Egypt's Culture Minister Attends Moroccan Throne Day Celebration in Cairo
Ali abo deshish Dr. Ahmed Fouad Henno, Egypt's Minister of Culture, participated in the celebration hosted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Cairo, marking the 26th anniversary of King Mohammed VI's ascension to the throne. He attended on behalf of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, alongside a distinguished gathering of officials, diplomats, and cultural and artistic figures from Egypt and across the region. In his remarks, the Minister emphasized the deep-rooted historical ties between Egypt and Morocco, built on mutual respect and constructive cooperation—especially in cultural fields, which he described as vital bridges between nations. 'What unites Egypt and Morocco is a shared civilizational and human heritage, reflecting a unique convergence in values and visions. This occasion celebrates the Moroccan people's loyalty to their leadership and the nation's ongoing developmental achievements under King Mohammed VI,' said Dr. Henno. He also highlighted Egypt's appreciation for its close relationship with Morocco and stressed the importance of expanding cultural and artistic collaboration in the face of shared regional challenges. Moroccan Ambassador to Egypt, H.E. Mohamed Ait Ali, expressed his pleasure at the minister's presence, noting it reflects the strength of Moroccan-Egyptian relations.
