Narwal Freo Z Ultra deal: Our favorite robot drops to lowest price since Prime Day

Jonathan Feist / Android Authority After testing a wide variety of robots, we've placed the Narwal Freo Z Ultra as our top pick in our list of the best robot vacuums. Its $1,499.99 retail price can be a bit much, though. Luckily, today we came across a really nice deal that brings the cost down to a more reasonable $929.99. Get the Narwal Freo Z Ultra for $929.99 ($570 off) This offer is available from Amazon. It is a 'limited time offer' that's available for both color versions: White and Gray. Narwal Freo Z Ultra Narwal Freo Z Ultra Powerful suction and nearly-total automation Continuing to innovate, the Narwal Freo Z Ultra adds a large vacuum bag to the self-cleaning base station, heated electrolyzed water, AI smarts, and quieter than ever operation. It sweep, it vacuums, it mops, and it does it all automatically for weeks on end. Now with a baseboard cleaning brush. See price at Amazon Save $570.00 Limited Time Deal! The lowest price we've seen on the Narwal Freo Z Ultra is $849.99, but this was a Prime Day deal. The sale was exclusive to Prime subscribers and was only available for a few days. Besides that limited offer, this $929.99 price is the second-best discounted price on this model. We know 929.99 is still a hefty price to pay for a robot cleaner, but this is an impressive vacuum and mop combo that competes only with the very best in the industry. We highly praised it during our Narwal Freo Z Ultra review. Let's tell you a bit about it. The Freo Z Ultra offers an impressive 12,000Pa suction power. It can pick up 99% of all particles on hard floors. We've seen the previous-generation Freo X Ultra pick up metal marbles with 8,200Pa, so the more powerful Z Ultra will have no issues picking up usual debris. Another feature that makes the Narwal Freo Z Ultra special is its zero-tangle roller brush. I have long hair and usually have to manually untangle it from the robot. Not with the Freo Z Ultra! Those of you with long hair or pets will love this. The dual mopping pads are a really neat addition. They do more than just drag a rag across the floor; they essentially scrub the floors. Jonathan Feist / Android Authority Aside from being more efficient at cleaning, the system will also ensure the floors are actually left clean after each cleaning session. The docking station will wash the mopping pads on its own, then measure how dirty they come back. If the water is dirty, it will send the robot back to continue cleaning repeatedly, until the mopping pads come back squeaky clean. When done, the base will also dry the mopping pads to avoid any funky smells. As a result, the Narwal Freo Z Ultra offers one of the best hands-off approaches in the market. The dust bag can store up to 120 days of debris, using compression. The fresh water and dirty water containers usually last about a week or two, depending on how often you mop your floors and how much surface area each session covers. The robot itself is also pretty efficient at navigating. It uses two cameras, three lasers, and AI implementations to identify all kinds of obstructions and dangers. It can even detect different types of messes and adjust its cleaning method to tackle them better. Again, this is the cheapest the Narwal Fro Z Ultra has been, aside from the Prime Day sale. You don't even need a Prime subscription to catch this deal! Go grab this offer while you can! Extra deal: The Narwal Freo Pro is nearly as good and only costs $499.99 Narwal Freo Pro Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo Narwal Freo Pro Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo LiDAR and more in a mid-range bot There are not many compromises in the Narwal Freo Pro to help bring the price down. Only a few controls in the base station, manual detergent addition, but still some of the best floor cleaning capabilities we've seen from a robot vacuum. See price at Amazon Save $200.00 Limited Time Deal! The Narwal Freo Z Ultra is impressive, but it may be a bit overkill for many users. If you're like me, you would probably prefer saving money on something that offers more bang for your buck. The Narwal Freo Pro is pretty much almost as good, and right now, it is much more affordable at just $499.99. The features are actually pretty similar. The base will also wash and dry the mopping pads, and the system still detects how dirty the mopping pads come back, so the robot will continue cleaning until the floors are actually clean. The lidar system works very well, and it is very similar to that of the previous-gen Narwal Freo X Ultra. It can navigate your home very efficiently. It also has that zero-tangle main brush many of us can no longer live without. Jonathan Feist / Android Authority There are a few differences to keep in mind, though. The side brushes are also tangle-free, which is an upgrade. There are some downsides, though, if you can really call them that. The suction power isn't as potent at 8,500, but that is still more than capable of cleaning your typical floors. The dock has no physical buttons, but I honestly never use those in my Narwal Freo X Ultra. Being able to control it with the app and digital assistants is much more convenient. The one difference you may find a bit annoying is that it does not have automatic detergent dispensing. Instead, you need to throw a dissolving tablet into the water bin every time you refill the fresh water. It's one more step to think about, but we wouldn't say this is a deal-breaker. Especially if it saves you hundreds of dollars. Honestly, this is likely the better choice for most people. If I were to buy a Narwal robot right now, it would be this one.

