Meryl Streep and Selena Gomez recreating some Devil Wears Prada magic is the nostalgia kick you NEED!
First things first — Meryl Streep is returning for season 5 of Only Murders in the Building. What's more, the 'announcement' per se, was made via an unmissable Devil Wears Prada reference! In a video shared yesterday by Hulu and the official page of the drama series, the Oscar-winning actor made an appearance in a video alongside Selena Gomez to celebrate her comeback to the show. In the delightfully fun clip, the duo reenacted an iconic moment from The Devil Wears Prada (2006), in which Meryl played the career-defining (at least as per pop culture) Miranda Priestly. For reference, the scene is that of Miranda critiquing Andy Sachs —played by Anne Hathaway —for lacking any and all perceptible sense of style. The scene shows Andy beginning to reply but Miranda , very characteristically, cutting her off with a sharp, stinging remark about how she wasn't really asking a question, but instead making a statement. In Meryl and Selena's video, the latter curtly, in classic Miranda-style, says, "So you're returning for season 5". Meryl having switched places to spiritually play Andy, mimics Anne's response to a T by saying, "Well, I think that depends on—". She of course is cut off quite promptly by Selena who very coldly says, "No, no, that wasn't a question". A post shared by Only Murders in the Building (@onlymurdershulu) Want that last bit of punch? The caption to the post read, "Gird your loins, Meryl is returning for Season 5! That's all". Now tell us you didn't read that out in Nigel's nifty voice. Now while Only Murders in the Building and The Devil Wears Prada have no connection besides Meryl, it is worth mentioning here that the movie has been all over the news owing to an official sequel being in the works. The Devil Wears Prada 2, which already has Meryl and Emily Blunt set to return, is eyeing a May 1 release next year. Incidentally, this will be the first Friday of May 2026, just before the first Monday of May that year, which we all know, is Met Gala day. So, 'gird your loins' indeed!

A Full Recap And Analysis Of And Just Like That... Season 3, Episode 1
Spoilers below. Every season of And Just Like That… has felt like the start of a new chapter, but this season, it really feels like it. Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) has a new apartment, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) gave us closure, and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and the show as a whole, are done with Che. In fact, a few characters are missing from the season 3 opener, including Sara Ramirez's divisive stand-up comic, professor Nya (Karen Pittman), and Miranda's ex Steve (David Eigenberg). Maybe the show realized that there was too much going on, and that it needed to slim down its focus a bit. It's still outrageous, just a little less crammed. But some things still linger from past seasons, like Carrie and Aidan's situationship? You might recall that in the season 2 finale, the old lovers left things off on a confusing note: They are taking a five-year break while Aidan (John Corbett) tends to his family in Virginia. They're not supposed to see or talk to each other during that time, but they've been bending that rule by sending each other postcards. Carrie starts off the episode sending one with a vintage photo of Gramercy Park (her new neighborhood). How long can they make this arrangement last? Later that night, Miranda falls into an entanglement of her own during a night out at a lesbian bar. After braving an awkward run-in with her son's old babysitter and getting called a 'rando' by other patrons, she finds solace in another out-of-place guest named Mary (Rosie O'Donnell). She's in town visiting and is rather forward, inviting Miranda to her hotel room after exchanging only a few words, but what the heck, Miranda is into it. They go home together, but the next morning, Miranda is in for a few surprises: Their night together was the first time Mary had sex…with anyone…because she is a nun. A virgin nun? Oh, Miranda you've really outdone yourself. Meanwhile, the ever-glamorous Seema (Sarita Choudhury), whom I more and more each season, has her own crisis while trying to get in touch with her busy director boyfriend Ravi, who is filming on location in Egypt. She lights up a cigarette in bed and falls asleep waiting, nearly burning her apartment down. (On the bright side, the damage was only done to her hair. The down side? Damage was done to her hair.) She later vents to Carrie about it during a walk in Washington Square Park, but I'm sorry, I'm too distracted by Carrie's massive bonnet to register anything else. She looks like a very chic mushroom from Fantasia. Lisa (Nicole Ari Parker), on the other hand, seems to be making headway in her career. (Last season, she suffered a miscarriage and worried about not being able to balance motherhood and her professional life.) Her latest project is a documentary series about unsung Black women throughout history, like Bessie Coleman, the first Black woman to earn a pilot license. It seems to be going well, but her producers seem more interested in including a bigger name—like Michelle Obama. Lisa is confused. Isn't this series supposed to be about unsung women rather than a very famous first lady? She acquiesces but feels her vision is being compromised. After Carrie accidentally slips and falls in her new home (it's big enough to run around in) Miranda comes over to debrief about her night with Sister Mary, using some delightful wordplay. 