Deftones Debut A Decades-Old Album As A Top 40 Bestseller
In only a matter of days, the rock band Deftones will release Private Music, its highly-anticipated tenth full-length. The group has already shared a handful of singles from the project, and excitement is reaching a fever pitch — not just for Private Music, but seemingly for everything connected to the hard rock outfit. That is certainly the case in the United Kingdom, where one of the group's earliest full-lengths is in the midst of a very meaningful frame. Around the Fur Debuts Inside the Top 40 The second Deftones project, Around the Fur, appears on multiple charts this week. The set even manages to debut on the Official Vinyl Albums chart, opening at No. 34. Deftones collect a sixth placement on the U.K.'s ranking of the top-selling titles available on vinyl. While Around the Fur is now the lowest-peaking set by the group on that tally, it finally becomes a top performer on vinyl decades after its initial release. Around the Fur Hits New All-Time Peaks At the same time that Around the Fur reaches the vinyl tally, Deftones also push the project to new high points on two other rankings. This frame, Around the Fur surges to No. 28 on the Official Physical Albums chart and No. 31 on the Official Album Sales roster — both of which mark newly-established peaks for the title, dozens of weeks into its time on the two tallies. Deftones Claim a Pair of Rock Bestsellers Around the Fur can also be found on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart. 204 weeks into its time on the genre-specific roster, the Deftones classic jumps from No. 9 to No. 5, nearing its all-time high of No. 2. The group fills a pair of spaces on that ranking, as Around the Fur surges and White Pony reenters at No. 31. Around the Fur Dropped Back in 1997 Deftones released Around the Fur in the fall of 1997. The full-length brought the band to the main albums charts in both the United States and the U.K. for the first time. The title produced a pair of wins on the main singles list across the Atlantic, as 'My Own Summer (Shove It)' and 'Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)' climbed as high as Nos. 29 and 50, while the latter was also a rock radio success story in America.

Fleetwood Mac's Blockbuster Becomes A Top 10 Bestseller Again
Rumours by Fleetwood Mac is one of the few albums that can be counted on to appear on the charts in the United Kingdom and the United States every week. Some frames are bigger than others for the decades-old classic, and the beloved pop-rock set is in the midst of yet another surge as it becomes a top 10 bestseller once more. Rumours Jumps Back Into the Top 10 On the Official Vinyl Albums chart, the United Kingdom's ranking of the bestselling titles on wax, Rumours is a top 10 win again. The project leaps nine spots to land at No. 10, doing so 110 weeks into its time on the roster. Rumours Has Never Hit No. 1 Amazingly, after so much time — and even though it appears inside the uppermost region right now — Rumours has never led the charge. The blockbuster has come close, though, as it's stalled at No. 2. Fleetwood Mac's Classic Almost Reaches the Top 10 on Several Lists Rumours also nearly breaks back into the top 10 on two other rosters, climbing to No. 11 from No. 17 on the Official Albums chart. The classic, which has already hit No. 1 on the list, has spent 10 times as long on the ranking of the most consumed projects in the country compared to the vinyl list, with 1,109 frames somewhere on the tally to its credit. A Top 20 Smash on Several Rosters Across the Atlantic, Rumours sits inside the top 20 on the Official Albums Streaming, Official Albums Sales, and Official Physical Albums charts, rising to Nos. 16 and 19 on the latter two. It only misses that region on the Official Album Downloads roster, coming in at No. 22 — an impressive placement for any set that's now earned 435 stays on the list. Rumours, Greatest Hits and 50 Years – Don't Stop Rumours is one of three albums by Fleetwood Mac that live on multiple charts in the U.K. this period. Greatest Hits reappears on two rankings and rises on a third, while 50 Years – Don't Stop is present inside the top five on both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming charts.