"Asim Munir Will Know Pain The Day...": Father Of Navy Officer Killed In Pahalgam

New Delhi: Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, aged 26, got married on April 16. Less than a week later, he was gunned down by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam. An image of Himanshi Narwal, his wife, sitting next to his body became one of the defining images of one of the worst terror attacks in living memory. Today, Lt Narwal's father, Rajesh, lives with a grief he describes as unrelenting, and one that, he says, Pakistan's military chief General Asim Munir will only understand if "someone harms his son or daughter." "He (General Asim Munir) will only be able to understand my pain the day someone harms his son or daughter. The day he learns that his son or daughter was killed in a terrorist attack, only then will he understand the pain. If I, an ordinary person, were given a gun to shoot and took his son or daughter, then he would know the pain," Rajesh Narwal told NDTV. The wedding ceremony in Karnal was followed by a reception three days later. The couple left for Kashmir on their honeymoon. On April 22, while the newlyweds sat in the scenic meadow of Baisaran -- also referred to as 'Mini Switzerland' -- sharing a plate of bhelpuri, a gunman approached and shot Lt Narwal in the head at point-blank range. "I can't even cry in front of my family," Rajesh Narwal told NDTV. "My wife, my parents, they are all broken. But I must stay composed so they feel I am strong. There is no peace of mind. It's been so many days, and we can't sleep. Our minds are in a complete blackout. No one is able to sleep for more than two or three hours. When we go to the psychiatrist, they prescribe medicines. But there is no cure for this. We develop other ailments. This is how we are." Lt Narwal's body was flown from Kashmir to the national capital before being taken to his hometown. Naval personnel, family, and local residents lined up to pay final respects. The officer's cap rested atop his coffin as his widow performed the final rites. A bright student, he joined the Navy through the Services Selection Board, rising to the rank of Lieutenant within two years. His father, a student of international relations and diplomacy himself, described Vinay as a child drawn to the military from an early age. "He was fascinated by soldiers. He would drag me to the roadside to watch convoys. He had that spark, leadership, courage, discipline. My wife, parents and I built him together over thirty years. We taught him to speak the truth and live with integrity. He lived fearlessly. He died that way. He is - and will always be - my hero," Rajesh Narwal told NDTV. "Vinay is always on my mind, 24 hours a day. When I wake up in the morning, he is the first thing I see." Speaking on the designation of The Resistance Front by the United States as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation (FTO) and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT), Rajesh Narwal welcomed the move, but said symbolism was not enough. The TRF, a proxy of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, was accused of claiming responsibility for multiple attacks, including the one in Pahalgam. "The US government has taken this step, but it's not something that happened overnight. The TRF was formed in 2019 when our government revoked Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. It is their mask. Terrorist organisations, whether in India or any corner of the world, are not finished just by sanctions. I believe that such organisations, whose ideology is to spread terrorism and harm society, must face more than sanctions. This should not be limited to our country or the US. Sanctions alone are not enough. When we see their photos and identify their ideology, their actions, and their funding sources, where the money comes from and which organisations support them, then we know who they are. They should be eradicated," Rajesh Narwal told NDTV. In what the Indian government termed a "measured and proportionate" military response, the Army on the night of July 16 launched Operation Sindoor, striking nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The locations included Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Bahawalpur, Rawalakot, Chakswari, Bhimber, Neelum Valley, Jhelum, and Chakwa.

