Shehnaaz Gill's brother Shehbaz Badesha in the running for Bigg Boss 19; audience to decide if he will join Salman Khan-hosted show
Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19 is set to premiere in just 10 days. While the official contestant lineup remains under wraps, the makers have revealed two names in contention: actor Shehnaaz Gill's brother, Shehbaz Badesha, and YouTube creator Mridul Tiwari. Only one of them will secure a spot on the show, and the audience will get to make that call. Between Shehbaz and Mridul, the contestant with the highest audience votes will enter the Bigg Boss 19 house. Talking about the same, Shehbaz said in a video on Instagram, 'I appeared in Bigg Boss 13, and you showered me with a lot of love. What if this time I come on the show as a housemate? Shehbaz had appeared in Bigg Boss 13 during the family week, when his sister Shehnaaz Gill was participating in the show. Shehnaaz also supported her brother by reposting his voting link on her Instagram story and said, 'You can vote 99 times.' Bigg Boss is set to make a comeback with its 19th season, and fans are excited to watch the show. The show is set to premiere on 24th August, and the makers have shared a new promo unveiling some of the latest updates. Through its special contest Fans Ka Faisla, this one-of-a-kind initiative places the power directly in the hands of the audience, transforming them from passive viewers into active participants in shaping the course of the show. Two shortlisted contenders will compete for a single spot: Shehbaz Badesha, the charismatic and quick-witted brother of Bigg Boss alumnus Shehnaaz Gill, and Mridul Tiwari, one of India's most-followed YouTubers and creator of the widely popular comedy channel The MriDul, with over 18 million subscribers. For the first time ever, a contestant's journey will begin entirely through fan votes, making viewers an integral part of the selection process. In a house where every move matters, this season truly belongs to the people. Speaking about the unique fan-driven format, Shehbaz Badesha said, 'Last time I came in for a short spin, bas ek chhota sa jhalak dikhaya tha, but this time, main pura season ka tadka ban ke jaaunga. I've been part of Bigg Boss before, but always from the sidelines—either cheering for my sister Shehnaz or visiting as a guest. This time, it's different… this time, it could be MY journey. I'm not just a 'celebrity sibling'; I'm someone who's been underestimated and overlooked. I know the kind of energy I bring—unfiltered, unpredictable, and unapologetically Punjabi. I'm not here to play safe or be everyone's best friend. I'm here to shake things up and give people something to talk about. The best part is that the audience gets to decide if I even step inside. I promise to make this season as entertaining as Shehnaz's season was. If you want someone who won't play it safe, vote Shehbaz.' Sharing his excitement about the opportunity, Mridul Tiwari said, 'Bigg Boss isn't just a show—it's a proving ground, and I have been ready for this fight for years. I am ready to bring my wit, my game, and an unfiltered version of who I am. I am not someone who blends into the background; rather, I believe in taking a stand, facing challenges head-on, and competing with power. No hiding, no sugar-coating—just real competition. Ultimately, the audience will decide who deserves to stay, and I trust them to recognise authenticity when they see it. I am ready to give my all, and with a fan-powered brotherhood by my side, let's make it happen and win this together.'

YouTuber's Lamborghini Huracan Crashes, Injuring Two
Read the full story on Backfire News An allegedly speeding Lamborghini Huracan owned by popular YouTuber Mridul Tiwari crashed in Noida, India on March 30, injuring two day laborers. Now people want answers as many in India feel outraged that the flagrant abuse of wealth and power could have killed to a report published on NDTV, Mridul Tiwari wasn't behind the wheel of the supercar at the time. Instead, an individual named Deepak was taking it for a test drive. We guess that means Tiwari was interested in selling the Lambo. Now the Italian supercar is a wreck and it's in the middle of a growing legal fiasco, not to mention a public relations nightmare. No matter how you cut it, Tiwari has a tarnished image, simply because it was his vehicle. Plus, the Huracan is in the police impound as evidence in the whole crash. It remains to be seen what the fate of the supercar is, but some Indians seem to think a fitting punishment is that it's crushed. That's a little harsh in our book considering the Lambo didn't do anything wrong. Reportedly, the two victims are in the hospital with some serious injuries. Both will need surgery to repair damage from the collision, with weeks if not months of recovery ahead of them. At least neither was killed and from the sound of things, hopefully aren't permanently disabled. For now, Deepak is out on bail. It remains to be seen what his fate will be. Once the court sorts through the accusations of speeding and reckless driving as well as the evidence, the man will either be exonerated or be given a sentence which probably won't be harsh enough for some people.
