We're officially past the halfway mark and stepping into July, team, and it's time for another round of our weekly Staff Favourites! Each week, we try to show off some things that have brought us some joy in the hopes it'll help you find your own, and this week we're showcasing some delicious food – a lot of delicious food, actually. Turns out we all love a good meal – shocker! So prep your taste buds (and smell receptors), and dive into this week's Staff Favourites. Coach For Men Eau de Parfum | Image: Supplied Coach For Men Eau de Parfum Nick Hall – Editor-in-Chief I've always been a fan of Coach fragrances, right from my very first EDT, so when the famed New York maison dropped a new Eau de Parfum, I was cautiously optimistic. Coach For Men doesn't disappoint. Crafted by perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou, the latest fragrance has all the elements of a perfect summer addition, bursting with citrus highlights and the captivating spice of cardamom. Coach describes this one as its 'boldest scent yet', and I have to agree. Where the brand's other releases, particularly those on the more masculine side, have favoured earthy tones, Coach For Men feels like a fresh hit of florals underpinned by a subtle, if not slightly traditional, cedarwood complexity. If you are looking for a fragrance that feels as fresh as a summer's day, Coach has you covered. Favourite Article of the Week: The Cinematic Seven: Superman, The Naked Gun, and Spinal Tap All Turn It Up To 11 Rabanne Invictus Victory Absolu Parfum Intense | Image: Rabanne Rabanne Invictus Victory Absolu Parfum Intense Scott Purcell – Co-Founder I've not always been a huge fan of the Invictus fragrances, as they tend to be on the sweeter side for me and more suited to a younger generation, but this new 'Rabanne' release changed all of my preconceptions. It has a woody and clean scent to it with a hint of black pepper: it's meant to be inspired by the clash of fresh waves on a warm volcanic rock, but I've never been to a volcano so I can't confirm how close they got. I can say that the matte black of the bottle does give a basalt kinda vibe. If you're on the look out for a new fragrance, I'd definitely recommend checking it out next time you're travelling or at Myer or DJ's. I went just three weeks after it launched, and it was already buzzing yet felt intimate enough for a date night or a group celebration. Set inside the beautifully restored Whiteman's Arcade, the space combines heritage character with modern art-filled style. The menu, crafted by ex-Quay chef Jason McQueen, leans modern Australian with Japanese touches, celebrating local produce and wood-fire flavours. We over-ordered, deciding that two mains plus a side of a giant sashimi platter was perfectly reasonable (and honestly, no regrets). Every dish that came out was on point, with tender cuts from their own cattle farm and beautifully fresh seafood. Honestly, for anyone in the area looking for something genuinely special, Argyle House is well worth booking. We visited on a Friday evening and ended up staying for three hours. The place was buzzing with groups of colleagues after work, staff mingling with guests, and a clear sense of community. Co-owners Eduard and Julie gave us the full experience – a distillery tour next door (Otter Craft Distilling), personalised cocktail recommendations, and stories about the business of whiskey making, all in a completely unpretentious manner. Speaking of cocktails, the drinks menu at Bar 26 is a cocktail lover's dream – imaginative, layered, and a perfect reflection of their in-house distillery. Here's the cocktails we tried: Truffle Porter Flip – A decadent blend of OCD Single Malt, truffle, walnut, whole egg, and barrel-aged imperial porter. – A decadent blend of OCD Single Malt, truffle, walnut, whole egg, and barrel-aged imperial porter. Tiramisu Martini – The night ended on a high with this dessert-in-a-glass, blending Mary St Coffee Liqueur, OCD Cocoa Vodka, wattleseed, tonka bean and dulce de leche. To eat, Eduard's handmade pizzas were standouts – the Garlic Prawn was a showstopper, and the Nduja, capsicum and goat's cheese brought a perfect heat. Bar 26 doesn't try too hard – and that's its charm. It's thoughtful, unpretentious, and built on real passion. A spot you'll want to stumble upon again and again. Safe to say, things are a little bit hectic right now. The great humans at Man of Many as well as a group of my close friends both gifted me vouchers to 'The Dinner Ladies' and it has just been such a huge help. It's not just about the delicious food that is super easy to prepare (normally just whack it in the microwave