Kendrick Lamar Replaces Drake At No. 1 On A Billboard Chart

For the past year, Kendrick Lamar has been beating Drake left and right. He first ended a rap feud between the two with "Not Like Us," which has become perhaps the biggest hit of his career and was easily declared the top tune among all the diss tracks the two aimed at one another over a short span of time. Lamar's album GNX and its singles have kept many of Drake's releases at bay for the past several months. This week, Lamar scores another win on a Billboard ranking, stopping Drake in his tracks yet again. Lamar is in charge of the Rhythmic Airplay chart this week, as he rises to the summit with "Peekaboo," his collaboration with AZChike. Last frame, the tune sat at No. 4, and now it jumps to first place, becoming another champion for Lamar in its fourteenth frame on the tally. Lamar collects his eleventh No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay tally as "Peekaboo" climbs. Over the course of his career, he has landed 20 top 10s and 35 total appearances on the radio list. "Peekaboo" is another huge single taken from GNX, one of several that have hit No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay radio tally. Previous focus tracks from the project like "Squabble Up," "Luther" with SZA and "TV Off' with Lefty Gunplay have all spent time in first place. Lamar has been on quite the winning streak lately, as he's also added new No. 1s with "30 for 30" alongside SZA, and "Not Like Us," his longest-running ruler. All six of his tunes have dominated the ranking over the past year or so. Last week, Drake's "Nokia" was in charge of the Rhythmic Airplay tally, and now it dips to the runner-up rung. The Canadian hip-hop superstar made history just a few days ago when "Nokia" ruled, as it became his milestone fortieth No. 1 on the list. That's a landmark no other artist has come even close to. Amazingly, Drake claims more No. 1s than Lamar has total appearances on the Rhythmic Airplay chart. So while Lamar may be winning at the moment, Drake may be the true champion here.

He followed up with a groundbreaking halftime show, becoming the first solo hip-hop performer to headline the coveted slot. He is currently on the Grand National Tour with SZA. Doechii, Drake, Future and GloRilla tied for the second-most nominations with six. Metro Boomin pulled in five nods, while SZA and The Weeknd each scored four. Who are the show's performers? AMAs 2025: Jennifer Lopez Shrugs Off Ben Affleck Divorce, Kissing Backup Dancers During Performance

Jennifer Lopez isn't afraid to bring the heat on stage. The songstress made headlines for a kissing stunt with her backup dancers during her performance at the 2025 American Music Awards. Lopez shocked everyone when she locked lips with her dancers. This comes after her dramatic split from ex-husband Ben Affleck, which kept the couple in headlines for months. What happened on stage? Lopez opened the awards ceremony on Monday with a slowed version of Dance Again. She also delivered amazing moves to other hit songs, including Not Like Us by Kendrick Lamar, NUEVAVoL by Bad Bunny, Bird of a Feather by Billie Eilish, APT by Bruno Mars, and Rose, Denial is a River by Doechii, among others. During her performance, Lopez locked lips with both male and female backup dancers—a moment that quickly went viral across social media platforms. For her outfit, Lopez rocked a nude and black blingy jumpsuit. She looked flawless with makeup that perfectly matched her look, complemented by sleek honey blonde hair. How did netizens react to the steamy moment? People online have had mixed reactions to the stunt Jennifer Lopez pulled during her performance. One person on X wrote, '30 years of dancing, 55 years old, Jennifer Lopez STILL GOT IT!!! She will forever be an icon #Amas.' Another commented, 'Jennifer Lopez is literally one of the greatest performers of all time. This lady is almost 56 years old and performing better than people half her age. Damn. Damn. DAMN.' On the other hand, Tomi Lahren tweeted, 'Isn't it pathetic that every award show has to devolve into this weird cr*p? Jennifer Lopez is 55 fricken years old. This is an embarrassing cry for attention. Sad.' Meanwhile, many others shared their reactions using GIFs.

Jennifer Lopez's Eight AMAs Outfits Included Ab-Baring Gowns, Sheer Jumpsuits, and More

Leave it to Jennifer Lopez to have seven glamorous outfit changes in one night. At the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the multi-hyphenate kept the audience on their toes at yesterday's American Music Awards, where she was the evening's host for the first time since 2015. On the red carpet, she stunned in a nude Defaïence gown with a plunging neckline. She accessorized with gold heels and MARLI jewelry. She also wore the same dress onstage with Rod Stewart, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Lopez opened the show with a dance medley of some of this year's biggest hits, like Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us,' Billie Eilish's 'Birds of a Feather,' and Chappell Roan's 'HOT TO GO!' She began the performance in a black trench coat before taking it off to reveal a MICHAEL NGO nude and black rhinestone jumpsuit. As the evening progressed, Lopez maintained the sparkly theme. Later, she wore a Miss Sohee rhinestone gown with a high leg slit and a bright teal jacket with floral embroidery and puffy sleeves. She also paid homage to her hometown of the Bronx, New York, when she wore a Bronx & Banco jewel-adorned gown with elaborate cut-outs. She accessorized with diamond earrings and clear heels. She added to her neutral color palette for the evening with a black sequin jumpsuit, which featured even more cut-outs. And the glitz didn't end there. She also wore a striking gold sequin halter gown with two high leg slits and accessorized with gold heels and statement earrings. When she introduced Janet Jackson's performance ahead of Jackson receiving the Icon Award, she went for a blue strapless gown with exaggerated hip details. She accessorized with a diamond cuff and choker. In a pre-show interview with People, Lopez broke down her thought process for the night's outfits. 'I work with my stylist, and we kind of kick around ideas like, 'What do we want it to be for the performance and what do we want it to be for the hosting and what's our vibe?'' she said. 'We feel it out because I think it does change. For me, my feelings change from month to month, like, 'Who do I want to be today?' because I feel like there's so many different sides to who I am fashion-wise.' She added that her goal is to captivate the audience and keep them interested throughout the show. And after so many years in the public eye, she said that she now has quick outfit changes down to a science. 'We just have learned to do it so fast,' she explained. 'So I'm sure we hold a world record or something somewhere.'
