Lionel Messi spotted wearing '$2m' watch on Inter Miami sidelines... and there's only 10 of them in the world!
Though he wasn't able to play in Inter Miami's most recent match, Lionel Messi still caught attention as he stepped out in a luxury Rolex watch reportedly worth $2m. The former Barcelona and PSG star was suspended for Miami's clash against FC Cincinatti - along with defender Jordi Alba - after missing the MLS All-Star game. The MLS later announced their one-match ban for the Miami duo, who were then forced to watch from the sidelines as the side was held to a 0-0 draw on Saturday. However, eagled-eyed fans noted that Messi wore an incredibly rare - and expensive - luxury watch as he sat in the dugout at the Chase Stadium. Messi stepped out in the Rolex Daytona 'Barbie' for the game and, though there is no official price tag, valuations have ranged from $800,000 to $2million. Watch aficionados have also noted that there are just 10 of them in the world that exist, which makes the time piece an even more lucrative asset. The Daytona has become one of Rolex's most iconic and legendary chronograph's and the 'Barbie' variant is one that is seldom seen in public. Actor Mark Wahlberg has previously been spotted wearing the model at the start of the year, in one of the first sightings of the rare Rolex variant. Despite owning one of the rarest watches in the world, Messi is evidently not keen to overuse it and was not spotted with the time piece whilst at a recent Coldplay concert. Messi and his wife Antonella were seen in attendance at the gig in Miami on Sunday night, where they were shown on the venue's 'kiss cam'. Messi, 38, was seen attending the show at the Hard Rock Stadium with his wife and children on the final night of Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour in the United States. At one point in the concert, he and Antonella were spotted on the band's 'kiss cam' as they waved while smiling to the crowd. The couple avoided becoming embroiled in a controversial incident, unlike Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, who were caught with their arms around one another - before trying to avoid the camera on July 15 - in an incident that since went viral. Messi, meanwhile, was left 'extremely upset' by his recent one match ban, according to Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas. Messi, 38, was also seen attending the show at the Hard Rock Stadium with his wife and children on the final night of Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour in the United States 'The reaction was exactly as expected out of two competitive players who don't understand the decision, who don't understand why not attending an exhibition leads directly to a suspension,' he said. 'The rule is what it is, but they don't understand it. I think that the punishment for the role is frankly draconian. 'I'm hopeful that it doesn't have an impact long-term. Will it have an impact initially, in the players' perception of how the league rules work? Absolutely no doubt.'

See who showed up on the ‘kiss cam' at the Coldplay concert at Hard Rock
No scandals detected. As Coldplay took the stage for its Music of the Spheres World Tour on Sunday night at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, all eyes were on the jumbotron. That's because earlier this month, during the band's concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, the so-called Kiss Cam snagged a cozy-looking couple who immediately ducked out of sight when they realized they were up on the massive screen. Martin joked that the mortified pair was either 'shy' or 'having an affair.' The latter scenario turned to be true. The man was Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, married with two kids. The woman, his top HR executive Kristin Cabot, is also married. After Byron and Cabot's cringey moment was exposed on the Internet, they generated countless memes — and also left their jobs at the AI tech company. When Martin addressed the crowd on Sunday, the giant camera panned around and smartly singled out a few famous folks with nothing to hide. In one section, as seen in a fan's cellphone video, a group of Florida Panthers was seen wilding with their Stanley Cup in tow. The singer reported that he'd met the back-to-back champs before the show and said he was 'proud' of his 'brothers,' then began serenading them with his signature, soulful voice. 'Where in Miami, on earth, do you keep ice?' Martin joked a cappella, adding, 'I'd like to know because I'm [bleeping] boiling.' The pop star continued his cheeky monologue as the camera then locked on two other VIPs, Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, as the crowd chanted the soccer legend's name. The Brit is obviously a fan, calling the Inter Miami forward 'the number one sports person of all time.' FYI: The Argentine baller wasn't behind Roccuzzo in the same Byron Cabot-esque clutch, but side by side. We're thinking they may not even know about the Foxborough debacle, and we are so here for it.

Lionel Messi, wife have Coldplay ‘kiss cam' concert moment after controversial MLS suspension
Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, had a scandal free Jumbotron experience at a Coldplay concert on Sunday after his MLS suspension. The Inter Miami captain — who served a one-match ban by MLS against FC Cincinnati on Saturday for missing last week's All-Star Game in Austin, Texas — and the model took in the concert with their three children from at private suite at Hard Rock Stadium, as seen in Instagram photos the couple shared. Messi, 38, and Roccuzzo, 37, were all smiles and greeted with cheers from the crowd in Miami as they were blasted on Coldplay's now famous 'kiss cam.' Advertisement It went a lot smoother than the viral 'kiss cam' moment at Coldplay's concert at Gillette Stadium a few weeks prior, when former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was caught on camera with Kristin Cabot, the company's HR executive, on July 16. Both Bryon and Cabot, who are married, resigned from their respective positions after the public fallout from the video — which showed them ducking and hiding from the camera as Coldplay singer Chris Martin speculated 'they're having an affair' on the mic. Inter Miami said it was their decision, and not the players', to have them sit out of the All-Star Game last Wednesday due to health. The team informed the league that Messi and Alba would not attend the All-Star Game after playing nine matches in the past 36 days. MLS commissioner Don Garber said the league 'take a hard look at the policy moving forward,' adding 'I'm committed to working with our players to determine how the rule should evolve.' Messi's contract with Inter Miami expires after the 2025 season.

