Nando's fans rush to try new menu items from returning burger to 'girl dinner'

Nando's fans can get their hands on a series of new menu items including a fresh wrap, a returning burger and a new sauce – and people have been rushing to sample the new treats Nando's has launched a fresh batch of new menu items for fans to enjoy this summer. Peri-peri enthusiasts can tuck into these new treats in Nando's restaurants around the UK or order them for delivery now after they were released last week – and people have already been rushing out to try them. ‌ There is nothing like treating yourself to a nice meal out or a takeaway when you have been super busy, or while hanging out with friends or loved ones. Many people opt for Nando's – either eating in the restaurant, or ordering it to their homes. The Nando's team are always changing up the menu. Back in March, the chicken chain has announced its new Extra Saucy Wings, while in May a burger named The Big Cheese was launched. ‌ Switching things up again, the restaurant is now delighting fans with a wrap inspired by one of the most popular summer meals going – the Super Caesar Wrap. Nando's says it is perfect for "girl dinner" and is "everything you love about Nando's' Caesar Salad but extra." ‌ It includes pulled chicken, crunchy croutons, crisp lettuce, Herby Pickles, Creamy Salad Dressing and a drizzle of the recently launched PERi-honey. It's sweet, spicy and crunchy, all wrapped up. On its own, the wrap is priced at £10.25. If you make it a meal with one regular side you will be charged £14.50, and two sides totals £16.50. On Instagram, popular food page New Foods UK shared a post, and said: "The new Super Caesar Wrap is a must try! 10/10!" Many people tagged their friends in the comments and shared plans to try it out for themselves. ‌ On TikTok, Yaz Moore shared her review of the new wrap, and said: "I really like that. You know what, the Caesar dressing isn't too strong either. I'm very picky with Caesar dressing, I can't stand the ones that come in like pre made salad. I only like one type of Caesar dressing and this one isn't bad at all." She added: "I'm so happy, I think I have found my new favourite wrap." ‌ Also now added to the menu is a returning item for little ones -the Nandino Burger priced at £6.25. This much-loved burger is making a long-awaited comeback and has been improved, insists Nando's. The burger includes a grilled chicken breast with lettuce, Lemon & Herb mayo and Heinz ketchup in Nando's new soft roll. The new burger can be ordered as part of the Nandino menu. It comes after garlic BBQ has been crowned the nation's sauce of the summer. Thousands of fans voted for their favourite sauce to return, but the sweet and smoky spice took an early lead in the race and maintained pole position for the PERi-ometer prize. In a close second place was Mango & Lime, and Smoky Churrasco came in third. Fans can now order their meals with Garlic BBQ sauce.

The iconic chocolate bar, which was founded in the 1930s, is sold in more than 80 countries KitKat fans are keen to snap up two new flavours of KitKat after they were spotted at B&M stores. The Nestlé chocolate bar, made up of layered wafers coated in milk chocolate, has been a mainstay on countless confectionery shelves up and down the country since it was first launched in 1935 as the 'chocolate crisp'. ‌ Over the years, various flavours of the beloved chocolate bar have delighted fans, including a Rolo Caramel version of the KitKat Chunky released in May, and now two new flavours are currently creating a flurry of interest. Popular food-focused account New Foods UK shared an image of the two new bars across social media after they were seen at B&M. ‌ The new flavours are Honeycomb Buzz, made with honeycomb flavour, and Gold Crush, made with 'crushed caramel crisps'. ‌ New Foods UK shared the image, captured in the aisle at a B&M store, on both Facebook and Instagram. On Facebook, people were keen to share their thoughts in the comments section. One person said: 'I have to get these'. Another said: 'Very interesting' while a third said: 'Can't wait to try them'. ‌ Someone else commented: 'Ooh now we're talking'. Countless others simply tagged their friends to direct them to the post. Over on Instagram, the response was similarly enthusiastic. One person who had tried them shared: 'Both very good!' while many others tagged their pals to draw their attention to the new flavours. ‌ KitKat was originally founded in the 1930s by British confectionery company Rowntree's. According to KitKat's website, it came about through the desire to create 'a chocolate bar that could be consumed on-the-go without creating a mess'. In the late 1980s, it was taken over by Nestlé and is now 'sold in over 80 countries and is one of the most popular chocolate bars worldwide'. ‌ New Foods UK has cultivated a dedicated following on social media due to its consistent updates offering photos and videos of all the latest sweet treats, snacks and more found in supermarkets and other retail outlets across the nation. The account, which has an impressive 373,000 followers on Instagram, frequently posts reviews after sampling new products, too. Famed retailer B&M, where the new KitKats have been spotted, is similarly popular for its wide range of household goods and products, from food and beverages to home accessories and even gardening supplies. It was established by Malcolm Billington and Brian Mayman, with the first shop opening its doors in Cleveleys, Lancashire, back in 1978. Its now renowned name originates from its founders, although it was initially known as Billington & Mayman before being abbreviated to B&M. Since its inception in the 1970s, it has expanded and now operates more than 740 shops in the UK, along with 124 stores in France.

