Govt offers 75% rebate on conversion fee, devpt charge for pvt bus stands

Lucknow: To attract investments in public transport sector, the housing department on Tuesday announced that a 75% rebate on land conversion fee and development charges will be offered to people interested in setting up private bus stands over plots that are 2 acres or larger. The decision was taken to promote the Uttar Pradesh stage carriage bus stand establishment and regulation policy. Only one-fourth of the amount due to the local housing development authority will have to be paid to undertake such projects. Notifying the state carriage bus stand policy on May 7, the objective of the transport department was to create space for parking city and long-distance buses engaged by various govt agencies and corporations, as well as private and contractual ones. On a public-private-partnership model, infrastructure will be developed on plots measuring 2 acres to create space for parking buses. In turn, the operators of parking complex would be able to command fees from users. As land conversion and development charges could account for 30% to 40% of the land value, offering a rebate was deemed necessary to attract private investments and improve the financial viability of the PPP mode-based projects. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Get Your Personalized IQ Certificate Today Try Now Undo Issuing directions to the vice-chairmen of the 29 development authorities and the housing commissioner, principal secretary, housing, P Guruprasad on Tuesday said that a 75% rebate on both components needs to be passed on to entrepreneurs interested in setting up carriage bus stands under the policy. UP gives nod to acquire landfor township in Gorakhpur

Lucknow: Clearing the final roadblock, the housing department has given its go-ahead to the Gorakhpur Development Authority to initiate the land acquisition exercise to set up a new township in the prime city of eastern UP. The plan is to acquire a total of 252 hectares to set up a greenfield township (New Gorakhpur Scheme) that would cater to the growing housing needs of the local population. The authority would enlist independent experts to prepare a social impact assessment report to ascertain how many families would be affected by the project. According to the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, instituting a social impact assessment study is crucial to understanding the estimated cost and benefits to the families affected by the acquisition. Planned over a 622-acre area, the township would span Gorakhpur Sadar and Chauri Chaura sub-divisions. As per a preliminary survey, three villages, including Koni, Takiya Medinipur, and Madapar, among others, are involved. Principal secretary of the housing department, P Guruprasad, issued directives to the district magistrate of Gorakhpur to prepare the preliminary outline for the land acquisition process. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Cách giao dịch ETH/USD mà không cần nắm giữ Ether IC Markets Tìm hiểu thêm Undo The Yogi Adityanath govt in April 2023 introduced a new township policy to address the housing needs of the state.
