Meeting between Gurumurthy, Duraisamy, Ramadoss personal, no BJP connection: TN BJP president
COIMBATORE: The meeting between auditor S Gurumurthy and former Chennai Corporation Mayor Saidai S Duraisamy held with PMK leader S Ramadoss on Thursday, was a personal meeting and the BJP had nothing to do with it, said BJP state president Nainar Nagenthran. Nagenthran visited Erode on Thursday to pay condolences to BJP Modakurichi MLA Dr C Saraswathi's daughter Karunambika Kumar and met media persons at Coimbatore airport. He said that the issue within PMK is an internal issue and it cannot be commented about in public. They should resolve personal issues between PMK leader S Ramadoss and his son Anbumani Ramadoss,' Nainar Nagenthran said. He also said that all parties should come together peacefully to oppose the DMK, and TVK leader Vijay has also been invited to participate. He expressed condolences over the deaths of 11 persons in a stampede in Bengaluru, and said the Karnataka government's failure to organise the event properly was the reason. Nagenthran also said that up to Rs 400 crore for the procurement of paddy from Delta farmers has not been disbursed and the DMK government must protect all farmers in Tamil Nadu. He criticised the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu and questioned whether those arrested in the Erode-Sivagiri murder case, had a connection with the other 19 murder case accused. He questioned if the police had framed innocent persons in the previous 19 cases and asked if the police will take responsibility for such mistakes, if the government does not. He further said, 'Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Madurai on July 8, and if we gather at the Thiruparankundram, it will resonate at St George's Fort.'

Murugan meet: Nainar slams min
Madurai: BJP state president Nainar Nagenthran on Tuesday hit out at HR & CE minister P K Sekarbabu, saying his comment that action would be taken if any untoward incidents happen during the upcoming Murugan conference in Madurai, is highly disappointing and reflects his own mindset. "Sekarbabu is a devotional person but it is disappointing to see him make such comments suggesting untoward incidents may happen during the conference. It raises suspicion as to who really wants to create divisive incidents. Why does the minister harbour such bad thoughts," asked Nagenthran while addressing reporters. He met party cadres in Tirunelveli, Virudhunagar and Madurai on Tuesday, and also took part in a consultative meeting at Melur for the Murugan conference on June 22. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan are among those likely to take part in the conference. On the Anna University sexual assault case, the BJP leader said, "We welcome the court decision. But, the question of 'Who is that sir' remains. This case was rushed and finished in 154 days when there are sexual assault cases pending in courts for years. Reality is that law and order in Tamil Nadu is out of the control of chief minister M K Stalin," he said.

No national interest? Go to Pakistan: Tamil Nadu BJP chief
TIRUPPUR: People who are against national interest should leave India and go to Pakistan, BJP state unit president Nainar Nagenthran said on Friday. He was speaking at a national flag procession taken out by the BJP to celebrate the victory of Operation Sindoor. 'Some people in Tamil Nadu are criticising Operation Sindoor on social media. They say intelligence failure led to the terror attack on innocent tourists at Pahalgam and are worried more about the people of Pakistan, despite living in our country. Comments in support of Pakistan are being shared on social media by people in Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister MK Stalin should condemn this. But, when he fails to do so, we can only assume that he is acting in support of Pakistan,' Nagenthran said. The rally was inaugurated by Nagenthran and former party president K Annamalai. Party cadre, members of the public and schoolchildren participated in large numbers, holding the national flag.