situation), it's about taking a mental load off whilst you are juggling two kids. Every piece feels feather-light yet looks runway-ready. My top pick is the Mesh Full-Zip Track Jacket, where sheer mesh floats over sweat-wicking WovenAir to deliver airflow with structure. Unlined mesh sleeves dial up the breathability, while the relaxed cut, ribbed trims and two-way zip are perfectly detailed. Mostly recycled fibres keep the eco-credentials strong, and the all-black palette slides effortlessly from a morning coffee run to a quick workout. Close behind is the Layered Mesh Linerless Short 8″. Nash's signature seam lines and contrast mesh panels give the shorts real visual depth, and the same WovenAir base keeps things cool, dry and comfortable in the nether regions. While the eight-inch inseam lands just on the knee for a stylish, relaxed fit, complemented by an inside-or-out drawcord and discreet together or separately, these monochrome techwear staples move smoothly from intense training to laid-back living. Richard Mille is Making Motorcycles Now: Meet the RMB01

Watchmaker Richard Mille has teamed up with motorcycle manufacturer Brough Superior to create the RMB01 , a unique track-focused bike. , a unique track-focused bike. The collaboration comes after 18 months of testing and design, in which 12 shared iterations of the design were conceived. of the design were conceived. The Richard Mille x Brough Superior is a limited edition of 150 motorcycles, available from the end of 2025 in three versions: Nocturnal Sapphire (midnight blue with blue details), Selene (matt grey with orange details) and Pearl of Speed (pearlescent white with red details). In the world of watchmaking, few names elicit a more divisive reaction than Richard Mille. The ultra-luxury producer has built an esteemed reputation for timepieces that push the boundaries of avant-garde design, taking functionality and style to their very extremes. For some, Richard Mille is the ultimate encapsulation of the modern horological endeavour, but for others, vivid colourways and intricate skeletonised dials are all just too much. In the case of high-end motorcycle manufacturer Brough Superior, however, Richard Mille is the perfect fit. Richard Mille RMB01 Motorcycle | Image: Richard Mille The two entities have joined forces for a brand new collaboration that sees Richard Mille step into the world of motorcycle production. The brand famously sponsors a string of athletic pursuits, from being McLaren Racing's major partner to its long and storied love affair with regatta racing, but the Brough Superior venture charters a bold new course. And it's already proving fruitful. To mark the hard launch of their new relationship, Richard Mille and Brough Superior have unveiled the RMB01, a unique track-focused bike that fuses the spirit of the two great innovators. As you expect from Richard Mille, founder of the eponymous brand, and Thierry Henriette, CEO of Brough Superior, the new motorcycle does play up to aesthetic codes. The duo reportedly spent 18 months working on the design of the bike, conceiving 12 iterations before finally landing on the dramatic and thought-provoking final proof. Taut and muscular with a dynamic 'feline' silhouette, the same extensive skeletonisation characterises the RMB01 you would see on a Richard Mille timepiece. Richard Mille RMB01 Motorcycle | Image: Richard Mille Richard Mille RMB01 Motorcycle | Image: Richard Mille Richard Mille RMB01 Motorcycle | Image: Richard Mille Under the hood, the RMB01 is powered by a sculptural 997cc twin-cylinder engine machined from solid blocks of high-quality aluminium. Each component is optimised through precision machining and hollowed out, leaving only 23kg of finished parts from the initial 160kg of raw material. The result is an engine that is lighter and flexible for the demands of both track and everyday life. Admittedly, this approach has culled a little bit of power, with the RMB01 producing around 130 bhp; certainly nothing that will top a podium, but more than enough to keep the engagement levels high. Throw in the carbon chassis, which the manufacturer describes as a 'veritable self-supporting exoskeleton', and you've got a bike that feels very much faithful to the Richard Mille design aesthetic. Even the artifices have been removed to keep with the thematic elements. Entirely handcrafted in France, the RMB01 will be released as an exclusive edition of 150, individually numbered motorbikes. It will be available from the end of 2025 in three versions: Noctural Sapphire (midnight blue with blue details), Selene (matt grey with orange details) and Pearl of Speed (pearlescent white with