'You deflowered the Virgin Mary,' Carrie points out. Mary's too clingy and keeps texting Miranda, but she wants to end it. 'Can I ghost a nun?' she asks. 'It would be a holy ghost,' Carrie responds. Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is unfortunately stuck in this episode dealing with dog drama. Her bulldog, Mr. Burton, is accused of attacking a Chihuahua at the park, which sends her spiraling looking for a new dog walker and doggy daycare. In the end, she finds out that Burton was wrongly accused because the woman making the claim has bad eyesight. (Go figure!) Charlotte's daughter Lilly (Cathy Ang), however, is treated to a little bit of romance this week when she, Carrie, and Anthony (Mario Cantone) get exclusive invites to a ballet dress rehearsal at Lincoln Center. She has a crush on one of the dancers, and she nearly falls out of her seat watching him pirouette. While she ogles at her crush, there are some tensions between Carrie and Anthony as he judges the state of her relationship with Aidan. How can she be with him if she doesn't know when (or if!) he's coming back to New York? Aidan does return to our screens in this episode—but not to the Big Apple just yet—when he calls Carrie from his Virginia home, slightly drunk. Their flirty conversation turns into phone sex, but Carrie gets cold feet when she realizes her cat, Shoe, is staring her down from across the room. As Aidan finishes on the other end of the line, Carrie pretends that she does too. At least one long distance couple reunites: Seem and Ravi. The director arrives home surprisingly early and pampers Seema with a cascading bouquet of flowers and a reservation at Jean-Georges, but there's a catch: They have to go location-scouting for his film first…with his crew. Though he promises they'll make their lunch reservation, they go over-time, and Seema is fed up. Ravi 'lost track of time and on me,' she tells him. She calls a black car and leaves him in a movie-worthy exit. The rest of the ladies gather at Harlem's Red Rooster for Herbert's (Christopher Jackson), campaign event. (Lisa's husband is running for city comptroller, if you needed a reminder.) Though he's been spending a majority of the episode trying to be 'cool,' he succumbs to his charmingly uncool hobbies and performs with his college a cappella group. (A great excuse for to get the Hamilton alum to sing onscreen.) While staying true to himself, Herbert encourages Lisa to do the same with her docuseries and stay true to her vision. She's all ears until she realizes their event planner has a connection to The White House. Could he be her in with the Obamas? Miranda also can't help but go with her gut when Mary asks to meet in Times Square by the M&M store. (She gifts her a bag of the candies—M&M for Mary and Miranda!) She feels bad for the nun, but she also doesn't want to lead her on. 'Don't leave God for me,' she pleads. Mary shrugs all that off; of course she wouldn't leave God, she says, she's married to him. On a more sentimental note, Mary explains that Miranda helped her explore a side of herself that was always within her, waiting to be uncovered. Fresh off of watching a performance of Wicked, she takes Miranda's hands and sings, 'Because I knew you, I have been changed for good.' Carrie also comes clean when she calls Aidan that night, confessing that she faked her orgasm over the phone during their last conversation, but she's willing to give it another go. Unfortunately, it's not a good time for Aidan, who's in bed with his son. This five-year, long-distance break is going to be harder than Carrie thought. She gets out of bed and returns to the thing she knows best: writing. She opens her laptop and begins typing (with her signature narration), 'The woman wondered what she had gotten herself into.' The pair meet at a lesbian bar, before heading back to Mary's hotel room where they then have sex. Advertisement 7 'And Just Like That…' Season 3 premiere. As he sits in his car in Virginia, she is distracted by her cat back in Manhattan. And she inevitably gets interrupted when Aidan accidentally hits the horn of his vehicle. 'My goodness,' Carrie says. Later on, over cocktails, Carrie admits that she faked it. 'And now I feel dishonest,' she sighed. 7 Cynthia Nixon and Rosie O'Donnell in 'And Just Like That..' Season 3 of the 'Sex and the City' spinoff, which also stars Kristin Davis, Nicole Ari Parker and Sarita Choudhury, will see a slew of guest stars, including Patti LuPone, Logan Marshall Green and 'Law & Order' actor Mehcad Brooks. 7 Season 3 of 'And Just Like That.' HBO Brooks, 44, will have his own love story play out while working opposite Parker, 54. 'One of the highlights of my career is that I get to act across from Nicole Ari Parker,' the star gushed. 'I've known her for 20 years, we've worked together before – but never in this way.' Brooks added, 'She's just a joy to be around, I'm learning so much.' Sharing details about his character, Marion Odin, the 'Desperate Housewives' alum said he is 'an award-winning editor of films and documentaries and kind of a spiritual guy. He's funny and goofy and just the kind of guy who is really helpful and earnest but also will do anything for a laugh.' Advertisement 7 Season 3 'And Just Like That.' HBO Brooks teased: 'That's kind of who I am, anyway.' Without giving too much away, the actor did note that his relationship with Parker's Lisa — who is married — gets 'humorously cloudy.'

