PLUS: Night closures at Serdang lay-by for 5 days from Aug 11
PETALING JAYA: PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) will conduct concrete pavement maintenance works at the Serdang Lay-by (southbound) from Aug 11 to 15, with temporary closures during night-time hours. It will be closed from 10pm to 5am. The entry lane, food stalls, and restroom facilities will be temporarily shut to facilitate the works. However, the lay-by will be open to the public from 5am to 10pm, when no upgrading work will be carried out for user convenience. Highway users are advised to plan their journeys using the PLUS App for the latest traffic information. They should also adhere to all traffic signs and instructions from PLUS personnel in the affected area. For further information, users can also get traffic updates through the PUTRI virtual assistant, the X@plustrafik app, and electronic signboards at selected locations, or contact PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000 for emergencies.

NKVE gantry installation starts tomorrow near Jalan Duta
KUALA LUMPUR: The installation of advertising gantry structures on the New Klang Valley Expressway will begin tomorrow. The work will cover KM 25.4 to KM 25.7, between Jalan Duta and Bukit Lanjan, and last for two days. PLUS Malaysia Berhad stated that a third-party contractor will handle the installation in both directions. Work hours are set from 11 pm to 5 am to minimise disruption. PLUS assured highway users that traffic delays will be minimal during the installation. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys and follow traffic signs and PLUS personnel instructions. Maintenance on NKVE, Elite: Users urged to plan journey
KUALA LUMPUR: Users of the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and the North-South Expressway Central Link (Elite) are advised to plan their journeys as maintenance works are being carried out. Plus Malaysia Bhd (Plus) in a statement today announced that maintenance works involving drainage systems and right lane closures in both directions on the NKVE will begin today until Oct 14. This involves the Damansara-Bukit Lanjan route at Km19.3 to Km20.0 as well as road diversions at locations activated to ensure the comfort and safety of highway users. Meanwhile, on the Elite, it will begin on July 21 to 25 from 11pm to 5am involving the Putrajaya-Bandar Saujana Putra route at Km19.5 to Km18.0 following the bridge beam launching works as well as the activation of contra lanes. "Highway users are advised to plan their journeys during the period. "They are also advised to obey all traffic signs and instructions issued by Plus personnel when passing through the affected areas. "Highway users can also get the latest traffic information via the Plus Application, Putri Virtual Assistant, X@plustrafik Application or Electronic Signage (VMS) at selected locations," the statement said. Slow traffic flow on major Klang Valley highways on June 8
KUALA LUMPUR: People returning to the capital after the Aidiladha holiday are experiencing slow traffic on several major highways heading to the Klang Valley as of 8pm Sunday (June 8). A spokesman for the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) said traffic flow from the north to the Klang Valley on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) was reported to be slow at several locations, including Alor Setar Selatan to Sungai Petani, Bandar Cassia to Taiping and Sungai Perak to Ipoh. Slow traffic was also reported from Gopeng to Sungkai and Behrang towards Rawang. "Traffic flow from the south on the PLUS highway was reported to be slow from Pagoh to Ayer Keroh and the Ayer Keroh Rest and Service Area to Nilai," he said when contacted Sunday. Traffic flow from the east to the Klang Valley on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway (KLK) and East Coast Expressway (LPT) 1 is reported to be slow at Lanchang to Karak Toll Plaza, Karak to Bukit Tinggi and Genting Sempah to Gombak Toll Plaza. Smooth traffic flow on all major highways this morning
KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic flow is reported to be smooth on all major highways nationwide as of 9am on Sunday (June 8). A Malaysian Highway Authority spokesman said traffic is smooth flowing on the North-South Expressway (PLUS), the East Coast Highway (LPT) 1 and 2 as well as all toll roads around the Klang Valley. He added that this was because many have yet to return home after the Aidiladha celebration and school holidays. A total of 30 smart lanes have been activated along the PLUS Highway today to ensure smooth traffic flow.
