Katy Perry's latest concert blunder leaves fans comparing her to a 'toddler running around at a wedding'

Katy Perry 's rocky Lifetimes Tour hit yet another snag when she tripped and fell onstage during a show in Phoenix, Arizona. Amid reports of sluggish ticket sales, the tour began inauspiciously this April with a Mexico City concert that left fans roasting the 40-year-old for her 'mom moves.' As she jetted around the world for her gigs, her personal life made headlines with news that she had split from her fiancé Orlando Bloom, who attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez 's wedding solo as Katy performed in Australia. Now, in fan footage circulating on TikTok, the California Gurls hitmaker was seen running onstage before stumbling and falling painfully on her front. She quickly recovered, drawing herself up to her knees and managing an improvised little dance that consisted of her jerkily pumping her fists up and down. Online observers shared their reactions, as one wrote: 'on stage she acts like a toddler running around at a wedding' and another wondered: 'Who is paying for this.' A third remarked that 'her tripping is the least embarrassing part of this video,' while a fourth said: 'If I had free tickets I still don't think I'd go.' One waggish TikTok user took aim at Katy's controversial all-female space flight, quipping: 'She's getting used to earths gravity again guys, don't make fun of her.' Others wrote: 'Not a single one of her songs warrants any of this,' 'You couldn't pay me enough to see her in concert!!,' 'The humiliation continues…,' 'Her career in 2 seconds,' and: 'They paid to watch her "baby shark."' Exactly one week after the Phoenix mishap, Katy left fans terrified by nearly falling out of the air during a performance in San Francisco. Fans were left panicked as they captured the heart-stopping moment when she belted out her hit song Roar while soaring through the sky on a mechanical butterfly. Taking to Instagram the following day, Katy found the humor in the situation as she shared a series of snaps poking fun at the incident. Captioning a set of photos that showed the contrast of the day, she wrote: 'How the LA show started ➡️ how the LA show ended.' The first snap showed Katy relaxing in a bathtub, before cutting to some behind-the-scenes snaps of the show. Online observers shared their reactions, as one wrote: 'on stage she acts like a toddler running around at a wedding' and another wondered: 'Who is paying for this' It then switched to footage of Katy plunging downwards on the flying stage prop above the audience, followed by a clip of her walking out of the arena in her dressing gown, looking noticeably shaken. Katy also shared a snap on her Stories of the fall, with the caption: 'Goodnight San Francisco.' On Friday, Katy who was dressed in a sparkling crop top and hot pants, initially looked at ease as she glided over the crowds at the Chase Center while singing her track amid her The Lifetimes Tour. However, things took a turn for the worst as she suddenly plunged downwards as the flying stage prop appeared to malfunction. The US songstress, who was strapped in, was seen looking horrified as she grabbed onto mechanical insect and attempted to steady herself, before looking upwards to see what was wrong. Amid the incident, Katy stopped singing as she tried to compose herself, before she then continued with her performance. The large flying prop appeared to slow down significantly as it made its way across the arena. MailOnline have contacted Katy's reps for comment. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), fans were quick to share the shock at the moment, with many comparing it to a similar incident that Beyoncé suffered last month. The Halo singer, 43, almost fell out of her flying car prop which had tilted forward while she performed in Houston amid her Cowboy Carter tour. Fans wrote: 'First beyonce and now katy perry, next its gonna be usher being sent into outer orbit.'x 'First Beyoncé now Katy Perry' 'The professionalism here is beyond insane like that could've easily cost your life but Katy didn't panic and she kept the show going.... Katy Perry is hands down one of the best performers of our generation.' 'sorry katy perry is such a pro, i would have just cried and sh*t myself atm.' 'Katy Perry almost fell ON TOP of me while flying on that butterfly. This concert is WILD.' Katy's dangerous moment comes after she was left overwhelmed with emotion during her Lifetimes tour stop in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. The pop star alluded to her recent breakup with now-ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom while obliging fans' request for her to sing her heartbreak ballad Not Like the Movies. Katy's dangerous moment comes after she was left overwhelmed with emotion during her Lifetimes tour stop in Los Angeles on Tuesday night During the show the show in the city's Inglewood neighborhood, she asked the audience: 'You're gonna make me sing this song in this time in my life? OK, we'll do it! Because you voted for it.' According to an account from People, she continued, 'I let you choose the song tonight because I like to pick an album for every country that I go to and for the USA, I picked Teenage Dream because USA, you could be a teenage dream, baby. You better get it together. I'll always have that feeling for you.' Per the outlet, she candidly added, 'This next song I wrote in my 20s … after my first divorce,' before promising she would 'try and hold my composure while I sing it a week before my period.' Earlier in the day she had snubbed Bloom in her Instagram post promoting the concert. She listed everyone who would be in attendance for the show in her native Los Angeles, and missing from the special guests was the 48-year-old actor. Perry's caption to her 203 million followers began, 'HOMETOWN SHOW AT THE FORUM TONIGHT‼️' The pop star alluded to her recent breakup with now-ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom while obliging fans' request for her to sing her heartbreak ballad Not Like the Movies [pictured in 2021] During the show the show in the city's Inglewood neighborhood, she asked the audience: 'You're gonna make me sing this song in this time in my life? OK, we'll do it! Because you voted for it' Showing her sense of humor, she then added, 'Ecstatic to play a show for ALL the Angelenos including my best friends, my business partners, mom, dad, my ear nose and throat doctor, my dog groomer, my MDMA therapist, my acupuncturist, my manicurist, the teacher from the yoga class I went to in 2015, the uber eats guy that that delivered my brisket breakfast burrito this morning from Dialog Cafe and all the friends that are friends with someone that knows Tamra.' While Orlando wasn't present for the performance, his ex-wife Miranda Kerr was in attendance. Perry and Bloom confirmed their breakup this month, after swirling speculation about their relationship status. The pair began dating in 2016 and got engaged on Valentine's Day 2019, before welcoming their four-year-old daughter Daisy Dove in August 2020. Bloom is also dad to 14-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with Kerr. Representatives for the pair told that 'Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.'

