The actress, 44, took to her Instagram on Tuesday to share a stunning snap of her lounging by the pool as she soaked in the sunshine among the tropical foliage She appeared on the podcast in March where she opened up on how she believes travel unveils a feeling of insignificance that can really shift your perspective on life. The Mobland star revealed that after the collapse of her marriage five years ago, she checked into a £1,500 transcendental meditation retreat in Australia. Joanne was married to James Cannon for nearly eight years until their split in February 2020, which she has said threw her life 'in flux'. She said she was inspired to take a solo visit to Soma Byron Bay just after the split, by watching the TV series Nine Perfect Strangers starring Nicole Kidman. Speaking to travel industry expert Tanya Rose, she recalled: 'I booked this retreat and it was an introduction to Ayurvedic meditation - some people call it transcendental meditation. 'Oh my goodness, it blew my mind. It was incredible. I went on my own. ' Byron Bay is just the most stunning place anyway, it's so beautiful. The beaches are amazing, it's a very lush, tropical landscape. It's just gorgeous.' The boutique 'wellness' getaway boasts a geodesic dome, an outdoor cinema, a swimming pool and a fire pit and was used for the filming of Nine Perfect Strangers in 2020. Joanne said she booked a transcendental meditation retreat that coincided with a job she had booked in Australia in 2022 after becoming 'obsessed' with the location when watching the show. The Liar star, who now has a nine-month-old daughter with her new partner, Mark Turner, gushed over the unique retreat and how she bonded with the other travellers. She explained: 'You rock up and there's a group of people there and there's Ayurvedic food for you. It was either couples of single people and you don't know anyone. You just spend this very intense but calm two and a half days together. 'It was such an incredible experience - not only learning the meditation technique, because I found that really powerful. 'Did I keep it up? No. I did for a while and it's a great tool to go back to and I wish I kept it up more. Joanne was married to James Cannon for nearly eight years until their split in February 2020, which she has said threw her life 'in flux' (pictured together in 2018) 'But what was so incredible about it was the setting was stunning, all of that just completely lived up to expectation - and some.' She went on: 'But it was just having that experience of being a solo traveller with a group of people that you didn't know and how we bonded and shared stories and went through this experience together and shared so much of our lives in conversation. 'And that to me is the magic of travelling anywhere. You could be on a bus in wherever it may be, you could be in a lovely meditation retreat in Byron Bay, but really what makes it is the people you meet and the people you're thrown in with and that you have these experiences with. 'It really brought it home. It was just such a magical couple of days away from the world. We saw a koala that lives in the forestry around there and there were just these really special quiet moments that felt really magical.'

Huge twist in Mobland finale guarantees second series, say fans – despite backlash over Pierce Brosnan's accent
Actor Pierce Brosnan's Irish accent was criticised, but an epic final episode has proven why the Paramount+ show needs to return clever plot Huge twist in Mobland finale guarantees second series, say fans – despite backlash over Pierce Brosnan's accent Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A HUGE twist in the finale of Guy Ritchie's Mobland series has guaranteed a second series, according to fans. Fans think this cliffhanger ending proves why the show must return - to find out whether he survives. Sharing various thoughts on how series two will play out, one said: "I saw a post about the ending being bad and Harry getting stabbed being a way for Tom Hardy to leave, but I feel like what followed after the stabbing was kind of a wink that nothing is going to happen to him. "Harry is definitely the cherry on top of the cake and the showrunners are not oblivious to that. "If the show has a season 2, Harry will be in there and he would've survived." Someone else added: "After enjoying the S1 finale, it appears we have our new antagonists to go up against Harry and Kevin: Kat and Eddie in series two. "Eddie is more f****d up than we thought! Choking your own mother to death is pretty heinous. "Before the finale, I would have said Eddie's too weak/cowardly to even be mentioned in the same breath as Kat McAllister. But seeing his venomous attempts to kill his mother, I think Kat and Eddie will find their way onto some kind of team together. I think Eddie wants to destroy every Harrigan now." Another said: "Lowkey wish Conrad and Maeve could just be gone from season 2 and they would focus on Kat and if anything Eddie only. And Seraphina perhaps as an antagonist as well working with Kat." MobLand – Season 1 Episode 10 Recap, Review & Ending Explained
