Odisha Medical Officer Exam 2025: After Result Process
OPSC Medical Officer Exam 2025: The Odisha Public Service Commission conducted the Medical Officer examinations today, June 8, 2025. Candidates who clear the examination will be required to go through candidate verification process. OPSC Medical Officer Exam 2025: Exam Pattern The exam was conducted for a total of 200 marks, with each question carrying one mark. For every wrong answer, 25 per cent of the mark will be deducted. The exam was conducted for a duration of three hours in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)-based format. OPSC Medical Officer Exam 2025: After Result Process Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be required to bring along the hard copy of the application form and the following certificates/documents: HSC Marksheet. Intermediate/ +2 certificate. MBBS Degree certificate issued by a recognized university. PG Degree certificate, if any. Conversion certificate, an official document provided by the university which converts the student's Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) into a percentage equivalent. Four recent passport size photographs which were uploaded with the application form. Housemanship/ Complusory Rotatory Internship Certificate. Medical registration certificate under the Odisha Council of Medical Registration. Caste certificate by birth in support of claim as SC/ST/S.E.B.C. OPSC copy of challan showing payment of fees. Proof of Identity such as Aadhaar card, PAN card etc,. Certificates of conduct. Community certificate as per the norms. Odia language test certificate from the Board of Secondary Education. Certificate of passing the screening test conducted by the National Board of Examination under the Medical Council of India. Disability Certificate. Discharge certificate from the Commanding Officer wherever applicable. Sports certificate issued by the director of Sports Odisha. As stated in the official notice issued by the OPSC, candidates are required to mention on each copy of the documents, "Submitted by me and Certified as genuine and has not been cancelled" and they must add their signature and date on the same.

‘Ghatikachalam' promises a suspenseful theatrical treat on May 31
Suspense thriller Ghatikachalam is all set to hit the silver screens on May 31, offering a gripping psychological experience. Directed by Amar Kamepalli, the film stars Nikhil Devadula—marking his debut as a lead after nearly 70 roles as a child artist. The film is bankrolled by M.C. Raju under Oasis Entertainment, with acclaimed filmmaker Maruthi and successful producer SKN backing the release through Mass Movie Makers. At the trailer launch event in Hyderabad, actor Rangadham shared his gratitude for his pivotal yet brief role, thanking the director. Jogi Naidu echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the film's strong content and the Telugu audience's appreciation for substance over spectacle. Actor Shaan, known for his roles in Officer and Om Bheem Bush, praised the strength of his character in Ghatikachalam. Debutant cinematographer S.S. Manoj highlighted the film's experimental visual style, while writer Srinivas Malkar revealed the story's origins, inspired by an idea from a U.S.-based producer friend. MLA puts spotlight on making Wanaparthy a police-friendly district
Wanaparthy: 'We will provide full support and cooperation to the police department to ensure law and order, and to make Wanaparthy district rank first in the state as a friendly police district,' said local MLA Thudi Megha Reddy. On Saturday, he along with District Collector Adarsh Surabhi, and SP Ravula Giridhar inaugurated the renovated Sub-Divisional Police Office at the Police Headquarters, which was formerly an old building. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that to maintain law and order in the district, the police department must have adequate infrastructure, and he assured his full cooperation in this regard. He emphasised that it is the responsibility of the police officers to make Wanaparthy district rank first among the 33 districts in the State in terms of law and order and friendly policing. He said the police offices that ensure public safety should be easily accessible to the public, and hence the DSP office has been renovated and reopened. He congratulated the Collector for sanctioning the funds for the building renovation. He also announced that he is sanctioning Rs 20 lakhs from his personal funds to meet the infrastructural needs of the police department in Wanaparthy town and its mandals. He further mentioned that the government has issued orders to construct new Tahsildar offices in three mandals of the district, each at a cost of Rs 32 lakhs. He also stated that efforts are being made to build new Station House Officer (SHO) offices in those mandals, as well as to get approval for a Circle Office and another SHO post in the town. Earlier, the MLA, District Collector, and District SP jointly honoured DSP Venkateshwara Rao by ceremonially seating him in his chair. DSP Venkateshwara Rao, Market Yard Chairman Srinivas Goud, Tahsildar Ramesh Reddy, Circle Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, and other police staff participated in the event.
