Chinese-Australian commercial photographer Nicholas Wong, who has shot many top Hong Kong restaurants, has been based in the city since 2018. He spoke to Andrew Sun. I've always gravitated toward big, bold flavours. I tend to prefer street food over fine dining. For me, you get a real sense of a place by eating what everyday people eat. I grew up in outer suburban Melbourne, where my parents worked hard in Chinese takeaway restaurants that catered to Western tastes. Most nights, dinner was whatever leftovers they brought home – so my early food memories revolve around classic Chinese-Australian dishes. President Aoun receives Global law firm "Clifford Chance" delegation
President of the Republic Joseph Aoun afternoon received at Baabda Palace, a delegation from the international law firm 'Clifford Chance', which included Nicholas Wong, Mohammed Al-Shukairy, Deborah Zandstra, Jonathan Lewis, and Lynn Ammar. The delegation briefed President Aoun on the role of the international law firm in addressing outstanding issues, particularly financial and economic ones, in light of the experience it has gained in this field. The delegation members discussed the measures the Lebanese government should adopt to address the Eurobond issue in a manner that simultaneously safeguards the rights of the Lebanese state and bondholders.