red details). There is no official word yet on how much one of these bikes will set you back, but if they are priced in the same vein as Richard Mille's watches, you might want to get you loan application sorted. The weather is cooling down and Sydneysiders are retreating to the comfort of their cozy couches and warm living rooms, making it the ideal time to catch up on some light reading. In this week's Feel-Good Friday, we are shining a spotlight on the unique and prosperous citizens taking up the good fight and doing good by their communities. Join us as we pay tribute to those who give selflessly. Steggles Launches 'The Charity Chook' | Image: Steggles Steggles Charity Chook With cost of living pressures putting a strain on almost everything, charitable endeavours are probably the last thing on your mind. What's more, you aren't alone. New data has revealed that nearly one in three (28 per cent) of Australians are donating less to charity now than they did a year ago. This comes amid reports that of the 70 per cent of Australians who actively support charities, over a third (35 per cent) admit they don't feel financially comfortable enough to give regularly. To combat the issue, chicken producer Steggles has launched The Charity Chook, a new initiative in which 30c from every purchase in July will go directly to Australian children's charities. The brand has reimagined its famous Steggles Family Roast with custom packaging created in collaboration with acclaimed illustrator Daniel Grey-Barnet. The design features heartfelt artwork inspired by three Australian families who have been supported by Ronald McDonald House Charities, and their cherished memories created around the dinner table. 'Bringing joy through illustration has always been a passion of mine, so partnering with Steggles to create the Charity Chook packaging was truly special,' Grey-Barnet said. 'As a parent, I was deeply moved by the stories of Savi, Henry, and Haisley – each filled with resilience, love, and hope. It was an honour to help capture that warmth through my artwork. My hope is that every pack brings a smile to the dinner table, while also helping families dealing with hardship.' Steggles Charity Chook will be available from Woolworths nationwide from 1 July 2025. To get involved, simply pick up a Steggles Charity Chook at Woolies throughout July and turn dinner into something truly meaningful. Karma Drinks Hits $1 Million Donated to Karma Foundation | Image: Karma Drinks Karma Drinks Hits $1 Million Donated to Karma Foundation Fair Trade and a B Corp beverage company, Karma Drinks has hit a significant milestone this week, officially surpassing $1 million donated to its philanthropic arm, Karma Drinks' Foundation. The charitable endeavour works to channel donations directly to its cola nut growers and their communities in Sierra Leone, delivering life-changing impact and helping to redefine ethical beverage production. Through the Karma Foundation, the company actively supports a range of community-led initiatives in Sierra Leone, including educational programs, infrastructure development, and environmental protection projects. These initiatives are chosen and managed by the local communities themselves, ensuring that support is tailored to their specific needs and priorities. 'In Sierra Leone, we say he who brings cola brings peace. Two or three bags of cola nuts can bring some good cash into my home,' late Chief Hindowa, Boma, Sierra Leone, Community Leader said. 'Then I can take care of my family. Before Karma Cola came, no vehicle entered Boma because there was no bridge, that was our obstacle. We were able to construct that bridge, so that whenever they invite the Paramount Chief, he would not fall off or go for a swim.' The journey of Karma Drinks began on New Zealand's Piha Beach, where three friends envisioned creating a cola that truly embodied the concept of 'karma.' Their ambition was to build an ethical business dedicated to sourcing ingredients that benefit the land, the people cultivating them, and the consumers enjoying the final product. Karma Drinks has doubled its revenue in the last four years and has big plans for growth. The brand is accelerating its expansion in Australia as part of a global growth strategy, aimed at doubling the size of its business within the next four years. The Cheaper Home Batteries Program starts on July 1 | Image: Solar Choice Solar Rebates Set to Boost Aussies this Tax Time If you've been thinking about getting solar, this tax time might be your best option. From July 1, the Australian Government is offering a 30 per cent upfront rebate on home battery storage, meaning you could