Nissan launches 10-year extended warranty for Magnite

Nissan Motor India has introduced a segment-first 10-year extended warranty plan for the New Nissan Magnite, days after the compact SUV secured a 5-star overall passenger safety rating from Global NCAP, including a perfect score for adult occupant protection. The plan, which builds on the standard 3-year warranty, allows customers to extend coverage for up to 10 years or 2 lakh km at a cost of just 22 paise per km or ₹12 per day,the company's statement said. It offers nationwide cashless repairs at authorised Nissan workshops, unlimited claims, and coverage on genuine spare parts, with financing options available through Nissan Finance . Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said the initiative aims to give customers 'worry-free ownership for a decade,' reinforcing the brand's focus on quality, reliability, and safety. Launched in October 2024 on the enhanced CMF-A+ platform, the New Magnite features over 40 standard safety elements, including six airbags, ESC, TCS, hill-start assist, and a high-tensile strength steel body. It is sold in more than 65 countries and was recently joined by the black-themed KURO Special Edition, priced from ₹8.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

In a bid to strengthen its regional footprints, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated five new outlets in Rajasthan, taking its network to 283 customer touchpoints across the country. The newly launched touchpoints include a 4,000 sq. ft. showroom and a 20,000 sq. ft. workshop in Jaipur, a 10,000 sq. ft. integrated 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts) facility in Udaipur, and a 4,000 sq. ft. showroom in Ajmer. These touchpoints were inaugurated by Nissan Motor India's Managing Director, Saurabh Vatsa. With this, Nissan has 19 touchpoints now in Rajasthan. Nissan is prioritising Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets as it prepares to launch its future vehicle portfolio, positioning India as both a key domestic and export hub. Magnite leads growth and exports According to the company's statement, the New Magnite continues to be a cornerstone of Nissan's India strategy. It has contributed to Nissan's best annual sales performance in seven years, with FY2024-25 recording over 99,000 units—28,000+ domestic and 71,000+ exports to over 65 global markets. Further enhancing its customer offerings, Nissan has introduced a government-approved CNG retrofitment kit for the New Magnite SUV .

In a strategic push to strengthen its presence in the Indian market, Nissan has announced the addition of five new customer touchpoints in Rajasthan, expanding its total network in India to 283 touchpoints. The new facilities—spread across Jaipur, Udaipur, and Ajmer—include showrooms and service workshops designed to deliver an integrated and premium customer experience. With this expansion, Nissan now operates 19 touchpoints in Rajasthan, including multiple outlets in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Jaipur, the company inaugurated a 4,000 sq. ft. showroom and a 20,000 sq. ft. service workshop, both located on Gopalpura Bypass. Udaipur welcomed a comprehensive 3S facility (Sales, Service, and Spare parts) spread over 10,000 sq. ft., while Ajmer saw the opening of a new 4,000 sq. ft. Raj Nissan showroom on Jaipur Road. In a bid to offer eco-friendly mobility solutions, Nissan Motor India has announced the availability of a government-approved CNG retrofitment kit for its popular sub-4 metre SUV, the Nissan Magnite. Priced at Rs 74,999, the CNG kit offers enhanced fuel efficiency and a greener alternative to CNG retrofitment kit, developed and quality-certified by Motozen—a government-approved third-party vendor—comes with a 3-year or 1 lakh kilometre warranty on kit components. The installation will be carried out exclusively at government-authorised fitment centres, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety CNG option will be available only with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a manual transmission. In its first phase, the rollout will cover seven states: Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, and Karnataka. The program will later be extended nationwide as part of the second phase.
