ATLANTIS, THE PALM UNVEILS 'A WORLD AWAY': A TRANSFORMATIVE NEW BRAND CAMPAIGN INSPIRED BY EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCES

Atlantis, The Palm unveils 'A World Away', a visually striking and emotionally resonant brand campaign developed entirely in-house by the Atlantis Dubai team, in collaboration with an award-winning, globally recognized film crew. Created to reshape perceptions, spark imagination, and reignite global awareness, the campaign positions Atlantis, The Palm as far more than a holiday destination. It is a world rich with energy, wonder, and emotion—where guests are invited to leave the ordinary behind and step into the extraordinary. Whether it's a guest overcoming their fears on the iconic waterslide Leap of Faith, or a quiet moment spent face-to-face with marine life, every experience becomes a fulfilled dream. For the first time in Atlantis history, a campaign of this scale is conceived, produced, and executed entirely by the in-house brand and marketing teams—ensuring the final product is creatively ambitious, deeply authentic, and true to the spirit of the resort. To bring the story to life, the Atlantis team collaborates with Bruce Macdonald, winner of the New York Film Festival and International Film Talent Awards, whose cinematic direction anchors the emotional depth of the campaign. He is joined by Simon Duggan, the acclaimed Director of Photography behind The Great Gatsby and Hacksaw Ridge, and a two-time AACTA Award winner for Best Cinematography. The visual narrative is further enhanced by London-based photographer Jonathan Stokes, known for his work with National Geographic Traveler; FPV drone expert André Larsen, one of the world's top talents in aerial filming; and underwater cinematographer Mike Rall, founder of Base Films and a recognised leader in his field. Filming takes place across several of Atlantis, The Palm's most iconic locations, including the grand main lobby, the awe-inspiring Underwater Suite, the renowned Lost Chambers Aquarium, world-class culinary venues under the most Michelin-awarded destination in the region, and the record-breaking Aquaventure World. Visually, 'A World Away' is defined by a distinctive 80/20 composition principle—80% of each frame showcases the vast, dreamlike environment of Atlantis, while 20% highlights authentic human connection. This deliberate balance amplifies both the scale of the resort and the emotional impact of the experience that guests are invited to partake in. The campaign runs across digital, social, in-resort, and out-of-home platforms—not just in the UAE, but across key global markets including Saudi Arabia, the UK, USA, Australia, and Europe. To experience the campaign firsthand, watch it here and follow @atlantisthepalm on social media.

Lincoln Center Unveils Renderings For $335 Million Project That Includes New Outdoor Theater And Removal Of Much-Hated Block-Length Wall

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts today announced the preliminary design for a $335 million transformation of the west side of its Manhattan campus, a project that will include the creation of a new outdoor performance space, community park spaces and the removal of a long-hated wall that separates the cultural institution from its westernmost neighborhood. The project, designed by Hood Design Studio (Landscape Architect), Weiss/Manfredi Architecture/Landscape/Urbanism (Design Architect) and Moody Nolan (Architect of Record), creates what Lincoln Center describes as 'a new, world-class performance venue that will greatly improve artist and audience experiences.' Other key elements of the project, as described by Lincoln Center: A community park featuring a lawn, water feature, tree groves, and garden for public enjoyment; A welcoming entrance that dramatically opens up Lincoln Center's Amsterdam Avenue face to neighbors approaching from the west The latter element – the 'welcoming entrance' – addresses what has long been seen as something of a neighborhood blight: A block-long wall that's as unattractive as it is ostracizing, a cold-shoulder to its neighbors across Amsterdam Avenue, including public housing complex known as Amsterdam Houses, LaGuardia High School, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Educational Complex. In its announcement today, Lincoln Center officials said the project is a response to 'local communities' desire' to remove the wall that runs along the campus' Damrosch Park. The wall will be replaced with 'a series of welcoming transition spaces from the street into Lincoln Center's iconic campus.' The new design incorporates extensive community feedback from an ongoing participatory process that began in 2023, which Lincoln Center says includes feedback from local neighbors, New York City Housing Authority residents, community groups, students, and New Yorkers in general. 'The design balances the interventions made to the east side of Lincoln Center's campus more than a decade ago,' the announcement says, 'which created more welcoming outdoor spaces on the north and east of campus needed to deliver on its founding mission of the arts for all.' The $335 million capital campaign has raised 65% to-date, including support from the Lincoln Center of Performing Arts Board of Directors, as well as a $10 million commitment from the State of New York. According to Lincoln Center, construction is expected to begin next spring and be completed by spring 2028. The Stavros Niarchos Foundation is a Founding Partner with a $75 million grant that includes their initial support when the project began and builds upon their support of free programming throughout Summer for the City and the ongoing Legacies of San Juan Hill initiative. A lead gift from The Starr Foundation provides 'invaluable support, anchoring the project which aligns with its longstanding support of the arts, culture, and vital New York communities.' The project is being undertaken in coordination with NYC Parks and NYC Department of Transportation. Damrosch Park is mapped city parkland maintained and operated by LCPA. Dua Lipa goes braless and cheekily flashes her bottom in a semi-sheer dress as she leaves 50th Chaplin Award Gala in New York

Dua Lipa sent little to the imagination in a braless look as she departed the 50th Chaplin Award Gala in New York on Monday night. The songstress, 29, cheekily flashed her bottom in the scantily-clad garment as she stepped into her transport to head back to her hotel. The brunette beauty confidently flashed her envious physique in the brown semi-sheer dress. Dua set pulses racing wearing just a tiny black thong under the racy number, which she teamed with towering heels. The One Kiss hitmaker wore her dark tresses in loose waves over her shoulders and opted for a bronzed makeup look. The Chaplin Award Gala is Film at Lincoln Center's primary annual fundraising event. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit's programs, including film series, educational initiatives, and marquee events like the New York Film Festival and New Directors/New Films. The event in New York comes after Dua took to Instagram last Monday to show off some snaps from her Easter vacation with fiancé Callum Tuner in Albania. The Dance The Night Away singer flaunted her flawless physique as she donned a tiny red triangle bikini whilst sunning herself on the beach. Dua posted a gallery of photos with a caption 'Easter at home' with a bunny and Albanian flag emojis. In another shot the musician could be seen wearing a black crop top and matching workout shorts with her brunette locks tied back in a sleek ponytail. The couple were laughing and goofing around in the snaps while Dua squashed Callum's, 34, face as he grinned. The loved up duo also filmed themselves running and jumping off a pier into the water with beautiful cliffs in the background. Dua and Callum were first linked in January 2024 and are said to have got engaged late last year. The One Kiss hitmaker wore her dark tresses in loose waves over her shoulders and opted for a bronzed makeup look But only recently have the couple have the couple gone public with their romance as they were previously rarely pictured together. In December it emerged that Dua and Callum had got engaged after he 'got down in one knee in a romantic proposal'. It was revealed the stunning sparkler seemingly boasts an elegant solitaire diamond with 18 karat gold band and could cost a whopping £25K. Anya Walsh, jewellery expert at 77 Diamonds, Europe's largest online diamond jeweller, told MailOnline: 'The ring seems to be either a classic solitaire diamond set on a large, gold band, in what seems to be 18 carat yellow gold. The slightly wider than average band gives the ring a confident, chunky feel'. Anya added: 'Pricing always depends on the diamond's quality, but a high quality 2 carat diamond set on a classic wide band solitaire would cost around £20,000 to £25,000 at 77 Diamonds.'
