Scott Caan and Elizabeth Debicki Join Brad Pitt in David Fincher's Next Untitled Project

Actors Scott Caan and Elizabeth Debicki have joined Brad Pitt in an upcoming Netflix film, whose details remain largely under wraps. The project centers around Cliff Booth, the stuntman character portrayed by Pitt in Quentin Tarantino's 2019 film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. This new story is set in a later time period than the original movie. While details are tightly guarded, sources say the film draws from a script Tarantino wrote but chose not to direct. Pitt reportedly convinced him to let director David Fincher take over the project, which was greenlit earlier this year. The film's storyline may include elements from Tarantino's 2021 novel, which expanded on Cliff Booth's backstory, including the controversial death of his wife. However, it is unclear how closely the movie will follow the book. Debicki and Caan's roles have not been confirmed. Sources suggest the script includes two major female characters — one running a bar and mud wrestling venue, and another described as a trophy wife — but it's unknown whether Debicki will play either of these roles. For Caan, this marks a reunion with Pitt, having worked together in the Ocean's Eleven trilogy. Production is expected to begin in California this July. Netflix has not released any official statements regarding the new cast members. Scott Caan, son of late actor James Caan, is known for his work in television, including CBS's Hawaii Five-0 and Fox's Alert: Missing Persons Unit. His film credits include Varsity Blues and Gone in 60 Seconds. Elizabeth Debicki gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Princess Diana in Netflix's The Crown. She has also appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Tenet, and the upcoming Maxxxine. Both actors are represented by CAA, with Caan also managed by Linden Entertainment and Sloane Offer.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2 Cast Adds The Crown Star & More

has added two new stars to the cast of the David Fincher movie. Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was released in United States theaters in July 2019 from Sony Pictures. It starred Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick Dalton, Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth, and Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Fincher was working on a sequel to the movie, which is believed to be centered around Pitt's character, for Netflix. Production is expected to begin this July in California. Elizabeth Debicki and Scott Caan have both joined the cast of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Debicki is known for playing Diana, Princess of Wales, in Netflix's The Crown. She has starred in movies such as 2013's The Great Gatsby, 2015's Macbeth, 2015's The Man from U.N.C.L.E, 2017's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, 2017's Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, 2018's The Cloverfield Paradox, 2018's Widows, 2020's Tenet, 2024's MaXXXine, and more. Caan, meanwhile, is known for playing Danny 'Danno' Williams in CBS' Hawaii Five-0. He also played Turk Malloy in Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's trilogy (which also starred Pitt), while his filmography further includes 1998's Enemy of the State, 1999's Varsity Blues, 2000's Gone in 60 Seconds, 2008's Meet Dave, 2015's Rock the Kasbah, 2023's One Day as a Lion, and more. Debicki and Caan's character details are being kept under wraps at this time. Not much is known about the plot of Fincher's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2 at this time, other than that it will star Pitt. 'The story's origins lie in a script that Tarantino wrote for himself to direct, but eventually put it aside,' The Hollywood Reporter's article reads. Pitt convinced the filmmaker to let Fincher take a stab at directing it, setting it up earlier this spring.' Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2 does not yet have a release date. Brad Pitt breaks silence on divorce from ex-wife Angelina Jolie as he dispells major rumour about girlfriend Ines de Ramon

Brad Pitt has broken his silence on his divorce from his ex-wife Angelina Jolie as he dispelled a major rumour about his girlfriend Ines de Ramon. On Wednesday, the 61-year-old Fight Club actor spoke to GQ magazine ahead of his forthcoming racing film F1. In his interview, Pitt appeared to downplay the end of Brangelina and said their demise was not "major". "No, I don't think it was that major of a thing," he said. "Just something coming to fruition. Legally." Pitt opened up about the struggles of his high-profile relationships being the subject of ruthless media attention for three decades, including his 12-year relationship with Jolie. 'My personal life is always in the news. It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way," he said. The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor said "always deal(ing)" with the attention has been an "annoyance" of "different degrees." Despite the public exposure which he described as a "nagging time," Pitt said his life now mostly feels "fairly contained." He said he felt "warm and secure" with his friends, family and loved ones, but made no direct mention of his six children. Pitt and Jolie reached a divorce settlement in December following eight years of bitter legal battles over custody of their children and finances. The Benjamin Button star began dating 32-year-old de Ramon, a jewellery designer, in 2022. The couple attended the 2024 British Grand Prix together. Pitt denied the move was a stunt to garner publicity for his forthcoming racing movie, telling GQ it was "not that calculated". He said making such calculations would be "exhausting" and "life just evolves. Relationships evolve." De Ramon divorced The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley after three years of marriage last November. The pair don't share any children. Pitt and Jolie meanwhile share Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16. During their lengthy divorce proceedings, four of their six children became adults, which rendered the need for a custody agreement for them. Knox and Vivienne are the only two minors. The initial judge in their lawsuit, along with federal and Los Angeles County officials, granted Pitt equal custody of the children. A key point in the case was Jolie's sale of the couple's French winery Château Miraval to a third party. Pitt said her move was "vindictive" and sued her over it. Jolie filed a countersuit in which she alleged the actor psychically and verbally abused her and their children on a plane in 2016. Pitt strongly denied the allegations and said they were "another rehash that only harms the family". However, in 2017, he told GQ magazine he had a drinking problem at the time of the alleged incident but was sober and attending therapy. It's unclear what Pitt's relationship with his children is like, but there are major signs suggesting he's estranged from them. In January, People Magazine reported Pitt had minimal contact with the twins while he was in the throes of filming F1. According to sources, he has "virtually no contact" with his older adult children who wanted Jolie to "defend herself" during their divorce. Then months ago, Zahara officially dropped her father's surname and became Zahara Jolie instead of Zahara Jolie-Pitt. Shiloh quickly followed her sister and requested a legal name change to Shiloh Jolie as opposed to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.

