PSV and Lille in the market for younger brother of former Ajax flop PSV have set their sights on 17-year-old Abdul Daramy from FC Copenhagen, according to transfer expert Santi Aouna. The right winger is considered one of the brightest prospects at the club's youth academy and is also attracting interest from French club Lille. Abdul is the younger brother of former Ajax man Mohamed Daramy and currently plays for FC Copenhagen's U19 team. The teenager impressed last season, where in 16 appearances, he scored three goals, and provided one assist. Matěj Kovář's move to PSV awaits Manchester United's approval
Florian Plettenberg reports that Bayer Leverkusen keeper Matěj Kovář's move to PSV Eindhoven is being held up by a slight technicality. Kovář's former club Manchester United retained matching rights on the deal that sent Kovář to Leverkusen in August 2023. PSV and the Bundesliga outfit are thus waiting on United's go-ahead. The matter shouldn't prevent Kovář from joining the Dutch champions. As reported by Kicker yesterday, Kovář was in Eindhoven to complete his medical. A €5m sale with €2m in add-ons has been agreed upon by both clubs. Advertisement The English Red Devils have little reason not to waive their matching rights as they themselves pocketed €5m from Kovář's sale to Leverkusen, also securing a re-sale clause as part of the deal. Plettenberg insinuates that United will cooperate. If the German transfer expert is correct, the deal should be confirmed tomorrow. The only potential stumbling block concerns the fact that Holland's De Teelegraaf claims that Leverkusen are attempting to loan, not sell, Kovar. The Dutch international has 14 senior caps for the Netherlands and came up through the Ajax youth academy. Following loans at FC Twente and Club Brugge, Lang was sold to the Belgians for €6m, then moved on to PSV Eindhoven for €12.5m in the summer of 2023. He represents one of several big investments for Antonio Conte's side, who won the Serie A title last season, as Sam Beukema is also set to complete his move from Bologna later this week.