Who Is Lionel Messi's Wife? All About Model Antonela Roccuzzo
Hello, you, person who makes soccer your entire personality once every four years when the World Cup rolls around. We're here to talk about Lionel Messi and his wife, model Antonela Roccuzzo, who just became the latest couple to blow up after appearing on Coldplay's infamous kiss cam (but, like, for a good reason). The two got a special shout-out during Coldplay's final U.S. show on their Music of the Spheres World Tour on July 27—and if you, like many fans, are saying, 'Messi is married???' then we're here to catch you up to speed. Starting with: Lionel and Antonela have known each other since they were kids thanks to Antonela being the cousin of Lionel's childhood bestie (and fellow soccer player) Lucas Scaglia. They even grew up in the same hometown of Rosario, Argentina—and while Lionel ended up moving away to Barcelona to pursue his soccer career, they stayed in touch throughout their teen years. Lionel even reportedly flew back home to support Antonela in 2005 when her best friend tragically died in a car accident. These two were pretty private and low-key in the early days of their relationship, though they did get papped a lot, usually while Lionel was wearing a speedo: They eventually went public in the mid-aughts and it's been non-stop cuteness ever since. And since being officially official, they've occasionally given fans cute BTS pics of the early days in their 'ship. Prepare for your heart to skip several beats: On top of being held at a luxury hotel in their home city of Rosario, there were some major A-list guests including Luis Suárez, Gerard Piqué, and Shakira. All boys, named Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro. While Antonela doesn't speak to the media much, Lionel chatted to FC Barcelona about fatherhood and his family, saying, "You grow and you learn. You gather experience in all aspects of life, on and off the field. But, as a human being, having three children changed my perspective on life, my way of thinking and it also helped me grow." She has worked with brands including Stella McCartney, Adidas, and most recently Alo. But she's been modeling for years. Here she is signing a modeling contract allll the way back in 2016! Before taking her relationship with Messi public, Antonela attended the National University of Rosario and studied dentistry as well as social communication. But she eventually moved to Barcelona to support Lionel and have cute moments like this: Antonela is extremely supportive of Lionel's career and rarely misses his games. So yes, obviously she was there for his 2022 FIFA World Cup win! As he put it to FC Barcelona, "I really admire how she deals with the day to day, she is always in a good mood and she approaches problems admirably. She is highly intelligent and well rounded in all aspects of life." Cool, excited for these two to join the Beckhams and the Federers as sporty couples we're obsessed with!

Florida Panthers players show off Stanley Cup at Coldplay concert
It's always fun when sports and art combine. On Sunday in South Florida, one such of those situations played out in a very public way. Last weekend, globally popular band Coldplay brought their Music of the Spheres World Tour to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Much of the attention surrounding the band and their tour has come from the viral video showing the married CEO of Astronomer and one of his employees in a romantic brace during a 'kiss cam' segment at a concert in Massachusetts earlier this month. There was no such drama at either of this weekend's shows in South Florida. Instead, it was a couple of fun surprise guest appearances that had concertgoers excited at what they saw on Sunday. Several members of the Florida Panthers were in attendance on Sunday, and they brought a special friend: the Stanley Cup. At one point during the show, a group of Panthers that included Aaron Ekblad, Seth Jones, Gus Forsling were put on the giant video monitors inside the stadium. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin even made a joke during segment, as Ekblad was drinking something from the Cup while it was behind held by Jones. 'Okay, please don't drive home,' Martin joked before starting to sing a Panthers-themed song. 'Well hello, the beautiful Panthers. I hope that you're all feeling really nice. I've got a question for you, please can you tell me true, where in Miami, on Earth, do you keep ice?' During the song, Ekblad was seen showing off Forsling's shaped abs while the latter lifted the Cup above his head. Also spotted inside the suite were Panthers General Manager Bill Zito and VP of Player Engagement Mike Huff. The Panthers weren't the only ones to get a giant cheer from the crowd, as international soccer superstar Lionel Messi was also in the house. Messi, who plays for Inter Miami CF, gave fans a smile and wave when he and his wife were shown on the monitors. It was a relatively quick visit to South Florida for the Cup, which was also in the Keys with Zito over the weekend. It will be flying back to Canada on Monday where it will join Panthers forward Jonah Gadjovich for his special day with the historic trophy on Tuesday in his hometown of Whitby, Ontario.