Linkin Park's Debut Album Is Back In A Big Way
Linkin Park's music is surging once again in the United Kingdom, which happens regularly. The band is in the middle of its From Zero World Tour, which recently wrapped a European leg that included stops in Germany, France, and England. Several of the Grammy winner's projects are climbing the charts, with fans in the United Kingdom focusing on Hybrid Theory, as the group's debut full-length mounts an impressive comeback. Hybrid Theory Returns to Three Charts This week, Hybrid Theory appears on six different U.K. albums rankings. The project returns to half of them, doubling the number of charts where it's found. It's a top 40 seller again on the Official Vinyl Albums chart, reentering at No. 37. The set also returns to both the Official Album Downloads and Official Albums rankings, landing at Nos. 65 and 87, respectively. Linkin Park Surges Into the Top 10 At the same time it reappears on those three tallies, Hybrid Theory jumps on the other three it already occupied last frame. The set breaks back into the top 10 on the Official Rock and Metal Albums chart, climbing from No. 11 to No. 6. It also reaches the top 40 on both the Official Album Sales and Official Physical Albums lists, improving by more than 10 spaces on each to Nos. 36 and 39, respectively. Hybrid Theory Has Hit the Top 10 Everywhere In the past, Hybrid Theory has reached the top 10 on every U.K. chart it's touched, though it has only managed to lead one: the Official Rock and Metal Albums list. Its lowest peak remains the No. 6 position, where it stalled on the Official Vinyl Albums roster. The album's chart longevity varies widely from list to list. It has only just passed the half-year mark on the Official Vinyl Albums chart, where it is now up to 27 weeks. On the Official Rock and Metal Albums chart, however, it has logged more than 1,000 frames and is almost always present somewhere on the tally. Four Linkin Park Albums Chart Together Hybrid Theory is one of four Linkin Park releases that are currently charting in the U.K. The band's comeback set From Zero, which arrived less than a year ago, reenters three lists and rises on the Official Rock and Metal Albums chart, where Meteora can also be found. Papercuts, a compilation of many of its biggest hits from before the group's most recent era, is also climbing on several rankings at the same time.

Duran Duran's Album Debuts On Multiple Charts — A Quarter-Century After It Dropped

Unlike so many groups from that era, the Grammy winners have continued to regularly put out new music, while also revisiting past smashes. The band is back on the charts in its home country with a compilation originally released more than a quarter-century ago, which manages to debut – not return – inside the highest tier on multiple rankings. Duran Duran's Greatest Appears on Multiple Charts Duran Duran's simply-titled compilation Greatest appears on a trio of tallies this frame. The set was recently issued on vinyl for the very first time, and the project arrived with a special embossed cover and was pressed on double white vinyl, which was apparently of great interest to superfans of the pop group. Greatest debuts on two of the three charts on which it can be found in the United Kingdom this week. The set opens at No. 5 on the Official Vinyl Albums ranking and No. 9 on the Official Albums Sales chart. At the same time, the compilation reenters the Official Physical Albums list at No. 9. Greatest has already spent 68 weeks on that tally, and has previously peaked at No. 4. Duran Duran's Fourth Career Top 10 on the Sales Chart Duran Duran earns its fourth career top 10 on the Official Albums Sales chart. The group has collected just one more win inside that competitive region on the Official Vinyl Albums ranking. Duran Duran's Recent Successful Albums It has been less than two years since Duran Duran earned a new top 10 on both of the charts where Greatest debuts this frame. Back in November 2023, Danse Macabre launched and immediately reached the uppermost tier. Since then, the band has sent several other collections to both the Official Albums Sales and Official Vinyl Albums lists, but none have quite managed to crack the top 10.

ABBA helped the group reach new peaks on various rankings across the Atlantic and produced a slew of smash hits, some of which still rank among the outfit's most celebrated. To honor the title's half-century anniversary, ABBA recently re-released the collection on new formats, and it has become a bestselling title once again. ABBA Returns to Multiple U.K. Charts ABBA reappears on three charts in the U.K. this week. This frame marks only its second stay on each and every of them. The studio effort rises highest on the Official Vinyl Albums list, where it returns at No. 22. The set also appears outside the top 40 on both the Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales rankings, reentering at Nos. 45 and 51, respectively. The album previously debuted on all three charts in the summer of 2022. At that point, it became a top 40 win on the trio of tallies and even managed to start its time on the Official Vinyl Albums list at No. 10. ABBA's New Version Sells Well On June 13, ABBA re-released its namesake album on exciting formats. The full-length was offered as a double LP via a half-speed master, and the group also shared both a box set of the biggest singles from the project as well as picture discs of some of those tunes, including "SOS" and "Mamma Mia." ABBA's Discography Rises Again ABBA sees three different albums appear on the charts in the U.K. this week. As its self-titled project returns to multiple rankings, ABBA – The Singles debuts on two tallies, and Gold – Greatest Hits continues to live on several lists, including the Official Albums chart, where it has now spent more than 1,200 frames.
