Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have shared an emotional career move as they rebrand their famous podcast from NewlyWeds to NearlyParents, just days after announcing pregnancy Made In Chelsea 's Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have announced they will be rebranding their podcast in an emotional video after announcing their pregnancy earlier in the week. Jamie, 36, and Sophie, 30, shared the news about their pregnancy in a sweet social media post on Tuesday. The couple started their first podcast NearlyWeds when they were planning their wedding in 2022. The podcast then evolved to NewlyWeds in 2023 before they announced they were taking a break in May 2025. ‌ After leaving fans in suspense for the past few weeks, they have now announced their latest rebrand. NewlyParents is being described as their 'new chapter' and fans don't have to wait long as the podcast will be back on Monday, 9 June. ‌ To announce their new career move, the reality favourites shared an emotional video where they are seen looking back at some of the most memorable moments from their relationship. Including reflecting on their Made In Chelsea days, and reading their wedding speeches. Fans were delighted with the news as one person commented: 'I am so excited for this you have no idea, you guys are going to be the best parents. I can't wait to come along on your journey', while another said: 'Huge congratulations. This is beautiful'. The couple, who have also recently started working together on BBC Radio 1, shared their pregnancy news with an emotional video where they see their baby on an ultrasound scan. They captioned the video with a simple red heart. As the baby pops up on the screen in the clip, Jamie excitedly says: "Are you kidding me". Jamie pans the camera around the room onto Sophie, who has the biggest smile on her face as the couple hears the baby's heartbeat. ‌ Sophie has replaced Vick Hope on the Going Home show, which runs from Monday to Thursday between 3.30 pm and 6 pm. Vick, who is expecting her first child with husband Calvin Harris, has left the station to go on maternity leave. Jamie shared the news on his Instagram account, joking about them being the first married couple presenting. He said: "I'm so excited to be joining the Radio 1 family… Turns out we're the first ever Married couple to do it together, soooo I'm not too sure if that's a good thing or bad thing - hopefully we don't argue on the Radio! Get ready for the chaos - Catch you on Monday." Their journey began on the reality series Made in Chelsea, where the public was able to watch their love blossom. After dating for several years, Jamie got down on one knee at the Rosewood London hotel in December 2021, where he and Sophie shared their first ever date, and popped the question. The couple are also currently renovating their first home together in London. They are once again allowing fans to follow their journey through their vlogs, which they upload to YouTube.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 36, and wife Sophie, 30, announced she was pregnant with their first child i n a sweet social media post on Tuesday. And now they have shared with their followers that their hugely-popular podcast series will be renamed Nearly Parents. The pair began their podcast when it was named Nearly Weds as they prepared for their Spanish nuptials. It then became Newly Weds after the wedding - and now as they prepare to welcome their first child it has been reinvented yet again to mark their next life milestone. They have shared with their followers that their hugely-popular podcast series will now be renamed Nearly Parents In a tear-jerking video posted on their socials, they relaxed on a sofa as they watched back some of the highlights of their previous podcast instalments - after playing a tapes labelled 'Newly Weds' and 'Nearly Weds'. It showed emotional moments from their wedding, including Jamie's speech and podcast snippets as they reflected on the big day. In one segment Sophie broke down in tears as they listened back to some of their wedding speeches. The caption of their post read: 'Our next chapter… NearlyParents coming tomorrow #nearlyparentspodcast.' Their fans shared their excitement for the new podcast as they penned that the clip had made them emotional. Jamie's pal Elizabeth Day wrote: 'I'm not crying you're crying.' Vicky Pattison added: 'Why am I crying??!' Another pal added: 'Just soooo happy for you guys.' Their pregnancy announcement clip for fans earlier this week showed them having an ultrasound as Sophie looked delighted staring at the screen. Author and Jamie's close pal Elizabeth Day added: 'So happy for you both!' Sophie's sister Georgia - who welcomed her first child last year - reshared the post saying it was the 'best news'. The announcement came just after Sophie joined Jamie in presenting his Radio 1 drive time show when his co-star Vick Hope left on maternity leave. Vick, 35, who is expecting her first child with DJ Calvin Harris, 41, hosted her last show on the station last week. Back in April Jamie and Sophie spilled the beans on their baby plans. The pair got candid about their future plans on building a family during a chat with The Times. 'I was really scared about kids,' Jamie explained. 'It's something you can't control. Sophie would then carry a baby, all these different things that I can't control and, 'Oh God, what happens if this happen or that happens?' But I saw a clip on Instagram where someone said, 'The best thing I ever had is being called Dad.' 'I was like, 'Oh, wouldn't that be cool?' So now I'm so down for it. I would like to have loads.' They shared a clip of their scan as part of the pregnancy announcement Jamie added he would be up for four kids, and the blonde beauty agreed with him sweetly. Sophie and Jamie had two weddings - a civil ceremony at Chelsea Town hall before jetting to Spain for a bigger, more lavish ceremony. A host of their Made In Chelsea co-stars were in attendance including Sam Thompson, Olivia Bentley, Emily Blackwell, Spencer Matthews and Oliver Proudlock. Blonde beauty Sophie got engaged to Jamie in December 2021 after they started dating in April 2019 on the show.