Why robot vacuum with 'superb' function is a game-changer for families and it's now on sale

Daily Mail journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission - learn more As a mum to two young girls, I feel like I spend endless hours cleaning the house only for it to become instantly messy again. It can feel like a cruel joke, but such life with a Kindergartener and a newly minted threenager causing chaos. Mealtimes can be particularly frustrating with dropped crumbs reaching far and wide and the drips of milk splattering the floor feel personal, despite the best efforts to coax behaviours to avoid these very issues. While some families are militant with this kind of mess or maybe they rely on a dog to clean, my current saviour is a robot vacuum and mop and it's currently on sale with nearly $400 slashed from its usual price. What makes the Narwal Freo Z10 a great choice for a family with young children is that it not only boasts an impressive 15,000 pa suction power, but the intelligent mopping system is superb and what makes the robot really standout. The unit features dual rotating mop pads that delivers a deep and streak-free clean of the messiest, most dripped on wooden floors in my house. The vacuum function is great picking up everything from fine dust to small debris and it avoids tangles thanks to two side brushes which loosen hair and transfer to the roller brush. But it's the mopping capabilities where the unit really shines, tackling the biggest spills with ease, even if they've not been addressed as soon as they've happened. 20% off Narwal Freo Z10 now $1,608 Shop The robot uses the 'EdgeReach triangular mop extension' to clean hard to reach places meaning every nook and cranny is covered. The intelligent unit is very thorough and it monitors cleanliness, mopping the area again if dirt is still detected to leave floors sparkling. This is particularly important in my home when I seem to come across a fragment of squished banana or a squashed pea on a worringly regular basis. How long have they been their for? The navigation is a selling point too. The Freo Z10 uses advanced LIDAR navigation and the AI-powered tool mapped my home's layout quickly although it did initially confuse several rooms as one, not that it impacted the cleaning. You can select zones you want to address or block out no go areas you want the robot to avoid in the app, which is incredibly easy to use and to set up. This functionality is great in avoiding any long thread rugs or areas you haven't had time to tidy. As a pretty self-sufficient unit there's little upkeep meaning you have more time to enjoy yourself and worry less about cleaning up Unlike many entry-level robot vacuums, it doesn't bounce around but plots precise cleaning paths, it's very satisfying to watch if that's your thing. The Freo Z10 also avoids obstacles with impressive accuracy, you won't find it banging into furniture and it also avoids toys scattered across the floor, which is commonplace in my home no matter how hard I try to wage a war against it. This advanced navigation does mean that unlike other units I've tried it won't just clean a new space you pop it into, as needs to configure where it is in relation to the base unit, but if you map your home properly at the start this won't be an issue. The Freo Z10 isn't just helpful when it's cleaning, it's also efficient when it's done too. The self-cleaning base station handles mop washing, drying, and dirty water disposal. I've found that because the mop is so efficient I am emptying the dirty water and refilling the fresh water after every other deep clean but I'm more than happy to do that quick job for spotless floors. The need to empty the vacuum debris is much less frequent and obviously With advanced scheduling, you can plan ahead and set and forget to let the robot fit into your plans and you can turn it on when you're away from home, ensuring a tidy home upon your return. The Narwal Freo Z10 is currently on sale for $1,608, usually retailing at $1,999 which is a significant investment, although it's not top tier, but in my experience, you get what you pay for when it comes to robot vacuums and if you want to take advantage of the offer I'd move quickly. Most budget units just don't have the cleaning power required to tackle the mess less by the younger members or furry friends in the family. They get tangled or they get stuck and require assistance and often lose power and suction quickly. I'm all about outsourcing every parenting task that I can, I swore by the Snoo bassinet with my babies and now we're in that messy phase of life, the Narwal Freo Z10 is my current timesaver.