Brad Pitt Says ‘My Personal Life Is Always in the News' and It's an ‘Annoyance' to Deal With While Filming: ‘It's Always Been' a ‘Nagging Time Suck'

Brad Pitt graces the latest cover of GQ magazine alongside his 'F1' co-star Damson Idris and producer Lewis Hamilton. The racing movie arrives in theaters this summer after a longer-than-expected production that got shut down for an entire year amid the Hollywood strikes. Pitt was also settling his divorce from Angelina Jolie as 'F1' filming came to an end at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. 'My personal life is always in the news,' Pitt told the publication about filming movies amid public scrutiny. 'It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way.' So, it's always been this kind of nagging time suck or waste of time, if you let it be that. I don't know. I don't know.' 'Mostly I feel pretty… My life is fairly contained,' Pitt added. 'It feels pretty warm and secure with my friends, with my loves, with my fam, with my knowledge of who I am, that, you know, it's like this fly buzzing around a little bit.' GQ then asked Pitt directly if there is 'relief' now that he is 'on the other side of the divorce finally being finalized,' to which the Oscar winner answered: 'No, I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally.' Pitt and Jolie settled their divorce on Dec. 30, 2024 after eight years of legal disputes. Jolie's lawyer, James Simon, said in a statement at the time: 'More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.' The once-Hollywood power couple were at the center of global headlines in 2016 when an alleged physical altercation between them occurred on a private plane. Pitt allegedly 'choked' one of his children, 'struck another in the face' and 'grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her,' per Jolie's lawsuit against Pitt. She filed for divorce a few days after the alleged incident. In April 2024, Jolie's lawyer filed a claim that alleged Pitt's physical abuse 'started well before' the 2016 incident. Pitt had accused Jolie in 2022 of violating 'contractural rights' when she sold her half of their Château Miraval winery without his knowledge. Jolie's lawyers fired back at Pitt in their countersuit, accusing him of not allowing Jolie to sell her half of the winery unless she signed 'a nondisclosure agreement that would have contractually prohibited her from speaking outside of court about Pitt's physical and emotional abuse of her and their children.' With his personal life seemingly on more stable ground and 'F1' arriving in theaters across the world in late June, Pitt seems reinvigorated as an actor. The Oscar winner sparked retirement rumors in 2022 when he said he was on the 'last leg' of his acting career, although he later clarified that still meant he had many years left to explore his craft. 'F1' proved to Pitt that retirement is certainly not imminent. 'Man, I've been doing this for a while and was wondering: Do I have more stories to tell? Do I have anything to add to this? Is there still any excitement I can find from this?' Pitt told GQ. '[This film] just reinvigorated the whole thing again for me.' Pitt's acting career will continue not only with 'F1' this summer but also future film projects such as 'Heart of the Beast,' a Navy SEAL drama that reunites the actor with his 'Fury' director David Ayer, and a 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' sequel in which Pitt will reprise his Oscar-winning role of Cliff Booth for director David Fincher and screenwriter Quentin of Variety 'Harry Potter' TV Show Cast Guide: Who's Who in Hogwarts? Brad Pitt confesses frustration with constant media attention

Brad Pitt has been left exasperated by the attention his private life draws from the media. The 61-year-old acting legend has been in the spotlight since 1987, winning two Academy Awards, and receiving a further five nominations, over the years. But while his acting career has attracted plaudits, his personal life - which has included failed marriages to Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie - has attracted intensive attention. Hitting out at the scrutiny his life draws, he told GQ, "My personal life is always in the news. It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way." Asked if acting offers a "refuge" from all the public attention, he replied, "It's been an annoyance I've had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do. "So, it's always been this kind of nagging time suck or waste of time, if you let it be that. I don't know. I don't know." The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star went on to compare the attention to a fly "buzzing around" as an irritation. In his in-depth interview, he also addressed the end of his marriage to Jolie, 49, following the finalisation of their divorce last December after more than eight years. Asked if it was a "relief" to have the divorce completed, he commented, "No, I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally." Pitt was married Jolie in 2014 after they began their relationship in 2006 - but they abruptly split in 2016. He was previously married to Friends star Aniston from 2000 until 2005.
