Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne Return for More Fun and Chaos in First Look at 'Platonic' Season 2: Watch!

Apple TV+ unveiled a first look at Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne's return to Platonic for season 2 The actors play best friends Will and Sylvie in the comedy series The sophomore season returns on Wednesday, Aug. 6 on Apple TV+Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne are back for more bestie shenanigans in the first look at Platonic season 2. Apple TV+ dropped a short teaser and images for the forthcoming season on Tuesday, May 20. The streamer also revealed the series' return date of Wednesday, Aug. 6 — nearly two years after the first season concluded. The teaser begins with Rogen's Will and Byrne's Sylvia riding on the back of a golf cart. Sylvia refuses to pick up a club, saying, "Oh no, not me. I've never held one of these. I don't even know why I'm here." Will, however, steps up to the tee to take a swing, only to send the ball flying into the eye of a fellow golfer, leading to a frantic 911 call and lots of yelling. Platonic, co-created by Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco, centers on Will and Sylvia as former best friends who reconnect after a long rift and help each other hilariously navigate life's ups and downs as they approach midlife. Ahead of the show's 2023 premiere, Byrne told PEOPLE that going from playing spouses with Rogen in the Neighbors films, released in 2014 and 2016, to playing best friends in Platonic was "different." "The dynamic is just intuitive. And we realized that day one, like, 'Oh, yeah, all right. We can do these things, but we can't do these things.' It was an opportunity to discover different ways to find the comedy," she explained. Byrne added that the show "lives and dies on the friendship and the chemistry" of her and Rogen's characters. In addition to Rogen and Byrne, both executive producers on the project, Luke Macfarlane and Carla Gallo reprise their characters from season 1. is now available in the Apple App Store! Man charged with 5th DUI in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 52-year-old man was arrested in South Nashville early Tuesday morning and charged with his fifth DUI. Officers were called to the 600 block of Murfreesboro Pike just after 3 a.m. for a driver in a black Ford F-150 who was stuck in a parking lot. Metro Nashville leaders respond to the Department of Homeland Security's arrest announcement. The man drove away and officers soon caught up to him at a gas station in the 1100 block of Murfreesboro Pike. According to court documents, Donald Neighbors told officers he had not been in any accident in the parking lot. Officers noted Neighbors was talking excessively, sweating profusely and smelled of alcohol. Neighbors told officers he was out on bond for another pending DUI case in 2024 and has multiple DUI convictions in Nashville, according to the arrest documents. ⏩ A piece of the front end of the F-150 was found in the parking lot. Neighbors was booked into the Metro jail and charged with driving under the influence (fifth offense) and leaving the scene of an accident. His bond was set at $15,000. Knox Co. health department warns public about Hepatitis

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — May is Hepatitis Awareness Month, and a local health department is educating the public on what they say is a silent disease. Hepatitis is a disease that can damage the liver and has three types: Hepatitis A, B and C. Hepatitis A and B can be prevented with vaccines, but there is no vaccination for Hepatitis C. Hepatitis A is spread through contaminated food or water, or by being in close contact with someone who has the virus. While B is spread through contact with blood or bodily fluids. Finally, C is most commonly spread by sharing needles or equipment used to inject drugs. Knox County Health Department Immunization Nurse, Kelly Neighbors, said awareness month is important for prevention, treatment and testing. 'It is basically a silent disease. There are millions of people walking around in this world that do not have the knowledge of Hepatitis or don't even know that they have Hepatitis. So, it's a good idea to get tested, especially if you don't know,' said Neighbors. The Knox County Health Department is open Monday through Friday, and they do accept walk-ins.