score $4,000 off a typical system, no income test required. This all comes via the new Cheaper Home Batteries Program, which is a federal scheme designed to make clean energy storage affordable. According to Solar Choice, Australia's only instant online quote comparison site for solar & batteries, a typical 10kWh battery could save a household around $1,200 per year on power bills and cut roughly 4 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. The solar experts have unveiled a Battery Rebate Calculator to help make sense of the new rebate, explaining just how much you may be able to save. The company's calculator breaks down full government coverage, based on your battery size or brand. For more information, visit Solar Choice and see what you could be saving. Yes, that's right, we're already (almost) exactly halfway through 2025. Let that sink in. If you are feeling a little disappointed that you haven't made good on all those New Year's resolutions or managed to completely overhaul your life, don't stress. Think of this as a strong reset to get you back on track and running at 100 per cent. Take it from us; there's still a lot of progress to be made in 2025, and on a more topical note, there are many more Staff Favourites to come. Here's another. Dyson OnTrac over-ear headphones | Image: Supplied Dyson OnTrac Headphones Nick Hall – Editor-in-Chief For years, I've been a earbud fan, sticking loyally to my Sennheiser True Wireless 4s, but this week I finally made the change. Well, I was kind of forced to. After dropping an earbud and standing on it, the teeny, tiny headphones finally gave up and died, prompting me to look elsewhere for some auditory help. Thankfully, I have a set of Dyson OnTrac over-ear headphones that I generally use for studio purposes, mainly because they are fantastically for sound isolation, but also because I feel like a little too big and bulky to wear while running or out on the town. At least, that's what I thought. I have been using the OnTracs all week and honestly, I'm not sure what my apprehension was. The design is super ergonomic and they aren't anywhere near as large as I remember them being. In fact, the earcups feel more streaminlined than my wife's Panasonics and the sound quality has been an absolute game-changer. If you are looking to up your headphone game, Dyson has knocked these ones out of the park. Favourite Article of the Week: For Lark's Chris Thomson, Whisky-Making is All About the 'Intangibles' North Shore Sctt Purcell – Co-Founder It's pretty rare that I come across an Aussie production that I like, but Netflix's gripping new series North Shore is definitely one of them. A cross between a U.K. crime drama and Home and Away, the six-episode mini-series is a traditional murder mystery detective show with the familiarity of a city in which I grew up. Watching it, I wondered whether it had to be funded by Destination NSW or the City of Sydney, as the visuals, landscapes and filming of the city are just stunning. It's also a great story, and while the acting and weird attempts at Aussie accents sometimes throw you off, it's a gripping watch. Let's hope that there's more to come from Australian productions like this. As I was writing this, I had no idea that this came out in 2023 on Channel 10! Perhaps I'm late to the game on this one, but it's been my pick of the week. I've also got my annual boys' golfing trip coming up, and with a pretty trashy handicap, I thought it was time to up my game. At least in the gear I had. While I've got a decent set of clubs, I was lacking the added extras and accessories, so I forked out and bought the following. Feel free to use it if you want to splurge on your next trip! Favourite Article of the Week: 'F1 The Movie' Review: Brad Pitt Racer Delivers on the Need for Speed Me on the 'Two Men In Your Head Podcast' | Image: Frank Arthur/Man of Many Two Men In Your Head Podcast Frank Arthur – Co-Founder This week, I'm giving a shout-out to Damien House and Phil Hungerford, hosts of the show Two Men in Your Head on Koori Radio and podcast. The concept is straightforward: get blokes talking. Each episode, Damien invites footy legends, musos, community leaders and people with a personal story to share into the studio for an honest yarn about life's wins and wobbles. The concept is warm, witty and refreshingly free of judgement, offering a safe space to tackle men's mental health topics that are too often swept under the carpet. I ducked in earlier this week to share my story, growing up in regional Australia as an immigrant kid, building Man of Many, and the lessons learned along the way. If you're keen to listen, queue up Two