Northrop Grumman Raises $1 Billion Via Debt
Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC), in an exchange filing, said that on May 29, it had issued $1 billion in new senior notes, split evenly between two tranches maturing in 2030 and 2035. The notes, carrying interest rates of 4.650% and 5.250% respectively, were issued on May 29 under an amended and restated indenture. The securities were sold through an underwriting agreement involving Mizuho Securities USA, Goldman Sachs & Co., and Morgan Stanley & Co. as lead company intends to use the net proceeds for various activities, including repayment of existing debt, share repurchases, and working capital. For debt repayment, the company release specifically mentioned the 7.875% and 7.750% senior notes due in 2026. This suggests a strategy to refinance higher-interest debt with the new, lower-interest notes, potentially reducing future interest expenses. As of March 31, 2025, the company held long-term debt (net of current portion) of $14.17 billion. In a separate announcement, the company revealed a $50 million equity investment in Firefly Aerospace, further solidifying its partnership to develop a next-generation medium-lift launch vehicle named Eclipse. This collaborative spacecraft blends the engineering strengths of Northrop Grumman's Antares and Firefly's Alpha rockets. The Eclipse system will offer the capacity to deliver approximately 16 metric tons to low Earth orbit and over three metric tons to geosynchronous transfer orbit. Its modular design integrates heritage components from the Antares line alongside enhanced avionics, a larger 5.4-meter fairing, and upgraded propulsion systems including Firefly's Miranda engines. To date, over 60 hot fire tests have been completed on the Miranda engines, with critical qualification hardware already in fabrication. The vehicle is slated for its first launch as early as 2026 from Wallops Island, Virginia. Executives from both firms praised the alliance. Jason Kim, CEO of Firefly Aerospace, called the partnership 'first-of-its-kind,' emphasizing its potential to transform the launch market. Wendy Williams, VP and GM of Northrop's launch systems unit, highlighted Eclipse's affordability and scalability for civil and security applications. Northrop invests $50m in Firefly Aerospace to advance Eclipse launch vehicle
The vehicle is being built on a hybrid foundation that draws from Northrop Grummans Antares platform and Fireflys Alpha rocket technology. Northrop Grumman Corporation has invested $50m into Firefly Aerospace to further advance production of their co-developed medium launch vehicle, now known as Eclipse. The companies continue to make progress in the development of Eclipse flight hardware, with qualification testing underway and more than 60 Miranda engine hot fire tests performed to date. Jason Kim, CEO of Firefly Aerospace, said: 'Firefly is incredibly grateful for Northrop Grummans investment that further solidifies our first-of-its-kind partnership to build the first stage of Antares 330 and jointly develop Eclipse. Eclipse represents two powerful forces coming together to transform the launch market with decades of flight heritage, a rapid, iterative approach, and bold innovation. With a 16 metric ton to orbit capability, Eclipse is a sweet spot for programs like NSSL Lane 1 and a natural fit to launch proliferated constellations in LEO, MEO, GEO and TLI.' Built upon Northrop Grummans Antares and Fireflys Alpha rocket, Eclipse offers a significant leap in power, performance, production cadence and payload capacity. The launch vehicle retains the flight-proven avionics from the Antares programme with additional upgrades, including a larger 5.4 meter payload fairing. Eclipse also utilises the same first stage Firefly is developing for Antares 330 and retains scaled-up versions of Alphas propulsion systems and carbon composite structures, allowing the team to rapidly build and test Eclipse with significant production efficiencies and economies of scale. Firefly utilised the same patented tap-off cycle architecture from Alphas Reaver and Lightning engines for Eclipses Miranda and Vira engines, and completed mission duty cycle with a 206 second Miranda hot fire, matching the longest time the engine will burn during a flight. Following several development test campaigns, flight hardware has been manufactured for the common dome propellant tanks, engine bay and interstage. Wendy Williams, Vice President and General Manager, Launch and Missile Defense Systems, Northrop Grumman, added: 'Eclipse gives customers the right balance between payload capacity and affordability. Our partnership with Firefly builds on our capacity to provide crucial spaced-based communication, observation, and exploration for civil and national security customers.' Filling a void in an underserved market, Eclipse is equipped to deliver 16,300 kg of cargo to low Earth orbit or 3,200 kg of cargo to geosynchronous transfer orbit. Eclipse will first launch from Wallops Island, Virginia, as early as 2026 and is able to support space station resupply, commercial spacecraft, critical national security missions and scientific payloads for the domestic and international markets.
