Nothing Phone 3 coming in July: Here's what we know so far about the flagship phone
Last week, Nothing, on its official X handle, confirmed that the Phone 3 will be coming sometime in July. The company's first-ever premium phone, said to offer a flagship experience, will most likely be powered by Qualcomm's newest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. And while nothing is certain at the moment, several leaks and rumours in the last few days have hinted that the Nothing Phone 3 will look different from the company's existing smartphone lineup. From design to price, here's everything we know so far about the Nothing Phone 3. On Thursday, May 29, Nothing shared a post on X saying that it has 'killed the Glyph interface.' This might mean that the Nothing Phone 3 may not feature the company's iconic Glyph interface and introduce a new design language that looks different from its existing offerings. Following the post, the company also shared a close-up shot of the Nothing Phone 3, and while it doesn't show much, the Phone 3 looks like it will fit right in with Nothing's quirky design approach. It's all in the details. Phone (3). Coming this July. — Nothing India (@nothingindia) May 27, 2025 On the hardware front, the Nothing Phone 3 is expected to sport the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Qualcomm's fastest chipset to date. According to Smartprix, the smartphone was recently spotted on the GSM database and has been reportedly certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) bearing the model number 'A024'. Several leaks and rumours have also hinted that the Nothing Phone 3 will sport a 120Hz 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Speculations also suggest that the phone will offer up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. All of this may be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 50W wired and 20W wireless charging. However, since nothing is certain at the moment, the company might opt to go with Silicon Carbon battery technology. The back of the Nothing Phone 3 is said to feature a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary lens, but there are no details about its ultrawide and telephoto sensors. As for the software, the upcoming smartphone will most likely run on Nothing OS based on Android 16 out of the box, but rumour has it that the Nothing Phone 3 will come with Android 15. Carl Pei has also said that the Nothing Phone (3) will be made from 'premium materials' and have 'software that really levels things up.' As for the price, Pei has confirmed that their upcoming flagship will be priced somewhere around 800 pounds, which means the phone will cost somewhere around Rs 90,000, but it won't be surprising to see the top variant crossing the Rs 1 lakh price tag.

Nothing Phone (3) launch soon in India and here is everything we know about it so far
Amid numerous smartphone launches, did you realise it's been about two years since the Nothing Phone (2) came out? That was the company's last flagship phone, and since then, the London-based tech startup has focused instead on its mid-range A-series devices and building its affordable sub-brand, CMF. Since last year, it was widely expected that Nothing would launch the third-generation Nothing Phone, but nothing (no pun intended) materialised. The company instead went back to the drawing board, saying they would only launch the Phone (3) when the time is right. Source: Nothing India/ X (formerly Twitter) advertisementLooks like the time is now, as it's confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3) is all set to break cover in July, exactly two years after the Phone (2)'s launch. While we don't have an exact date yet, July is just a month away, so there's not much time left to see what Nothing has been cooking. Here's everything we know so far about the upcoming Nothing Phone (3).Nothing Phone (3): What to expectHonestly, not much is known yet about the Nothing Phone (3), even though we're so close to its official launch. But going by the rumour mill, we do have a certain idea of what to expect. Carl Pei likes to be in the limelight, and we often see him making videos around Nothing products on the company's official YouTube channel. In one of the recent videos, he showed a blurred-out image of a phone, further stating that those who've been waiting for the Nothing Phone (3) might be sad to know that it won't be available at an affordable price, suggesting a significant price Evangelidis, Nothing's co-founder, also revealed in an X post that the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) will be the first true flagship the company has ever according to Carl Pei, the Phone (3) is going to cost around 800 Pounds, which roughly translates to Rs 92,000 in Indian currency. That's quite a jump, but not necessarily what we expect when the phone launches in India. The Nothing Phone (3) could be priced lower in the Indian market, adjusted to the purchasing power of Indian consumers, but still, don't expect it to be cheap. Industry experts are speculating a price tag of around Rs 60,000 to Rs 70,000, which will be a notable hike considering the Nothing Phone (2) was priced between Rs 44,999 and Rs 54,999. Of course, we'll get to know the official pricing soon enough — just don't keep your hopes up for a budget-friendly has also confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3) will feature high-end materials, a major jump in performance, and software improvements aimed at delivering a better overall experience. Based on that — and the rumours — the Phone (3) is expected to come with a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. In terms of optics, the device is said to sport a 50-megapixel triple-camera setup on the back and a 32-megapixel front camera. There have also been rumours about a 5,000mAh battery, 50W fast wired charging, and 20W wireless charging most interesting rumour so far is that the Phone (3) could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. That might have made complete sense had the phone launched last year, positioned as a next-generation upgrade to the Phone (2) with a slight price bump. But now, the Phone (2) is two years old, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is about 1.5 years old. With the Phone (3) being positioned as a true flagship, using the 8 Gen 3 — and pricing it around Rs 70,000 — would be a bold move. Considering the OnePlus 13, starting at Rs 69,999, and the iQOO 13, starting at Rs 54,999, both feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite the case may be, the Nothing Phone (3) is set to launch in July, and we should get all the answers soon.

Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro quick review: Promising upgrade over CMF Phone 1
'At CMF, we want to shake things up a bit,' said Nothing India head Akis Evangelidis as he launched the CMF Phone 2 Pro in India on April 28, 2025. The CMF Phone 2 Pro is only the second phone released under the CMF sub-brand. It is priced at Rs 18,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant (Rs 20,999 gets double the storage). Compared to the CMF Phone 1, the second-generation model brings a host of upgrades — the 'Pro' in the name is seemingly justified. There are improvements in the display, performance, and design, but the most significant upgrade is in the camera setup which appears to be a key focus area for Nothing this year. Nothing has realised that while its devices have stood out for their unique design and user interface, the cameras have held them back so far. However, with the launch of the Nothing Phone 3a series — particularly the 3a Pro — and now the CMF Phone 2 Pro, the company is trying to fix that issue. The relatively more affordable CMF Phone 1, though it was well-received, had a single camera doing all the heavy lifting. It had its moments, but there is only so much that one camera can do, which left big room for improvement for the sequel. Luckily, Nothing did not disappoint, at least as far as specs are concerned. With the Phone 2 Pro, it is taking a different approach — much like it did with the Nothing Phone 3a Pro — by offering a triple-camera setup. The CMF Phone 2 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary sensor, which is the same that the company used in the pricier Nothing Phone 3a. Then there is a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and up to 20x ultra zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 119.5-degree field of view. We are yet to take these cameras out for a full spin, having spent only a few hours on the phone, but what we have on paper seems very promising, especially for something that is priced below Rs 18,000. Moving on, the Phone 2 Pro also comes with a dedicated Essential key, similar to what we saw in the Phone 3a series. The button offers a few functions — few being the operative word — primarily using AI to sort information from your screenshots and pictures. It automatically organises relevant details in one place, saving you the trouble of doing it manually. That's certainly convenient, but the functionality feels limited. I found it a bit gimmicky in the Phone 3a series, and for now, I feel the same about the Phone 2 Pro. More on this in our full review. The CMF Phone 2 Pro also has a slightly different design. It looks more premium now. The mint green variant I have been using has a shimmery texture. The device is also sleeker at 7.8mm thickness. In fact, Nothing claims it's the company's thinnest phone ever. That said, the design feels like a slight departure from the signature industrial design (ID) of the CMF Phone 1. The modular functionality which we saw in the Phone 1 and which Nothing has tried to retain here as well, seems largely on an aesthetic level. You still see the exposed screws, but Nothing wants you to not open them as frequently as with the Phone 1 where it made DIY assembly a big deal. This is perhaps to accommodate the higher ingress protection. The Phone 2 Pro is IP54 (versus IP52 in Phone 1). The CMF Phone 2 Pro has a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display advertisement Importantly, the phone has a great in-hand feel. Despite its large 6.7-inch display, it feels comfortable to hold. The soft texture of the back and the soft edges have a nice feel. The phone's display has also been upgraded. It is bigger (6.7- versus 6.67-inch) and brighter (up to 3,000 nits). The panel is a 120Hz AMOLED with Panda glass protection. The bezels are slimmer, and the chin is almost gone. In terms of performance, Nothing has been making big claims. Although it uses the same MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset as the Phone 1, there's now a 'Pro' added to its name, with some under-the-hood improvements making it up to 10 percent faster (without increasing the core speeds). I haven't used the phone enough to comment on its performance yet, but Nothing is clearly targeting more demanding users, even gamers, with this model. The phone is said to support 120fps settings in gaming titles like BGMI — but I'll share more on that once I've tested it. And of course, the biggest buzz around the phone is that the CMF Phone 2 Pro comes with a charger in the box — a 33W adapter — along with a transparent case. Many brands these days no longer include chargers, a trend started by Apple, followed by Samsung, and then Nothing. However, Nothing India head Akis Evangelidis was clear that including the charger is something they are 'trying out,' and he clarified that the company isn't promising this for all future models. 'For now, we will be including the charger in the box,' he said. The Phone 2 Pro is an interesting device to review. It looks promising with all the upgrades, but now it's time to put them to the test and see how they hold up in the real world. We'll be sharing our detailed review of the CMF Phone 2 Pro very soon — stay tuned.

The company has refreshed its CMF phone lineup, with the launch of the CMF Phone 2 Pro in India today. No, there is no CMF Phone 2 — not yet, at least. The company has also not shared any confirmation about it till now. However, the existence of a Pro ideally suggests the existence of a non-Pro variant. We have also reached out to Nothing to confirm if and when the Phone 2 is coming. Now, back to the CMF Phone 2 Pro — it is the first phone under the CMF branding to come with a triple camera setup. It's also only the second phone under the CMF with the CMF Phone 2 Pro, the company also launched three new earbuds in India today. This includes the CMF Buds 2, CMF Buds 2+, and the CMF Buds 2a. But just like the Phone 3a Pro, the CMF Phone 2 Pro brings a bunch of upgrades to the phone with special focus on camera. The CMF Phone 2 Pro, as against the single camera setup on the CMF Phone 1, sports a 50-megapixel primary sensor (similar to the one on the Nothing Phone 3a), a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and up to 20x ultra zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 119.5-degree field of view. For selfies, it offers a 16-megapixel camera on the Similar to the Nothing Phone 3a series, the CMF Phone 2 Pro also comes with an Essential Space feature, which is basically a dedicated key that gives you quick access to voice notes, screenshots, photos, and more. It will use AI to organise files into categories instead of you needing to sort them Phone 2 Pro: Price and availabilityBut before we go deeper into the CMF Phone 2 Pro details. This offer, however, will be for a limited Phone 2 Pro: Key specifications and featuresThe CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset. Nothing claims that the processor is "up to 10 per cent faster CPU speeds" and has "up to 5 per cent improvement in graphics handling" compared to the Dimensity 7300 5G chip that powered the CMF Phone 1. Additionally, for supporting AI features, including the Essential Space, the phone features a 'next-generation NPU' that the company says is capable of handling "4.8 trillion operations per second".
