Celeb SAS Who Dares Wins in huge format shake-up for new series as bosses line up show-first twist
CELEBRITY SAS: Who Dares Wins is set for a huge format change when the new series airs - with bosses lining up a show-first, The Sun can exclusively reveal. We told in March how Channel 4 had made a last-minute decision to keep the show going, despite plans to quietly axe it. 3 3 Now The Sun can reveal - for the first time - the new Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins cast will be made up of both UK and Australian celebrities. The smart money saving move means it will also air Down Under, with the budget being split with Aussie network Channel 7. An insider said: 'Bosses have decided to mix things up this year to keep things fresh, and for the first time ever, the show will be made up of a mix of UK and Aussie celebs. 'The show is huge down under and will air there too, so it's also a way of splitting the budget with the Australian network. 'Lots of the Aussie names will be familiar to UK audiences, and vice versa." So far The Sun has revealed that the Aussie stars taking part are Jess Power from MAFS and Natalie Bassingthwaighte of Neighbours fame, and there will be more names expected soon. For UK stars, we recently revealed Love Island winner Dani Dyer has signed up for the show following her wedding to Jarrod Bowen. A source said: "Dani may be small in stature but she's incredibly tough. 'Any woman who can juggle working while being a mum to three children under four is impressive — and that's the woman Dani's friends and family see on a daily basis. 'Celebrity SAS is a really difficult show, both mentally and physically. It will push her to her limits but she can't wait to get started."

Dr Karl doesn't look like this anymore! Alan Fletcher is unrecognisable as he arrives for final week of filming on axed soap Neighbours
Alan Fletcher is one of the most beloved stars to ever appear on Aussie soap opera Neighbours. As the show nears its final episodes, the actor, who has played Karl Kennedy on the Australian soap since 1994, arrived for work this week looking rather different than he did in his heyday. The 68-year-old arrived on set on Tuesday for what is the last week of filming for the iconic series. Alan was sporting grey and white hair and appeared unshaven as he exited his vehicle. He opted for a striped dress shirt in tones of red, white and blue, along with a pair of grey trousers. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Alan Fletcher (pictured), who has played Karl Kennedy on the Australian soap since 1994, arrived for work this week looking rather different than he did in his heyday The veteran actor completed his ensemble with a pair of brown dress shoes. Alan previously revealed he once nearly died while filming Neighbours. He recounted a 'terrifying' incident which saw him nearly drown while filming scenes on a cruise. During an upcoming appearance on Saturday Night With Hayley Palmer, Alan told the presenter how his character had been attempting to rescue his fiancée Izzy Hoyland (Natalie Bassingthwaighte), when things went south. Alan claimed he only survived the near-death-experience after a speedboat came to his rescue. He went on to tell viewers he collapsed a week later due to 'delayed shock', but has lived on to tell the tale. The Perth native said: 'This was a terrifying incident, Karl proposed to Izzy... she got so excited she pitched into the water. 'After they fished her out, I had to dive in to try and rescue her, obviously in a fictional way, but I forgot to take my shoes off so they filled up with water and every time I went down I thought, "Gee, am I gonna come up again? 'The third time I went down, I thought, "I don't know if I am gonna come up," so I got a bit flustered, put my hand up in the air and the speedboat had to rush out and rescue me. 'A week later, I actually collapsed from a delayed shock to the body. It was very weird.' It comes after the long-running soap opera was abruptly axed in February. Amazon did not renew their contract with production company Fremantle Australia. In response to the shock announcement, an Amazon spokesperson told MailOnline: 'Neighbours has brought so much joy over the last 40 years to its fanbase globally. 'Forty years is an incredible milestone and we are proud that Amazon MGM Studios was able to have a small part of bringing further episodes to Freevee and Prime Video customers over the last two years.' In a heartwarming post, the crew assured fans that new episodes from the 40th anniversary season would continue to be broadcast on Prime Video and Ten, with 'all the big soapie twists and turns that our viewers love'. The show's Executive Producer Jason Herbison went on to celebrate the many years of Neighbours and the success it had experienced since its inception. 'Audiences all around the world have loved Neighbours for four decades,' he said. 'We are proud of the success over the last two years including often appearing as one of the Top 10 titles in the UK and the show's first-ever Daytime Emmy nomination. 'As this chapter closes, we appreciate and thank Amazon MGM Studios for all that they have done for Neighbours – bringing this iconic and much-loved series to new audiences globally.' He ended the post, saying: 'We value how much the fans love Neighbours and we believe there are more stories of the residents of Ramsay Street to tell in the future.' The final ever episodes will air at the end of 2025 with fans forced to say goodbye to Ramsay Street for a second time, after first being axed in February 2022.