Sydney Sweeney ‘Doesn't Have Time to Properly Date' Amid Wildly Successful Career: Source

Tinseltown's current 'It Girl' Sydney Sweeney has A-list hunks drooling over her, but insiders say she finds the attention so overwhelming that she's nixed dating for the foreseeable future. The 27-year-old star of Euphoria and 2023's summer blockbuster Anyone but You is single since ending a long-term love-in and engagement with producer-businessman Jonathan Davino, and sources say she plans on staying that way, despite all the fawning from guys. 'She was in a relationship with Jonathan for so long, she just wants space to find her footing again,' says an insider. 'She swore she would take her time, so as tempting as some of these guys are, she's sticking to her guns.' According to sources, big-time hunks such as NFL legend Tom Brady and Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom were battling to get up close and personal with the bombshell at Jeff Bezos' recent wedding in Venice, Italy. 'There's been a parade of eligible bachelors. Everyone has heard about her and Tom dancing in Venice, and he's only one of the many high-profile guys panting after her,' says the insider. 'Orlando was caught flirting up a storm with her, too.' 'She's the toast of the town and the pressure that comes with that is very high. She's afraid of making the wrong move.' Sources say Sydney was unfairly targeted by reporter Megyn Kelly, who questioned the star's invite to Bezos' wedding to journalist turned philanthropist Lauren Sánchez, snarking that her bra size had something to do with it. 'How does she wind up there?' Megyn griped. 'Sydney Sweeney's the new toast of the town out there because she's got these enormous breasts that everybody's obsessed with.' According to the insider, the actress is struggling to stay focused amid negative publicity. 'She has her eyes on a huge career and wants that to be her focus. Starting up another romance right now is not the wisest move,' notes the insider. 'Her bankability is very high as this hot single woman and she wants to capitalize on that. She's got her own production company and is making lots of moves right now. She doesn't have the time to properly date.' Solve the daily Crossword

Orlando Bloom Says Working Through His Childhood Has Changed How He Parents His Own Children (Exclusive)

The 'Lord of the Rings' alum has two kids: daughter Daisy and son Flynn Orlando Bloom proves that it's never too late to learn something new, especially when it comes to parenting. In an exclusive clip shared with PEOPLE ahead of the new episode of Oprah Winfrey's The Oprah Podcast, The Lord of the Rings star, 48, opened up about how working through things from his childhood has changed the way he parents his own children. Bloom credits the Hoffman process, which was intended to help participants identify negative behaviors, moods, and ways of thinking that developed unconsciously and were conditioned in childhood, in helping him become a better parent. "I think my job as a parent now is to allow my children to grow without getting in their way," he tells Winfrey. "It's sort of like don't get in the way of anyone else's journey. Don't let anyone get in the way of your journey, and just be grateful for the opportunities that are presented to you, and see the challenges of the dynamic that are in front of you as an opportunity for you to grow." He goes on to talk about how the Hoffman process has helped him handle conflict. "I'm not saying I'm perfect. It's not easy at all, but it is something that without the Hoffman process, I don't think I could say I would have understood," he says. "I think I could have been easily triggered." "Now, even if I am and if we come across a situation that we're in conflict about [something], I can take a step back," he continues. "I can let some time pass and then we can re-engage in a conversation where I'm looking at everything from his perspective whilst trying to lay in my thinking without it overwhelming or getting in the way of his process." The Pirates of the Caribbean star has two children: son Flynn with his ex-wife, model and entrepreneur Miranda Kerr, and daughter Daisy Dove with his ex-fiancée Katy Perry. Though Bloom tends to be fairly private about his kids' lives, he has shared occasional anecdotes about them over the years. While speaking to PEOPLE in November 2021, the actor revealed his favorite activities to do with his children. "We like to have experiences and shared experiences; anything from a pumpkin patch to a hike, to a beach, to a day at Disneyland, to a museum," he said. Horrifying moment Katy Perry nearly falls off flying prop as it malfunctions mid-performance

Fans at a recent Katy Perry concert have been left gasping in shock when the singer nearly fell off a flying prop and into the crowd. The terrifying moment unfolded when she was performing Roar on Friday night in San Francisco while soaring above the audience on a giant butterfly machine, which abruptly malfunctioned, jerking her forward and nearly causing her to lose her grip. Gasps and screams could be heard around the venue, with Perry momentarily falling silent as she regained her composure, before quickly picking up the song again. The singer was able to poke fun at herself following the scary incident, taking to her Instagram Stories and posting a screenshot of herself, mouth hanging open, during the near-fall. 'Goodnight San Fran,' she captioned the picture. Perry's Lifetimes tour has already proven dramatic, with news of her split from Orlando Bloom confirmed during her run of shows earlier this month. The singer and Lord of the Rings star had been together on and off for almost a decade and share a four-year-old daughter, Daisy. Representatives for the famous pair confirmed months-long speculation that they had parted ways, insisting in a statement that their child would remain their 'focus'. 'They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect,' the joint statement read. Bloom and Perry were then spotted together in Italy last week, with the actor even posting a cosy family photo with his ex, their daughter, and the 14-year-old son, Flynn, whom he shares with Miranda Kerr.