The Beast In Me Episode 10 of Mobland begins with Kevin surrounded by spatters of blood while he rants to Rusby's dead body about his messy life. He's known about Bella and her connection to Conrad for a while, along with the truth about Eddie's parentage. It's here we get confirmation that his father is Conrad, not Kevin. He's tried hard to keep everything together but it's all become too much for him and something had to give. Who is the mole? Harry shows up and reunites with Kevin, while he brings his guys in to clean the place up and dispose of Rusby's body. They eventually drive down to the dock, where Harry is waiting for O'hara. It turns out she's the real mole of the family. She's been working with Richie for over a year, topped up on fentanyl and whispering secrets to the enemy. Through her answers, Harry realizes she's not the only one giving Richie info, given she never mentioned the situation involving Archie or what went down in Antwerp. Richie does trust her though so Harry uses her to get to him and end this war before it's too late. Harry lets her go and promises to call her, leaving O'hara dumbfounded as she walks away. With Conrad and Maeve in prison, it's coming down to crunch time. One of these families – the Harrigans or the Stevensons – could well be running the entire game when this is all said and done so they need to move quickly. Kevin shows up to see Conrad while he's behind bars and tells him O'hara is their rat. He also goes on to tell Conrad that he's making big changes and is going to reshape the Harrigan name in his own image as head of the family. Conrad scoffs and jokes about, but Kevin is being deadly serious here. Does Eddie learn the truth? At the same time, Maeve speaks to Eddie and encourages him to kill Harry then go after Seraphina. From behind this glass, she has far less influence than before – but her tongue is still razor sharp. When she suggests that she and Eddie be King and Queen, she reveals that Conrad is his real father. Eddie heads back to see Bella next and after cursing his mum out, demands that he be taken seriously and not be lied to anymore. Now, interestingly this chat occurs just after Bella checks the news, where her father is reeling after recordings of his illicit dealings have been made public. Bella apologizes to Eddie for what happened with Conrad but unfortunately, EddIe has heard enough. He chokes her out and almost kills her… until Harry's guys stop him with a swift punch to the gut. What happens to Alice? Meanwhile, Kat phones Seraphina and suggests they broker a deal together and discuss the future. She's interested to hear more, while Alice and Colin close out their deal… with a catch. Colin double-crosses Alice and has his men drug her and take her away, working with Richie and giving him the all-clear to press ahead. It seems like everything has been resolved… but there's a wildcard here. Harry rings O'hara and gives her a plan to follow. It's quite straightforward and involves Richie believing he's in charge when in reality, he's playing right into Kevin and Harry's hands. Does the plan go ahead? Richie's men show up at O'hara's office waiting for Harry… but without Paul O'Donnell. He hangs back and eventually hits the trigger, blowing the office up and all of Richie's men with it. Another group arrive at the safehouse, who are also hit, while the remaining Harrigans rush through the woods. As for Harry and Kevin, they show up at Richie's bar, where Kevin doesn't hesitate, shooting O'hara and then Richie. Harry and Kevin also uncover the recording of the planted evidence from inside Alice's car, which Kevin and Harry can use to get Conrad and Maeve out. They intend to let them hang for a bit first, while Colin shows up with the police at Richie's pub and sees the devastation for himself. Does Harry leave with Kat? Harry shows up to see Kat, who makes him an offer. She wants to take out all the Harrigans in one fell swoop and needs his intel to make that happen. If he doesn't play ball, then Kat will end up an enemy. Harry tells her to go fuck herself and walks away, loyal to the Harrigans until the end. Back at the Harrigan estate, Bella speaks to Kevin about the future. He wants her by his side and she goes on to admit she's known about his nightmares and the ordeal inside the prison for a long time. He talks in his sleep and she's put the pieces together. Bella understands what he's going through, admitting that her father raped her for years as a child, going some way to explain exactly why she wanted to take revenge. Bella promises to be by his side and this heart to heart works well to solidify their ties together. How does Mobland season 1 end? Meanwhile, Harry reunites with Gina and Jan. It's far less warm than the reunion we just saw, as they wind up arguing together about the future and what's been happening. Jan lashes out with the knife and winds up stabbing him right in the chest. Harry shrugs it off and sits down, with the knife still in his chest, joking that she has his full attention now. As for Conrad, he's the big man in campus at the prison and revels in the applause as he looks set to reclaim his empire, bringing this season to an end. The Episode Review So Mobland bows out with a pulsating and satisfying finale, closing out the Richie saga with a lot of action and a clever little plan to take him down. It seemed obvious that O'hara would sell him short and thus, that's what happens here. The episode goes out of its way to try and subvert expected tropes, like the delayed explosion from outside by Paul or the hostage situation where Kevin and Harry simply just shoot and kill them both. There's a lot of foundational work done ready for a potential second season too, with both Seraphina and Kevin vowing to make their move as head of the family. Given what we've seen, I wouldn't be surprised if Seraphina teams up with Kat, setting up a separate faction, while the in-house fighting between Kevin and Conrad looks set to implode the family once more. Harry decides he's loyal until the end and the moment involving Jan and the knife is a clever way of portraying how the only person who can properly hurt Harry is his wife, whom he cares for deeply. Eddie is still a loose cannon though and after nearly killing his mum, could well prove to be a big problem next season. All that being said, this is a solid finale and a great watch overall. Previous Episode Expect A Full Season Write-Up When This Season Concludes!
