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion went public with their relationship, leading to plenty of discourse. International Boxing Hall of Famer Mike Tyson recently appeared on "The Big Podcast with Shaq", where he discussed the relationship with Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal. The two legends had a brief discussion on how long the couple will remain together. O'Neal kicked things off by predicting that they will hardly make it through the end of summer. "Six weeks," NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal stated. "The line is six weeks... Six weeks." "Listen, man, she got shot for that (expletive)," Boxing legend Mike Tyson claimed. "That might be lasting a long time. You know, six weeks ain't nothing. O'Neal did not reveal why he doesn't believe that the couple will last very long, however, it could be due to the nature of their careers. Tyson, however, sees things differently and believes that the Grammy Award winning rapper and the four-time NBA champion will be able to make things work for longer. Klay Thompson made the shocking decision to leave the Golden State Warriors last offseason, signing a three-year, $50 million contract with the Dallas Mavericks. As part of the "Splash Brothers" backcourt pairing with Stephen Curry, he helped lead the franchise to four championships in his 13 seasons with the organization -- two of which he missed entirely due to injury. Thompson was named to five All-Star teams, two All-NBA teams and one All-Defensive team during his tenure with the franchise. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest shooters of all-time as his 2,697 three-pointers made rank fifth all-time -- trailing only Curry, James Harden, Ray Allen and Damian Lillard. Curry is the only member of that group who has connected from distance at a higher percentage than Thompson, who has shot 41.1% from three-point range for his career. Despite all of his accomplishments, International Boxing Hall of Famer Mike Tyson has never heard of the Warriors legend. Mike Tyson pays poignant tribute to Malcolm-Jamal Warner after death at 54
Legendary heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson has paid tribute to Malcolm-Jamal Warner after the actor drowned in Costa Rica. His passing at the age of 54 was announced Monday, with the Costa Rican National Police saying Warner's body was discovered near a beach in the Limon province. Warner was best known for his iconic role as Theodore Huxtable, the only son of Cliff Huxtable, on the beloved NBC sitcom The Cosby Show. He appeared in all eight seasons from 1984 to 1992, earning widespread acclaim and becoming a household name. 'Sad to hear about Malcolm-Jamal Warner,' the 59-year-old Tyson wrote on X after the news broke. 'RIP to someone that has filled our homes with so much joy. Another reminder tomorrow isn't promised.' Tyson wasn't the only sports icon paying tribute to Warner - NBA great Magic Johnson was quick to remember the actor, too. The Lakers hero posted on X: 'Cookie (Johnson's wife) and I are sad to hear about the passing of our dear friend Malcolm-Jamal Warner. 'We were both super fans of the hit Cosby Show and continued to follow his career on shows like Malcolm and Eddie and The Resident. 'Every time I ran into Malcolm, we would have deep and fun conversations about basketball, life, and business. He will truly be missed. 'Cookie and I are praying his family and close friends during this difficult time.' At present, it is not known what caused Warner to drown but waters in Costa Rice can sometimes be dangerous. Warner is survived by his wife and young daughter, born in 2017. He has never revealed their identities.
