Patrick Schwarzenegger's Dating History, from Miley Cyrus to Abby Champion

Attention everyone who's been in an emotionally committed relationship with Patrick Schwarzenegger since he made this face in The White Lotus: We're late to the party. Not only is Patrick in an actual committed relationship (the man is engaged), his relationship history is stacked with public—and often messy—romances for us to go over. Let's get into it. Before you completely spiral, this was an unsubstantiated rumor. One that kicked off when Patrick and Taylor were spotted spending Fourth of July weekend together at the Kennedy's Cape Cod compound—prompting speculation from the likes of People. But as we all know, Tay went on to date Conor Kennedy—not Patrick! Patrick and AJ were linked over Halloween, but it was literally just because they went to a party together. In other words, there's no proof that they were actually dating! Patrick and Taylor met at USC and dated for a couple years in college but not much is known about their relationship since it was mostly going down pre-fame. However, if you need proof of their vibes, Us Weekly published this article in 2013: Patrick Schwarzenegger Kisses Girlfriend Tootsie Burns, Shows Off Buff Body. Miley and Patrick didn't date for long, but it was pretty dramatic. First of all, they were very public: But things took a turn when Patrick—per TMZ—"got very close with some OTHER chick in Cabo." He denied cheating in since-deleted tweets, saying "Omg. It's one of my best friends NEVER do anything against my GF..... Girls have guy friends and guys have friends that are girls..." But the damage was done, and he and Miley split a few weeks later. According to People: "They're just in two different places in their lives. He's in college and she's focused on her music and career." Patrick and Abby met back in 2015 after she moved to California to become a model. Per Us Weekly, they were first seen together in September at the Nice Guy. A classic Hollywood love story! The pair got engaged a few years later in 2023, and have been going strong since: Patrick told People in February, "When we first met, I was 21, she was 18. So you're very different people and humans when you're that age versus now I'm 31, she's 27. Over the course of the years, I just continuously fell in love with her more and more, with the kind of human that she was becoming and that the relationship was becoming."

Tesla shares plunge as investors concerned over Musk, Trump feud

Investors bought hundreds of billions of dollars of Tesla stock after Donald Trump was elected on a bet that politics were more important than profits. In three hours Thursday, they learned yet again how dangerous that gamble could be. Shares of Elon Musk's electric vehicle maker plunged more than 14 per cent in a stunning wipeout as investors dumped holdings amid a bitter war of words between the president and the world's richest man. By the end of the trading day, US$150 billion of Tesla's value had been erased, more than what it would take to buy all the shares of Starbucks and hundreds of other big publicly traded U.S. companies. In after-hours trading, Tesla shares rose 0.8 per cent. The disagreement started over the president's budget bill, then quickly turned nasty. After Musk said that Trump wouldn't haven't gotten elected without his help, Trump implied that he may turn the federal government against his companies, including Tesla and SpaceX. Story continues below advertisement 'The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon's Governmental Subsidies and Contracts,' Trump wrote on his social messaging service Truth Social. 'I was always surprised that Biden didn't do it!' 1:17 Trump 'very disappointed' in Elon Musk after billionaire calls his budget bill an 'abomination' The drop on Thursday partially reversed a big runup in the eight weeks since Musk confirmed that Tesla would be testing an autonomous, driverless 'robotaxi' service in Austin, Texas, this month. So much of its real business selling electric cars is struggling now and so it needs the promise of a new age of driverless cars to be realized— and fast. 'The whole goal of robotaxis is to have them in 20 or 25 cities next year,' said Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives, one of Tesla's biggest fans, but now worried. 'If you start to heighten the regulatory environment, that could delay that path.' Story continues below advertisement He added, 'There is a fear that Trump is not going to play Mr. Nice Guy.' Trump's threat to cut government contracts seems targeted more to another of Musk's businesses, SpaceX, than his car company. The privately held rocket company has received billions of dollars for sending astronauts and cargo to the International Space Station, providing launches and doing other work for NASA. The company is currently racing to develop a mega rocket for the space agency to send astronauts to moon next year. A subsidiary of SpaceX, the satellite internet company Starlink, appears to also have benefited from Musk's once-close relationship with the president. On a trip with Trump to the Middle East last month, Musk announced that Saudi Arabia had approved Starlink for aviation and maritime use. Though its not clear how much politics has played a role, a string of other recent deals in Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and elsewhere has come as Trump has threatened tariffs and sent diplomats scrambling to please the president. One measure of SpaceX's success: A private financing round followed by a private sale of shares in recent months reportedly valued it at an US$350 billion, up from an estimated US$210 billion a year ago. 3:05 'He's flat out wrong': Musk's comments on Trump's 'Big Beautiful Bill' stirs ire of Republicans Now all that is possibly in danger. Tesla shares got even a bigger lift from Musk's close relationship with Trump, initially at least. Story continues below advertisement After the presidential election in November, investors rushed into the stock, adding more than US$450 billion to its value in a few weeks. The belief was that the company would see big riches as Trump eased regulatory oversight of Tesla. They also were betting that the new administration would embrace Musk's plans for millions of cars on U.S. roads without drivers behind the wheel. After hitting an all-time high on Dec. 17, the shares retreated as Musk's time as head of a government cost-cutting group led to boycotts and a hit to Tesla's reputation. They've recently popped higher again after Musk vowed to focus more on Tesla and its upcoming driverless taxi launch. Now investors aren't so sure, a worry that has translated into big paper losses in Tesla stock held by Musk personally — down US$20 billion for the day.

