South Africa have one point from a 1-1 draw with Algeria and need a win to keep their chances alive. Head coach Molefi Ntseki said, 'We know we have to push ourselves beyond our limits.' Captain Keagan Dolly added, 'We analysed what we did wrong and we're going to fix it. Our focus is to maintain consistency, stay concentrated, and try to create goal opportunities because every goal will count.'
Guinea come into the match after a 3-0 defeat to Uganda but remain confident. Coach Souleymane Camara said, 'Our objective is still alive.' Midfielder Mahamed Madani Diarra said, 'We must react and overcome the bad moment. We are here to represent Guinea and will do our best to win the game.'
Algeria lead Group C with four points, followed by Uganda and Guinea on three, South Africa on one, and Niger with none.
Ntseki warned about Guinea's key players, saying, 'They have players capable of causing problems at any moment.' Camara has kept his starting line-up undisclosed but said, 'We are prepared and motivated to face the expected difficulties.'
Only the top two teams advance. Defeat could end the tournament for either side, while a win keeps qualification hopes alive.