You can buy Tapo's terrific RV30 Max robovac for just $200 right now

Amazon has already slashed the pricing on several excellent robot vacuums for Prime Day, including high-end hybrid mopping models like the Dreame X40 Ultra and Narwal's Freo Z Ultra. Thankfully, if a $700 or $800 robovac is out of the question, Tapo's RV30 Max Plus is an impressive alternative that's currently on sale at Amazon with an auto-empty dock for an all-time low of $199.99 ($100 off). Our favorite budget-friendly robot vacuum offers high-end features, including room-specific cleaning, a capable mop, carpet boost, and smart navigation. It also features an auto-empty dock. Despite costing significantly less than the aforementioned premium models, the RV30 Max Plus doesn't skimp on features, which is why it's our favorite budget robovac. With 5,300Pa of suction power, it easily sucks up cereal, dust, and debris from hard floors. Its wide mop pad and large 300ml water tank also allow for solid mopping performance, while the vac's customizable, room-specific cleaning allows you to choose between five suction levels, three flow settings, and three adjustable mop rotations. Navigation is another area where the RV30 Max Plus punches above its weight. The robot vacuum's smart, lidar-based system enables it to map and navigate your home with precision, and Tapo's intuitive app allows you to set both virtual walls and no-go zones. Notably, you can even set the direction in which it cleans and store up to four distinct floor maps, which is something typically reserved for more premium models. Of course, given it's a relatively cheap robovac, there are a few features Tapo sacrificed to keep costs down. It lacks AI-powered obstacle detection, for example, meaning you'll need to pick up any stray cables, socks, and other objects that might get in the way while running it. Its 2,600mAh battery also isn't the most robust, and charging can take a while. Still, if you're looking to expedite your cleaning on a budget, the RV30 Max Plus is a solid value, especially with this Prime Day discount. See price at Amazon Save $650.00 Prime Deal Sure, spending $849.99 on a robot cleaner still stings, but it is an excellent deal considering the retail price is a whopping $1,499.99. Not to mention, you are essentially getting a premium robot vacuum and mop combo that competes only with the best in the industry. In fact, we have the Narwal Freo Z Ultra listed as our favorite option in our list of the best robot vacuums! This is an amazing robot. For starters, it has a 12,000Pa suction power. It can pick up 99% of all particles on hard floors. Additionally, the 8,200Pa Narwal Freo X Ultra was able to pick up metal marbles. We're sure the Freo Z Ultra can pick up all your debris without breaking a sweat. I am a huge fan of the zero-tangle roller brush. If you also have long hair, or own long-haired pets, this robot will do amazingly picking up all hair and sending it directly to the dust bag. Before owning a Narwal robot, I always had to manually untangle hairs, and that is not fun! The Narwal Freo Z Ultra can also mop, and it has a couple of rotating mopping pads that do a stunning job. These essentially scrub floors. Every time it finishes cleaning, it returns to the dock, which measures how dirty the mopping pads are. If they are dirty, the robot goes back and continues cleaning until they are squeaky clean. Jonathan Feist / Android Authority When done, the dock will wash and dry said mopping pads, so as to avoid any funky smells. The dust bag can also store up to seven weeks of debris. Combine all these features, and you get a nearly hands-free experience. You rarely have to switch the bag, the mopping pads get washed on their own, and tangled hair is non-existent. The only thing you have to do more often is refill the fresh water and throw away the dirty water. I do this about once a week. We also found that the robot's dual cameras, triple-laser, and AI enhancements do a great job helping the robot navigate through your home and avoiding obstacles. It can even identify different types of messes, and adjust the cleaning strategy accordingly. Again, this is a Prime Day deal, and today is the last day of this event. This means this offer will more than likely be gone tomorrow! If you've been looking to get an amazing robot cleaner at a more reasonable price, this is your chance!