Trump accuses 'Mr. Nice guy' of violating trade agreement, markets respond

Trump accuses 'Mr. Nice guy' of violating trade agreement, markets respond originally appeared on TheStreet. President Donald Trump accuses China of breaching a preliminary trade agreement, escalating tensions amid ongoing tariff and policy disputes. Bitcoin is trading at $105,438.10 at press time, while the broader crypto markets are still in the red. Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to say, "So much for being Mr. Nice Guy.' The allegations come after current U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer has made a string of outspoken comments regarding China's non-compliance with its trade agreement. Greer voiced that the U.S. is "very concerned with China's non-compliance on trade" and that Beijing's behavior on trade is "completely unacceptable.' Greer asserted that the Chinese have been "slow on removing some tariffs countermeasures," suggesting that promised trade reforms have not materialized. He also indicated that, as an ongoing series of reports, the administration's total focus is on "monitoring China's compliance". He also noted that reports of there being attempts to encourage a direct call from Trump and Chinese President Xi right now are invaluable, particularly in this murky market and given the heightened uncertainty of the global trading vantage as of late. On May 12, Trump agreed to go with only a 30% tariff on China for 90 days. However, some netizen groups are claiming that the president might even go as far as to impose a 1000% tariff on China, but no such official statements have been made yet by the White House. Crypto markets are increasingly sensitive to macro policies. For instance, in 2019, Bitcoin rose 21% in a month during the tariff escalations, which was seen as a hedge against geopolitical risk. Additionally, in October 2022, BTC increased by 8.5% after weak U.S. manufacturing data was released, indicating possible Fed policy easing, as per Glassnode. ‘The White Lotus' Season 3: Who Is the Shooter?

The White Lotus resort chain should be known for its body count as much as for the luxury at this point. Season 3 of the HBO series is finally starting to add suspicion to a number of the guests staying at the Thailand location. Some suspects already hold some real likelihood – here's looking at you Greg and Rick – while others are just giving slightly off energy. There's a shooter walking among the many people staying at the wellness resort, and these are the most likely to be the one with the gun when the season finale rolls around in a couple weeks. Note: This story will be updated as new clues are revealed the rest of Season 3 Greg (Jon Gries) — or Gary depending on when you met him — is the only person in the orbit of the upcoming shooting with blood on his hands. It's already a known fact, at least to 'The White Lotus' fans, that he arranged Tanya's (Jennifer Coolidge) death so he could inherit her money. What is he willing to do to keep that secret hidden now that Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) has clocked him from his stay at the Maui White Lotus? If there's someone to be worried about, for the third season in a row it's Greg. — Jacob Bryant The list of potential 'White Lotus' killers this season is long (see: this article), but only one character has so far expressed a desire for revenge/violence of any kind, and that's Rick (Walton Goggins). He has made his vendetta against resort co-owner Jim Hollinger (Scott Glenn) very clear. Combine that with certain references to his shady past, and Rick just seems, well, extremely suspicious. So, while it wouldn't be the most surprising twist for him to be the man behind this season's shooting, Rick has done more than enough to warrant his place on this list. — Alex Welch Since its second episode, there have been no more robberies in 'The White Lotus' Season 3. It would be really weird, though, if there isn't at least one more break-in or robbery attempt this season, and that seems like an easy inciting incident for a shootout. If you, like myself, also believe that Valentin's (Arnas Fedaravicius) newly introduced Russian buddies, Aleksei (Julian Kostov) and Vlad (Yuri Kolokolnikov), are the masked robbers who assaulted Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong) in Episode 2, then the odds of them having something to do with this season's violent climax only seem even more likely. — AW Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong) exudes Nice Guy energy. Which can either be a sweet and wholesome thing or a real problem. It's no surprise at this point Gaitok is harboring a Grade A crush on Mook (Lisa) and is ready to lock it down. He wants to get a promotion to bodyguard to prove himself to her. Could he end up waving around a gun on the resort in his pursuit of that? Maybe by stepping in with the White Lotus robbers as a way to earn some clout and respect? It's all possible. Don't let Gaitok's sweetie energy distract you. — JB The entire Ratliff family is a nightmare to behold, and on paper Lochlan (Sam Nivola) seems like the most innocent of the bunch. That exterior could be harboring a quiet, anxious kid ready to snap at any moment. There are plenty of reasons for him to turn on his brother or even his parents, but after Episode 4 saw his sister Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) reveal she was planning to move to Thailand he seemed personally offended. Those feelings of abandonment could lead the kid to make a rash decision. — JB Victoria (Parker Posey) doesn't exactly scream 'gun-wielding murderer.' She is, however, very judgmental and very paranoid, which are two qualities that form a dangerous combination in a show like 'The White Lotus.' Considering her family's life is (unbeknownst to her) about to take a sharp downward turn, her becoming a bit unhinged and violent doesn't seem like an impossibility. Plus, what's she going to do now that her husband has stolen all the pills that supposedly help keep her so calm and relaxed? — AW Like Rick, Tim (Jason Isaacs) is a bit of an obvious pick at this point, but obvious does not equal wrong. The killer of 'The White Lotus' Season 1 did, after all, turn out to be the guy who had been an unrepentant, hot-headed dirtbag the whole time. And Tim did just steal a gun and state explicitly that he'd rather die than go to jail. Him doing something stupid with that gun feels like an inevitability. His eventual mistake being responsible for the shooting that starts 'The White Lotus' Season 3 just seems a bit less likely right now, at least compared to the other possible outcomes and suspects on this list. — AW The monkeys are not behind the shooting. Full stop, end of discussion. Unless…. — JB 'The White Lotus' airs Sundays on HBO and Max. The post 'The White Lotus' Season 3: Who Is the Shooter? appeared first on TheWrap.