Men in Your Head on Spotify podcasts or catch the show live on Koori Radio. Perched on top of the gorge in Joadja, the site offers uninterrupted views of the Wingecarribee River that stretch as far as the eye can see. There are just four campsites on the property, each privately tucked away among the trees. The natural separation gives you a real sense of peace and seclusion, the perfect setup to truly switch off and unwind. Sitting on 100 acres of land, the property has plenty of bushwalks for those who feel like exploring. Along the trails, you'll stumble across rustic tables and chairs strategically placed to soak up some truly incredible views, especially at sunrise and sunset. Other activities include spending time with the friendly farm animals: horses, a donkey, an alpaca, and a lively mix of free-ranging peacocks, chooks, ducks, and guinea fowl, making it a truly family-friendly campsite. Got a furry friend? No dramas, they're welcome too. The campsite host, Leanne, takes things to the next level by providing a gourmet hamper service that can be delivered to your campsite. After spending the day hiking and exploring, coming back to a premade hamper to enjoy around a fire was a day maker. If you're into camping, Joadja Gorge Retreat & Camping should definitely be on your list. It was a magical time and a place I'm itching to get back to. Denis Villeneuve to Helm Bond 26 Rob Edwards – Branded Content Editor While it's a less conventional choice than the endless parade of jackets, sunglasses, watches, and guitars I usually put forward for Staff Favourites, this week I feel compelled to include the announcement that Denis Villeneuve will be taking the reins for the next instalment in the Bond franchise. As much as I enjoy the Bond movies, I'm a much bigger fan of Villeneuve, and the thought of this singular talent applying his mastery to one of cinema's most enduring franchises makes me giddy, particularly as he'll be laying the foundation for an entirely new incarnation of the world's most famous spy. Why am I so excited? Well, this is the man responsible for Sicario, Blade Runner 2049, the outstanding Dune movies, and Prisoners, to name a few. But above all, if you want to know what he's really capable of, be sure to investigate his incredible 2010 film Incendies. Just be warned that it will haunt you forever. Favourite Article of the Week: Denis Villeneuve Bond Film Confirmed: 'Dune' Director to Helm Next 007 Movie Chernobyl Alex Martinez – Media Sales and Brand Partnerships Definitely late to the party on this HBO miniseries (released in 2019), but Chernobyl is a really great watch. It's only five episodes so you can smash this out in a week if you try hard enough. The series captures the harrowing truth of the nuclear disaster with realism and emotional depth. The performances, writing, and cinematography are all exceptional, creating a gripping and unforgettable viewing experience. It scored 95% on Rotten Tomatoes and 9.3/10 on IMDB so don't just take my word for it. Favourite Article of the Week: Tackling the Tough Stuff: Keegan Hipgrave on Mental Health

Japanese watchmaker Seiko is no stranger to high-quality, ultra-affordable timepieces. The brand's Speedtimer line remains one of the best value-for-money collections on the market today, courtesy of its robust architecture, uncluttered design elements and stellar, if a little unexciting, movements. In essence, the Speedtimer represents Seiko at its most accessible; a watch collection that offers a little something for everyone without the need to break the bank. Its latest effort takes this ethos to new heights. Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC955P: Tokyo 2025 World Athletics Championships Limited Edition | Image: Seiko Announced in the lead-up to the 2025 World Athletics Championship, the Prospex Speedtimer: SSC955P World Athletics Championship Limited Edition is a dazzling new utilitarian piece that fuses contemporary design elements with functional ergonomics. It bears all the hallmarks you'd expect from the much-loved sports-watch range, from the sharp angled lugs to the highly legible Tachymetre function, but the major advantage, as with all Speedtimers, is the integration of the calibre V192 Solar movement. This power source, which features in all Speedtimer watches, is best characterised by its 60-minute chronograph function, 24-hour sub-dial and a power reserve indicator, which can be displayed at the touch of a button. As one of the brand's most accurate and versatile movements, the calibre V192 remains a serious selling point for Seiko and the integration of the movement on this release feels entirely fitting.