EXCLUSIVE New SAS series cast leaked as stars jet out to Morocco to film remake - but will Ant Middleton make a return to the reality show after he was cut from The Amazing Race?
The SAS franchise is in the midst of a major makeover, with a slew of stars now touching down in Morocco to begin filming the new season. Daily Mail Australia can reveal six 'Aussie celebrities' have secretly arrived in Marrakesh to film an 'all-new version' of the hit survival series. Dubbed SAS Hotel, the hush-hush series is said to be unlike anything fans have seen before. Described by insiders as part military boot camp, part luxury mind game, the series is slated to air in the UK first but could very well land on Channel Seven late next year. 'It's a wildcard version of SAS with a twist,' one well-placed source said. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'It's still brutal, still physically and mentally demanding but with an added psychological edge that really messes with the recruits. 'It's Who Dares Wins meets The White Lotus.' In a spicy twist, this elite showdown pits six Aussies against six Brits, with challenges designed to test national pride as much as endurance. Among the stars spotted arriving in Morocco are 'reality Queen' Jessika Power, singer and actress Natalie Bassingthwaighte, and Neighbours legend Ryan Maloney. All chosen for their recognisability in both the UK and Australia. 'There's a definite strategy here, everyone has to be a big name in both markets,' the insider reveals. 'It's all about building a format that can travel globally.' Jamie Marinos from this year's season of Married At First Sight was also reported to have turned down a spot on the show. She has confirmed the series would be outside the bounds of what her current contract with Channel Nine would allow. Questions have also swirled around the involvement of former SAS frontman Ant Middleton, who has helmed both the UK and Aussie versions of the show. While he was once the face of the franchise, his recent antics while filming The Amazing Race Australia may have tarnished his appeal. Brendan Fevola had Ant and his brother Dan disqualified from the Celebrity Edition of the show following an off-camera incident overseas. The drama unfolded during a day off from filming when Dan allegedly got into a heated argument with TikTok stars Luke and Scott O'Halloran. Dan reportedly yelled at the brothers and used inappropriate language late at night when most of the cast had already gone to bed. Ant was not directly involved in the incident but was disqualified along with his brother. Brendan, who was competing on the show with his daughter Leni, is reportedly said to have confronted Dan over the behaviour. He allegedly gave producers an ultimatum: remove the Middleton brothers or he and Leni would walk. Shortly after, Ant and Dan were sent home and cut from the series. SAS Hotel location sources say Ant has not appeared in Morocco and therefore it would be fair to say he is not a part of the project. Meanwhile, sightings of sports stars, TV personalities and actors from the UK have been seen coincidentally arriving on the same day. The official list will be announced in the coming weeks. Filming is expected to wrap in just four weeks, with stars returning home by August 2 – win or lose. And if SAS Hotel strikes a chord with British audiences, insiders say it could pave the way for a full SAS Australia revival - with a whole new look and feel. So, with the cat now officially out of the bag, the pressure is on for our Aussie celebs to fly the flag and survive whatever this mysterious SAS Hotel throws at them.

Natalie Bassingthwaighte puts on a busty display as she shows off her very ample cleavage in sexy Pride Festival fit
Natalie Bassingthwaighte sent temperatures soaring when she posted a sexy video on social media on Sunday. The singer and TV star, 49, took to Instagram to share a clip of the raunchy costume she wore to PrideFest Moreton Bay over the weekend. Natalie put on a busty display in a low-cut red dress that cinched in at her waist and puffed out into a ballerina-esque skirt. In true Pride fashion, she wore a pair of shiny rainbow-coloured wings, along with chunky belts buckled across her chest. The former Neighbours star then accessorised with black fishnet stockings and lace-up ankle boots, finishing off the look with a sultry red lip and her hair slicked back in a gelled bob. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Such a spectacular night,' she captioned the post, along with a pride flag emoji. In the clip, Natalie could be seen dancing in her daring fit, taking a selfie, singing onstage at the festival and sharing a sweet kiss with her partner Pip Loth. It comes after Natalie opened up about her relationship with Pip and the difficulties that come with co-parenting with her ex-husband Cameron McGlinchey. She described her romance as 'beautiful' and said that Pip 'understands' her more than any other person who has been in her life. 'They get me more than I understand myself,' she told the Stellar podcast in March. 'It's been the wildest time in my life and it's beautiful.' Shedding light on her experience coming out and the fear that often comes with it, Natalie said it was more of an internal battle than one she was facing with the people around her. 'What I've learnt over this time is that I think I had internalised homophobia myself, so I was terrified about what people would say and think and feel,' she told host Sarrah Le Marquand. Natalie has described her romance as 'beautiful' and said that Pip 'understands' her more than any other person who has been in her life 'That's just ingrained in growing up in a certain time when you weren't allowed to be.' 'It doesn't mean I don't get scared sometimes but that debilitating fear has gone. And it's beautiful. 'I feel heard, I feel safe, I feel connected.' Natalie split with her former Rogue Traders bandmate Cameron in 2023 after 12 years of marriage, before revealing a new relationship with Pip in April the following year. She said there has been challenges that come post-divorce, particularly when it comes to co-parenting with Cameron and time lost with her kids. Natalie shares two children Harper, 14, and Hendrix, 11, with her former husband and admitted on the podcast that Christmas without her kids was 'harder' than she thought it would be. 'It was the hardest Christmas I've ever experienced,' she said.
