OAK CREEK, Wis. (WFRV) – While officers in southeastern Wisconsin were investigating a man driving on railroad tracks early Sunday morning, his friends showed up to get him, leading to OWI arrests for both drivers. According to the Oak Creek Police Department, third shift officers made three Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) arrests within 30 minutes on April 6. 14-year-old driver flees from Wisconsin authorities 3 times in one night, arrested after 4th try Officers were first called to a gas station for a fight inside a commercial vehicle. That driver was subsequently arrested for OWI. During the investigation, officers got a report of a vehicle on the railroad tracks near East Drexel Avenue. When officers got to the scene and began their investigation of the vehicle on the railroad tracks, the driver's friends reportedly arrived at the scene, allegedly trying to pick him up. Both drivers were eventually arrested for OWI. Officers noted that the friend of the driver on the railroad tracks allegedly had a blood alcohol content of over double the legal limit. According to the Oak Creek Police Department, officers were called to a gas station for a fight inside a commercial motor vehicle. The driver of that vehicle was found to be operating while intoxicated and arrested. That driver was also found to be operating while intoxicated, and arrested. During that OWI investigation, the driver's friends arrived at the scene, attempting to pick him up. The driver of that vehicle had a blood alcohol content of more than double the legal limit, and was arrested for OWI as well. The Oak Creek Police Department reminds everyone that if OCPD officers find you operating while intoxicated, you will be arrested, and to use sober drivers, ridesharing services, and other transportation. WISCONSIN (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin arrested a man and located a missing juvenile following an investigation into the possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). In January 2025, the Oak Creek Police Department received a referral from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding an Oak Creek resident allegedly in possession of CSAM. Wisconsin pregnant teen missing for 2 months found in Nebraska, man in custody Detectives launched an investigation, and in March 2025, they took the suspect into custody. During an interview, the suspect confessed and provided details about the amount of CSAM in their possession. Based on the information gathered, authorities obtained and executed a search warrant at the suspect's residence. A child interviewed during the investigation reported being sexually assaulted by the suspect. The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office has charged the suspect with second-degree sexual assault of a child and six counts of possession of child pornography. While working on the CSAM case, Oak Creek police also located a missing juvenile. Two Wisconsin officers hospitalized after pursuit through bike trail 'The Oak Creek Police Department has the resources, capabilities, and dedicated personnel to hold those accountable who harm the youth of our community,' the department stated. She was last seen on Saturday, March 15. Ramos is described as 5 feet tall and 120 pounds with black-and-gray hair in a ponytail and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater with a white turtleneck, blue jeans and black-and-green shoes. OAK CREEK, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southeast Wisconsin have released additional details regarding the disappearance and safe recovery of 13-year-old Lillian Asala. According to the Oak Creek Police Department, Asala was reported missing on March 1 after she was last believed to be headed to Abendschein Park on East Drexel Avenue. However, phone data suggested she may have been in the area of South Pennsylvania Avenue and East Forest Hill Avenue. Dozens of firefighters battle house fire for more than two hours in Wisconsin When her phone stopped providing location updates, officers expanded their search with assistance from law enforcement agencies in the Milwaukee metro area and surrounding counties. On March 2, police issued a public notice requesting help in locating her. That same day, a citizen found her phone in Abendschein Park and turned it over to authorities for analysis. Police used multiple investigative methods, including K-9 searches, drones, neighborhood canvassing, security camera reviews, interviews, and forensic data recovery. Searches also extended to properties belonging to family members, including Asala's noncustodial mother, Luisa Asala. By March 4, after all leads had been exhausted, police issued a Wisconsin Crime Alert for a missing endangered person. Authorities explained that an Amber Alert was not issued because the case did not meet the required criteria. On March 7, detectives reviewing phone records linked Luisa Asala to a residence in Watertown. While officers surveilled the location, Oak Creek detectives located Luisa in Racine County. During questioning, she confirmed that Lillian was in the Watertown residence. Officers recovered Lillian safely, and she was found in good health. Wisconsin authorities warn high school students about 'Nerf Wars' dangers Luisa Asala was arrested and has remained in the Milwaukee County Jail since March 7. On March 12, the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office charged her with interfering with child custody. Authorities said additional charges are being considered for others who may have assisted her. The Oak Creek Police Department thanked the community for its support and assistance during the investigation. The case remains active, and no further details are available at this time.
