Lester Holt signs off as anchor of 'NBC Nightly News'
NEW YORK (WSAV) — Lester Holt, the long-time anchor of 'NBC Nightly News' signed off for the last time Friday. Monday, Tom Llamas takes over anchoring duties. In his final broadcast, Holt thanked his staff and the viewers for the memorable moments over the years. 'I'll miss our evenings together and I will miss the team that puts it all together. My dear friends and my colleagues. But for now, I just want to say thank you to my incredibly supportive and patient family and all of you. 'NBC Nightly News with Tom Llamas' premieres Monday.
