I stopped using it for a couple of weeks due to illness. I couldn't believe how my skin deteriorated. I started using this serum again and in no time my skin was really lifted. I'm amazed." Meanwhile another shopper added: "This serum is awesome. I'm 52 and started seeing loose skin on my neck and tried this, after just a couple of weeks I started seeing some definite tightening. I'm in love with this product, it is a great price. I can only say great things about it. I feel this product will help me hide my age a little better. Child killer Ian Huntley's cruel football shirt taunt inside prison
A murderer has sparked fury after wearing a Manchester United style shirt in prison in a reference to his victims. Ian Huntley is serving a life sentence for the murder of school girls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, both 10. The school caretaker was placed behind bars for at least 40 years in 2003 after the girls went missing the previous year. The last picture of Holy and Jessica showed them both wearing David Beckham's famous No 7 shirt which he donned while playing for the Red Devils. A source told the Sun that Huntley had purchased a plain red shirt from Sports Direct which he has fashioned to a 'as close to Man U top as he can'. Inmates are prohibited from wearing football shirts in order to avoid conflict with others. 'Everyone thinks he is doing it to satisfy his own sick mind, rather than for football reasons', the source clarified. They said that Huntley unveiled the top as the weather warmed up this year and now is seen wearing in on the way to healthcare or the gym. Huntley's red shirt had attracted a complaint from a fellow inmate in May, they added. Due to his 'high risk', the former caretaker is allegedly escorted everywhere by prison guards and had been attacked while in prison. But this had simply made the murdered 'brazen' and 'cocky', the source said. While prison officers are reported to have felt uncomfortable about the United-esque shirt, they are powerless to remove it as it doesn't strictly breach the rules. Former cabinet minister Robert Jenrick said: 'This disgusting murderer shouldn't be swanning around jail in a shirt designed to insult the memory of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman. 'It should be ripped off his back by prison officers. 'The family of those two poor girls are entitled to know that Huntley isn't getting any special treatment in jail, and that his life is as miserable as it can be made to be.' On August 4, Holly and Jessica were lured by Huntley into his home after they left a barbecue to buy sweets. Their bodies were found, hours after Huntley and his then girlfriend, teaching assistant Maxine Carr were arrested, on August 17 2002. Carr was sentenced to three years in prison for perverting the course of justice after she provided a false alibi to her then-boyfriend, and ended up serving two years. 'I tried Liz Earle's newest skincare products and got smooth, glowy skin by morning'
The British skincare brand has just expanded its 'Glow' range with the launch of two new products - the Restore & Glow Instant Radiance Serum and Revitalise & Glow Radiance Reveal Night Cream Over the last 30 years, Liz Earle has become a trusted household name, earning cult-status among skincare fans for its gentle yet effective botanical-inspired products. While I'm not quite old enough to have been using their formulas since their inception, a number of their best-sellers hold a coveted spot in my beauty rotation - so when the British skincare brand announced the launch of not one, but two brand new products, it's safe to say that my expectations were high. Earlier this month, the brand expanded their 'Glow' range - first launched in 2022 with their Cleanse & Glow Transforming Gel Cleanser - adding the Restore & Glow Instant Radiance Serum and Revitalise & Glow Radiance Reveal Night Cream to the line-up. And with bold claims of 'boosting skin's radiance instantly', I was eager to see if they lived up to their promises. The Instant Radiance Serum comes housed in a sleek 30ml pump bottle, and quickly impressed me with its lightweight texture and citrusy fragrance. The hero ingredient is Acerola Cherry, an exotic berry from South America that contains significantly more vitamin C than an orange and helps to brighten skin. It glides onto the skin and sinks in quickly without any stickiness or residue, however, due to the naturally exfoliating Prickly Pear, I find I can only use this product as part of my evening routine. As the product works to sweep away dead skin cells, I find that it begins to pill after a couple of hours, which doesn't work well under makeup. However, it's a great addition to a nightly regime, working overnight to reveal smoother, glowier skin by morning. My favourite product of the two was the Radiance Reveal Night Cream, which also contains Acerola Cherry and Prickly Pear, alongside Niacinamide and Lavender Flower Extract, designed to leave skin looking more rested. It has a rich and silky whipped texture and has been formulated to work with your skin's natural overnight repair cycle. At £28, there are plenty of alternative night creams available at a lower price, such as the No7 Radiance+ Vitamin C Daily Brightening Moisturiser, which costs £17.95. The No7 moisturiser targets wrinkles and illuminates dullness for an even complexion and renewed radiance. Meanwhile, the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow AHA Night Treatment 25ml is now £15.20. The powerful overnight resurfacing treatment works to gently exfoliate, hydrate, and brighten with a 2.5% pH-balanced AHA complex for smoother, firmer-looking skin. But there is a real sense of luxury with the Liz Earle cream that I've failed to find in more budget-friendly formulas. Coming in a heavyweight glass jar, it looks as good as it feels, with a rich and silky feel on the skin. After applying it nightly, I woke up to skin that felt hydrated, supple, and noticeably smoother to the touch, which meant my makeup went on like a dream the following morning. However, while I enjoyed the fragrance, it's worth noting that it's fairly strong, which might not sit well with those who prefer fragrance-free skincare, especially at night. Whether you're already a devoted fan or are looking to upgrade your routine, Liz Earle's new glow duo is a lovely addition to any skincare routine focused on boosting radiance.
