Carlito Confirms Shocking WWE Departure

In shocking news, Carlito confirmed his WWE departure. Carlito's announcement comes on the same day it was revealed that fellow WWE star R-Truth will also be departing the company once his contract expires. A report from PWInsider mentioned that Carlito's WWE contract will not be renewed when it ends. Similar to R-Truth's situation, he is expected to leave WWE once his current deal runs out. Advertisement Carlito confirmed the news on X, formerly known as Twitter, with a lighthearted tone. He revealed that his contract will expire soon and will not be renewed. While the release is legitimate, he jokingly wrote that he's being asked to pay back the money he 'stole.' 'My contract is up in 2 weeks. It will not be renewed. On top of that, WWE is demanding I pay back the $ they paid me for apparently 'stealing money' from the company.' 'I've had my lawyers look into it and after reviewing my footage on Netflix for the past months they suggested I pay them back the money. All jokes aside, gracias WWE & especially the WWE universe. Los quiero mucho! PS…I'll reappear again in another 13yrs Dios me los bendiga.' Carlito became famous in WWE during the 2000s. Although the company released him in 2010, he came back for the 2021 Royal Rumble. In 2023, he made another return at Backlash in Puerto Rico during the Damian Priest vs. Bad Bunny match. The Puerto Rico fans welcomed him with a huge ovation, and WWE later signed him to a new contract. Advertisement After coming back, Carlito joined the LWO faction. However, his time with LWO didn't last long. After WrestleMania 40, he turned heel and joined The Judgment Day because Dominik Mysterio asked him to. Since joining, Carlito has been seen as the funny member of the faction. Report: Update On Liv Morgan's WWE Return Status

How much longer will Liv Morgan be away from WWE programming? Last month it was revealed that one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan has been cast for the new Takashi Miike movie, Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo. Advertisement The WWE Superstar has been in Japan filming her role for the movie. But reportedly has already wrapped up her part in the film. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, sources close to the production of the film say that Morgan 'crushed' her role and was viewed as a complete natural on set. Johnson goes on to state that Morgan 'blew everyone away' with her work, including some experienced industry veterans in Hollywood. Despite this, she is expected back on WWE programming very soon. Based on the timing of her wrapping up her part in the film, Morgan could potentially return to WWE as soon as this Monday night on RAW. Liv Morgan's return confirmed? WWE star set to rejoin Raw on May 26

Liv Morgan could be back on WWE TV as early as tonight's episode of Raw, May 26. The Women's Tag Team Champion hasn't been seen on-screen for about a month, but that break was due to her role in the upcoming film Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, where she stars alongside Lily James. She recently returned home after wrapping up her part in the movie. Since then, fans have been buzzing about when she'll be back—and now there's more reason to believe it's happening tonight. Fightful Select first reported that she might be making her return on the May 26 edition of Raw. PWInsider also backed that up, saying WWE creative has already added her to tonight's plans. Could Liv Morgan enter the Money in the Bank picture? Time to rejoice as Liv Morgan returns to #WWERaw tonight! Monday Night Morgan is back baby!!! With WWE building up towards the Money in the Bank event on June 7, the timing lines up. Liv could enter the mix for the women's ladder match, especially since she's still one-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions. Her return would add excitement to a Raw episode that's already packed with key matches. Tonight's show will also feature two big Money in the Bank qualifying matches and a triple threat tag title clash. Add Liv Morgan's possible return into the mix, and Raw might just deliver one of its strongest episodes in weeks.

Drew McIntyre suffers brutal defeat, set to take extended break from WWE

Image via WWE WWE 's Saturday Night's Main Event delivered a brutal encounter between two of SmackDown's most hard-hitting stars, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest. In what may have marked the temporary end of their long-running feud, Priest defeated McIntyre in a steel cage match that left the WWE Universe stunned - and McIntyre seemingly written off television. The Scottish Warrior, known for his resilience and intensity, went toe-to-toe with Priest in a match that had personal stakes and unfinished business stemming from WrestleMania 40. Despite emerging victorious at WrestleMania 41 in a Sin City Street Fight, McIntyre couldn't keep his rival down for long. Priest returned with a vengeance at Backlash, costing McIntyre a crucial match and reigniting their feud. Steel cage showdown ends with shocking twist Leading into Saturday's match, McIntyre was already dealing with a neck injury believed to have been sustained at Backlash after a South of Heaven choke slam. Reports suggest the injury had been bothering him for some time, even affecting his range of motion. However, the former WWE Champion refused to back down. In a shocking end to the match, Priest hit McIntyre with a devastating Con-Chair-To before walking out the steel cage to claim victory - not by pinfall, but by escape, adding insult to injury. According to PWInsider, this ending was not just part of the storyline but also a planned write-off to allow McIntyre to take an extended break. Sources confirm that McIntyre completed his scheduled appearances and will now step away from WWE to recover from his injuries. There is no official word on when he will return, but the time off is expected to be substantial. This comes after months of McIntyre pushing through pain and continuing to compete at a high level despite his physical setbacks. While McIntyre takes time off, all eyes will now be on Damian Priest. The former World Heavyweight Champion has been receiving backstage praise for his performance in this feud. With a decisive win over McIntyre, he's now being seen as a key figure in WWE's main event scene. The rivalry may be paused for now, but given the unresolved tension and the 1-1 scoreline between the two, fans can expect this feud to resume when McIntyre is fit to return. Until then, the WWE Universe will surely miss the Scottish Warrior's presence inside the ring.
