Nearly 20 years after the first installment in the blockbuster Twilight series premiered, fans are still just as devoted as ever to the actors who played the iconic sparkly-skinned immortals — so it's not a huge surprise that a recent reunion between two members of the Cullen family sparked some serious online gossip. In a clip shared to TikTok this week from a recent convention, Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen) and Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale) snapped a joint selfie, laughing as they tried out different poses. Facinelli, 51, and Reed, 37 — who played "father and daughter" in the movies — were super affectionate with each other in the sweet video, which was all Twihards needed to see before sounding off in the comments about the pair's relationship. "The hand placement????" one person wrote, with a second adding, "And he kisses her neck, too." "Ian where are you?" someone else wanted to know (referring to Reed's husband, actor Ian Somerhalder of The Vampire Diaries). "I'm here for the drama," another person declared. Other commenters dismissed the idea of a romance between the former co-stars. "OMG GUYS CALM DOWN HE PLAYED HER DAD AND THEY KNOW EACH OTHER FOR OVER TEN YEARS," one fan argued, as another gushed, "SO SWEET!! I love how they are still such close friends." One thing is certain: Reed and Facinelli are definitely good friends. During a virtual reunion on Instagram Live in 2020, Facinelli joked that Reed was his "favorite daughter" from the Twilight movies, per E! News. "I wrote to Nikki today and I said, 'You're my favorite daughter. Don't tell the others. You're my favorite child,'" he quipped, adding, "So whoever's on this live chat, don't tell the rest of the Cullens that she's my favorite," he teased. During the same chat, Reed reflected on their longstanding friendship. "We've all seen each other go through how many different chapters of life now? It's pretty wild," she told Facinelli. "When you started the first Twilight I think [your daughter] Fiona was 2 or 3," she continued. "Now I have a 3-year-old. NCIS: LA star Eric Christian Olsen and wife welcome fourth child just months after losing their home in wildfires
Just six months after losing their $1.35M Pacific Palisades home in the Los Angeles wildfires, Eric Christian Olsen and wife Sarah Wright Olsen have welcomed their fourth child. The 48-year-old Olsen and 41-year-old Wright Olsen announced in late February that they were expecting their fourth child. The actors tied the knot in 2012 and share son Wyatt Oliver, 11, and daughters Esme Olivia, 8 and Winter Story, 4. They shared a joint Instagram post with several new snaps with their newborn daughter - Ocean Rain Olsen. 'She's here!! Ocean Rain Olsen born 6/17 12:37am - 11 pounds 4 ounces,' the happy couple began in their caption. 'Grateful beyond words for our amazing team that helped us get her here safely during an incredibly complex birth. Cannot wait to share all the details of this day,' they added. They also thanked their friend, actress-turned-entrepreneur Nikki Reed, who they said, 'stayed with us all night to document this day.' The first snap showed Wright Olsen laying with her newborn, while the second black-and-white snap showed the couple embracing. The third pic was another with Sarah embracing her newborn, while the fourth showed both parents holding their new child. The fourth and final snap showed Ocean resting on a pillow and under a monogrammed blanket with her name on it. Just six months earlier, Sarah shared an Instagram post confirming their Pacific Palisades home had gone up in flames like so many others in early January. 'It's impossible to put into words these last few days. We are together and safe and surrounded by love. Thank you to uncle Dave and aunt Dani who took in so many of us. We lost our home. It was one of the first areas to go,' she began. 'Our kids have said 'we all took our first steps there.' It's so hard to say goodbye to our gorgeous town, our special school and this place we have loved for 13 years,' she added. 'But we are so so grateful we are together and for the outpouring of love. We have received so many messages from friends offering their homes, food, clothing, hugs, things for the kids, support and we are just blown away,' she added. 'It's what keeps making us tear up. Thank you it means so much to us. More soon,' she concluded with a red heart emoji. Olsen currently serves as an executive producer on CBS' new Matlock series starring Kathy Bates, with the star gifting her Critics Choice Award to Olsen in February after losing his home. 'I do take moments to digest, to acknowledge and authentically process what is lost - for me, that doesn't come with tears. BUT, I have been perpetually blown away, eyes pooled, tears racing by the kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity of our friends, family and complete strangers,' he said in a February 11 Instagram post. 'These acts of love came to a stunning crescendo at the Critics Choice Awards on Friday, where Kathy, my partner on Matlock and one of my legit heroes in this business, gave an acceptance speech that I can only describe as one of the most life-affirming and work-affirming moments ever,' he added. 'I found myself watching it, kids snuggled in, as tears streamed down my face. So emotionally blindsided by the absolute beauty of my friend's stunning thoughtfulness,' Olsen said.

The Young and the Restless aired an episode that felt like it was meant for Valentine's Day. Nikki and Victor, Diane and Jack, and Michael and Lauren declared their love for one another. But this was more than just a throwaway episode. It might've teased possible trouble for Genoa City's top couples. The Wednesday, May 21 episode of Y&R was strikingly different from the others that aired this week. It focused on the three golden couples: Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Diane (Susan Walters) and Jack (Peter Bergman), and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracy E. Michael will eventually cave to Victor, which will cause more issues in his marriage. Meanwhile, Diane's sneaky ways will cause trust issues in her marriage with Jack. As for Victor and Nikki? Ian Somerhalder , ' The Vampire Diaries ' actor, humorously revealed that he feels uncomfortable watching his wife's controversial film, 'Thirteen,' which is about underage substance and sexual abuse. While Nikki Reed did become famous, Ian can't seem to accept the semi-autobiographical film that she wrote and starred in. 'As a dad now, I watch it and I go, I throw up in my mouth a little bit. But it's incredible (that Nikki began her career) at 13,' Ian joked during a Thursday, April 24, interview on The Julia Cunningham Show. Nikki Reed's childhood Previously, Reed had mentioned that Ian avoids the rewatch of the film, with or without their two children - a daughter, 7, and a son, 1. 'I really embraced the fact that I grew [and] I lived on fast food and diet sodas, and I smoked cigarettes and I have the most wonderful mom who raised two kids in Los Angeles, making $16,000 a year on her own,' she said according to US Weekly. Furthermore, the ' Twilight ' actress expressed that she honours her journey arc, transforming her life from when she was young to now. 'I think it speaks volumes. … All of these were passion areas of mine that I pursued on my own, which, for anyone listening, curiosity is the best thing you can have. You keep that as a secret weapon in your pocket because as long as you remain curious and courageous, the transformation's incredible,' Nikki added. A life away from Hollywood The duo have moved to Southern California in the rural areas of a farm away from the chaotic city of Hollywood after getting married. In 2023, Ian shared his gratitude for living a peaceful, secluded life, stating, 'It's unbelievable when you see these amazing creature life forms.
