The Young and the Restless spoilers: Will Amanda finally expose Cane's secrets as Nick and Devon race to solve the case?
Things are heating up in France as The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, July 16, tease that Nick is no longer just a spectator. While Chance may be leading the official investigation into Damian's (Jermaine Rivers) stabbing, Nick (Joshua Morrow) finds himself drawn into the mystery — and lands on a clue the professionals seem to have missed. Until now, Nick's role in France has mostly involved keeping others calm. He's been reassuring Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Claire (Hayley Erin), offering some reluctant praise to Adam (Mark Grossman), advising Sharon (Sharon Case) to eat better, and telling Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to rethink her erratic decisions. Basically, it's been business as usual for Nick — whether in Genoa City or across the ocean. But Damian's stabbing has changed that. It's not just a metaphor this time — it's real, and Nick is convinced he knows who's behind it… and more importantly, why they did it. Devon has his own theory Nick isn't the only one playing detective. Devon (Bryton James), who's also been keeping busy during the France trip, has his own take on what happened to Damian. He's spent his time warning Cane (Billy Flynn) about his behavior, reminding Lily (Christel Khalil) of Cane's past, and criticizing Amanda (Mishael Morgan) for defending Cane. And of course, Devon has assured Abby (Melissa Ordway) that Dominic is fine back home. Despite his full schedule of opinions, Devon now turns his focus to Damian's stabbing. Like Nick, he has a theory — and he's just as sure of the motive. Amanda demands the truth from Cane Amanda isn't particularly swayed by Devon's comments — or by Nick's newfound detective role. What she cares about is the truth. And for that, she turns to Cane. Amanda knows enough to suspect Cane is hiding something. She's already pieced together parts of the puzzle — the who and the how. But now she wants answers about the why. And this time, she won't accept half-truths or evasion. Cane needs to be honest, because Amanda is done guessing. As suspicions grow and truths emerge, the characters face revelations that may alter everything they thought they knew in France.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers, July 16 Episode: Will Nick's Dagger Discovery Expose Cane?
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, July 16, reveal more twists for fans as Nick makes a surprising discovery while Cane's decisions continue to cause trouble. Chance's investigation into Damian's murder gets complicated as Cane tries to control the narrative. Meanwhile, Devon starts putting the pieces together, which could bring even more problems for Cane and Amanda. Cane refuses police help Cane will open up to Amanda about the details surrounding Damian's death. He explains that Chance is leading the investigation privately. Cane is paying Chance half a million dollars to handle this quietly instead of involving the police right away. This leaves Amanda worried about how it could backfire. She warns Cane that refusing to involve the police could make him look suspicious. But Cane stands firm, telling Amanda this is the only way to protect himself for now. While Cane tries to stay ahead of the situation, Devon will start connecting the dots. Devon doesn't trust Cane, especially after everything that happened with Lily. Now, with Damian gone, Devon believes Cane could be behind the murder to remove a rival. Devon knows Chance sees everyone as a suspect, but he's convinced Cane is the main one to watch. Devon's suspicions may add more tension to the investigation and could push Chance to dig deeper. Nick finds the missing dagger The biggest twist in Wednesday's Young and the Restless episode comes when Nick makes a major discovery. The dagger used to kill Damian has disappeared, but Nick might stumble upon it. Where the dagger turns up could make things worse for Cane, especially if it's found somewhere that ties him to the crime. However, if the evidence points in another direction, Nick might choose to keep it hidden and run his own investigation. Nick may feel the need to protect Phyllis, who is connected to the situation. Instead of turning everything over to Chance, Nick could do some digging himself. He wants to know what really happened before any more damage is done.

Young and the Restless Spoilers July 16: Nicholas Newman, PI
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, July 16, prove that Chance isn't the only one who can investigate Damian's stabbing in France, as Nick jumps on the case – and makes a discovery the professionals missed. Nick (Joshua Morrow) hasn't had much to do in France. He's been there to tell Victor (Eric Braeden) how smart he is. He's been there to tell Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) not to worry about Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Claire (Hayley Erin). He's been there to grudgingly admit Adam (Mark Grossman) is a good climber, to urge Sharon (Sharon Case) to eat more fruit, and to tell Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) she's acting crazy and making bad decisions. So, you know, more or less the same things he does back in Genoa City. But now that Damian (Jermaine Rivers) has been stabbed in the back — and not as a metaphor — Nick thinks he knows whodunit. And, most importantly, why…. MORE: Jermaine Rivers said goodbye to Damian. But Nick isn't the only one looking over the clues and coming to conclusions. Devon (Bryton James) also wants to get into the act. He's been busier than Nick while in France. Devon has been busy telling Cane (Billy Flynn) what a bad man he is, and telling Lily (Christel Khalil) what a bad man Cane is, and telling Amanda (Mishael Morgan) how wrong she is to think that Cane isn't bad, and assuring Abby (Melissa Ordway) that Dominic will be fine back home. The kid has parents to spare! (What a shame three-fourths of them are currently out of town.) But now that Damian has been stabbed in the back — and not as a metaphor — Devon thinks he knows whodunit. And, most importantly, why…. WATCH NOW: Soap fans, don't miss this Soap Hub Says podcast! Amanda doesn't care what Devon has to say. Or Nick, for that matter. But she does care about what Cane has to say. She knows what he's done and how he's done it. But now he needs to tell her why. And the truth, this time. Know what's coming next? Prove it by emailing news@

The Jonas Brothers' music 'has aged very well'
Nick Jonas thinks The Jonas Brothers' music has "aged very well". The chart-topping pop group - which includes Nick and his brothers, Kevin and Joe Jonas - are currently preparing for their 20th anniversary tour, and Nick loves that the band have evolved with their fans. Speaking to People, he explained: "It's aged very well. It's one of those things where we've looked out and seen the fan base really evolve and change and there's sort of a generational aspect to it now when you think about it. "The people that were our age back when we were teens touring and making music are our age now and they've grown up and they're bringing their kids to the shows, but their parents that brought them when they were in their youth still want to come." Nick, 32, loves seeing how different groups of fans connect to particular songs. The singer - who is married to movie star Priyanka Chopra - said: "It's great to look out there and see such a really interesting mix and to see that the songs they respond to are a reflection of that." The Jonas Brothers announced plans for their JONAS20: Living the Dream Tour earlier this year. The brothers - who have also enjoyed success as solo artists - admitted at the time that they "can't wait" to hit the road in August and perform in front of their loyal fans. They said in a statement at the time: "We're beyond excited to hit the road and celebrate 20 years of music. "Our fans have been with us through every chapter, and this tour is our way of honouring them, the memories we've made, and the ones we'll create together. We can't wait to make this our biggest, most unforgettable tour yet." The band will play 42 dates in the US and Canada on their JONAS20: Living the Dream Tour. The Jonas Brothers will begin the North American tour at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 10, and the tour will conclude at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut on November 14.