Two rare KitKat bars are spotted back on UK shelves as shoppers fill their trolleys with ‘decadent' flavours

TWO rare KitKat bars have made a surprise return to UK shelves — and sweet-toothed shoppers are already filling their trolleys with the decadent flavours. The fan-favourite treats have been spotted back in stock — sending chocoholics into a frenzy to snap them up before they disappear again. 2 One of the returning flavours is the indulgent KitKat Honeycomb flavour buzz, packed with crunchy pieces of honeycomb and a rich sweet kick. Also back is the KitKat Gold Rush, a cult classic with crushed caramel crisps. Shoppers have taken to social media to rave about the comeback, saying the bars are "interesting" and "I have to get these!" The limited-edition flavours are available in B&M. They've been popping up in stores on and off for the past few years. So fans are warning others to move fast, as they're not expected to stay on shelves for long. Taking to the Facebook group New Foods UK, one member wrote: "Two new KitKats spotted at B&M!" along with a photo attached of the chocolate bars. Excited users flooded the comment section, with one writing: "Mm yummy yummy can't wait to try them cheers everyone." Another added: "Very interesting." A third penned: "I have to get these!" KitKat and ketchup viral trend has die-hard fans feeling 'sick'- but some are more disgusted by how they're eating it New flavour A brand new KitKat flavour landed in the UK for the first time - but it's left chocolate lovers divided. The unusual flavour - Lemony Lime - is being described as a "citrusy take on the classic KitKat". It's being sold at Sunny's Premier Store in Stirling, which is a family-run corner shop that's earned a huge online following. The store has got a massive 10,800 followers on Instagram as it's become known for stocking rare and sought-after snacks. The Lemony Lime KitKat is the latest rare snack to land at Sunny's Premier - but shoppers can't agree on whether they'd want to try it. Some commenters said "yes please!!!" or "I need me some of those kitkats". Another said: "I'd love this one!" But a fourth person said: "NO. Just stop messing with a KitKat! There's no need." And another simply said "ewww". How to save money on chocolate We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar. Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs... Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars. Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere. Websites like let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal. Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced. They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged. Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar. So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger. Other new flavours KitKat has recently launched a series of new flavours to excite chocolate lovers. The new KitKat Chunky Funky is a crispy cocoa wafer smothered in a marbled mix of creamy milk and white chocolate. Then there's also the KitKat Chunky Salted Caramel and KitKat Blue Riband Vanilla. The Salted Caramel flavour is like a normal KitKat Chunky but it has salted caramel in its milk chocolate. The Blue Riband Vanilla flavour is inspired by the popular chocolatey snack. Elsewhere, supermarket chain Farmfoods has started selling rare Japanese KitKat flavours. They include Matcha, Milk Tea and Strawberry. KitKats are wildly popular in Japan and there have been more than 300 limited edition flavours of the chocolate bar released in the East Asian country. Many of the flavours are released regionally, and there is a popular tradition where people will bring back flavours for their friends and family when they travel to different regions. 2

Brits run to buy 'scrumptious' Yorkshire Tea bags inspired by beloved dessert

Brew lovers are delighted after Yorkshire Tea has launched a brand new, exciting flavour of tea bags. They are said to shake up your regular cuppa with a 'sweet and jammy' flavour If there is one thing us Brits will never get enough of, it's a good cup of tea. While a classic cuppa never goes amiss, sometimes it can be fun to change it up and try something new. While you might opt for a herbal tea like camomile, peppermint or green, you can also enjoy some more fun flavours too. Recently, Yorkshire Tea launched an exciting new tea bag flavour, inspired by a beloved dessert. It comes after the company's Jam on Toast tea bags were a hit. Unlike the classic green box with a red banner on it, the new tea bag flavour comes in a bright pink box - and your brew will taste like cherry Bakewell. Taylors of Harrogate, the maker of Yorkshire Tea, says the new tea offers sweet, jammy, and almondy loveliness. A pack of 40 is available at Morrisons now for £2.50, or you can get two packs for £4.50 up until July 22. The description of the product states: "Here's a scrumptious tea that tastes like a Cherry Bakewell. Why? Because tea and cake were born to be together - so when you taste them both at the same time, you know it's something special. A Yorkshire Brew with that sweet, jammy, almondy loveliness is just the ticket." People have rushed to shared their thoughts on the new tea. It comes after a picture of the product was shared on popular food page, New Foods UK, recently. The post, which was shared both on Instagram and Facebook, said: "New Cherry Bakewell tea bags spotted at Morrisons." One individual who approves of the tea bags, said: "I got some of these on Tuesday - they're so good! I really miss @yorkshiretea Toast and Jam tea but these are a delicious replacement." "Why the hell not," said another on Instagram. "You'd like this I bet," added another as they tagged a friend. "I need to try," insisted one other. "I miss the Jam on Toast but I'm sure these will be as good," said one other who loves trying the different flavoured teas. "Yes, can't wait to try," insisted one other. "I'm going to try them," added one other. This is not the first time that Yorkshire Tea has experimented with its flavours after previously launching Caramelised Biscuit Brew flavoured tea, which can be purchased from Sainsbury's and Morrisons for £2.50. Yorkshire Tea also sells a Bedtime Brew with vanilla and nutmeg for the same price.
