Custody granted to mom despite age of children
KUWAIT CITY, June 10: The Family Court (Jaafari Circuit) ruled to grant a Kuwaiti woman the custody of her children, despite the children having reached the age at which custody is typically transferred to the father. The decision was based on the father's physical abuse of the children. The court also rejected the custody lawsuit filed by the father. Attorney Muhammad Safar submitted the request to transfer custody from his client's ex-husband to his client and sought a ruling requiring the father to pay two types of alimony - food and clothing - as well as nursery, housing rent, and furnishing expenses.

Cheating Kuwaiti man asked to divorce his wife
KUWAIT CITY, May 13: The Family Court has issued a ruling compelling a Kuwaiti man to divorce his Kuwaiti wife and granting her custody of their children. The court issued its ruling after confirming that the man suffered from sexual dysfunction caused by excessive use of hormones intended for muscle building, in addition to his repeated acts of infidelity. Lawyer Muhammad Safar, who represented the woman, filed for divorce on the grounds of harm and sought custody of the children. He presented evidence proving the defendant's sexual dysfunction due to continuous hormone use, along with multiple documented instances of infidelity. These included content shared on social media, where the husband frequently displayed his physique and engaged in inappropriate relationships with several women.
