Here, we look at what some of the sexiest stars of yesteryear are up to now, from successful TV careers to tragic health battles… Dani Behr Nothing summed up the 90s quite like pop culture show The Word. And front and centre was Dani Behr, the gorgeous blonde presenter with the husky voice who joined the programme in 1992 at just 17 years old. READ MORE ON PAGE 3 Following her tenure on the show, Dani embarked on a brief but high profile relationship with Manchester United star Ryan Giggs and was later axed from CBBC's The Saturday Show, after making risque comments to a lads mag about having 'seedy' sex in an NCP car park. Dani, 55, ditched the UK in the early noughties to live in the States to work as a luxury real estate agent in Los Angeles, selling million dollar houses. Now a mum of two, she's kept herself ingrained in showbusiness, and has just announced that a new show which she created, called 'Members Only: Palm Beach,' has been picked up by Netflix . It will follow 'a group of glamorous women navigating America's most exclusive social circle.' Most read in Celebrity Melinda Messenger With her tumbling blonde locks, cheeky grin and flawless figure, Melinda was the ultimate pin up and one of the 90s most iconic glamour girls. I was a Page 3 girl and popped up in James Bond film... then got addicted to heroin The Sun labelled her 'The Girl of the Thrillenium' and she was dubbed the new Eva Herzigova as she shot to fame thanks to posing in her undies for a double glazing advert. Nowadays, things are drastically different for 54 year old Mel, who has three children and lives a peaceful life in the Berkshire countryside. She likes to plant flowers, walk her dog and is a fully trained psychotherapist. Melinda, who regularly appears as a guest at wellness festivals across the country, was back in the news recently to argue her 21 year old daughter, Evie, was not a 'nepo baby'. 21 Melinda Messenger emerging from a swimming pool onto a Sun towel back in 1997 Credit: News Group Newspapers Ltd 21 Melinda Messenger at Octopus Park in Tenerife back in 1997 Credit: News Group Newspapers Ltd 21 Legendary Page 3 girl hasn't aged a day as she poses in swimsuit Credit: instagram/ Reports claimed Evie was going into modelling, having been given a leg up by her famous mum. But Mel chimed into the debate insisting 'She isn't a model, though, to be fair she could be if she wanted to, but I am her mum, so I might be a tad biased.' And this was a time when celeb calendars were big business. Famed for her doe eyed girl next door looks, Keeley turned to acting after modelling, appearing in Hollywood films Horrible Bosses 2 with Jennifer Aniston and Like Crazy, alongside Jennifer Lawrence. But it's her turn as evil chairman Rupert Mannion's wife, Bex, in She's also one of the show's writers. With her tongue firmly in cheek, Keeley, 38, will release her first book next month, a collection of essays entitled 'Everyone's Seen My Tits.' However, a lot has changed and Jodie, 46, now runs an animal sanctuary called Fripps Farm, where she keeps everything from emus to lemurs. She recently won a battle against her local council in Essex to keep the animals, but last month the former glamour girl begged fans to donate money to her project, after learning the farm's social media pages had been taken down. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Jodie could be seen cuddling an emu and pleading, 'We are working on getting them back up. Following a battle with breast cancer in 2022, Sarah told The Sun of her regrets, saying 'they were honestly the best boobs — better than Denise Van Outen's, I'd say. So I should have got them out.' These days Sarah, 52, has stepped away from the limelight to focus on her health and her two children. In April she shared a post which said, ''I need to stop drinking. Like stop completely.' She also reflected on her former TV career saying, 'sometimes I wonder what went wrong, but I'm here now so I'm going to make the most of it, however, that looks.' Gail Porter Was there a more iconic image from lad culture in the 90s than the naked body of Gail Porter, projected onto the Houses of Parliament? Arguably not. 21 Cover girl challenge The front cover of FHM magazine showing Gail Porter in the nude Credit: FHM Magazine 21 Gail Porter promoting a motor car in London Credit: Rex 21 Gail Porter, patron of a Scottish charity, at the launch of an affordable lending program Credit: Tom Farmer However, that 1999 stunt for men's magazine FHM, proved to be the beginning of the end for Gail's successful glamour and TV career. The 54 year old, who was famed for presenting shows like Live and Kicking and Top of The Pops, said she wasn't aware of what had happened and later claimed she was never paid for the shoot, despite the publicity helping FHM sell more than one million copies within just two months. Since then Gail has famously lost her hair due to alopecia, has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and fought a battle against drink and drugs and bankruptcy. She was also sectioned under the mental health act in 2011, after texting her then boyfriend to say she was suicidal. Last month Gail, who shares a daughter, Honey, with Toploader guitarist Dan Hipgrave, stepped out at the British LGBT Awards ceremony wearing a long blonde wig, leaving fans praising her 'transformation'. They were narrowly beaten by the Netherlands (6th place), Canada (7th place), Georgia (8th place), Australia (9th place) and Bosnia (10th place.) What's the average breast size in the world? According to figures published in 2019 by Healthline, the average breast size varies dramatically from country to country. For instance, American women were likely to wear a 34DD, while their UK counterparts would be 36DD. Healthline also pointed out that it was incredibly hard to pinpoint a definitive average, as we don't have a "universal understanding of the correct bra size" and many are found to be wearing the incorrect size. Again, in 2016 following their thorough research, The Journal of Female Health Sciences said it was pivotal that women understood that breast sized varied so much throughout the world.

I feel sexier than ever after op to shed 4lbs from saggy 34HH boobs says Rhian Sugden… as she reveals stunning results

THEY'VE been her calling card since she was 19, and earned her an army of loyal fans, but Rhian Sugden's famous boobs have also caused her years of pain. Just four weeks ago the former Page 3 girl went under the knife to have her natural 34HH cups reduced and lifted - and now she has exclusively unveiled her new look for The Sun. 12 And the 38-year-old - who previously revealed her boobs had ballooned after she became mum to 16-month-old George - is delighted with the results. 'I feel so much sexier,' she says. 'I'm definitely lighter. I feel like my posture is better already. My confidence is back and I can wear clothes I've not been able to wear before. 'I'm bigger all over after having George and getting married, because I got comfortable, but I'm all right with that now because my boobs are more in proportion with my body.' In a major operation, lasting four and a half hours and costing over £10,000, surgeons removed 'four coke cans worth' of tissue weighing 4.5lbs. 'I thought they actually removed the nipple, but they don't,' she reveals. 'They remove the lower part of your boob, pull your skin down and then basically, use a cookie cutter to pull your nipple back through. 'I've got a mole that was on my upper chest that is now down by the nipple. My nipples have come up by 12 cms.' Although she was nervous about the double procedure - a breast reduction and uplift in one - Rhian was initially worried they hadn't gone far enough when she came round from the surgery. 'I was still out of it because of the general anesthetic. And I remember looking down and thinking they had put an implant in, not because they were big but because they were so perky,' she says. 'When the nurse came out I said: 'Have you put an implant in?' And she said, 'No that's all you.' 'I was still shocked at the size of them when I came out but the swelling has gone down now, and I feel like they're settling in a bit more. 'I told them I wanted a significant reduction but I still wanted to be big, which didn't really make sense. 'They took a good amount but, as much as I wanted to be smaller, in hindsight, I probably would have been upset because my boobs are a big part of my life. Still a petite size 10, Rhian's cup size has shrunk to an F, a month after surgery, and she reveals her left side now matches her right for the first time in her life. 'My boobs were a whole cup size different. The right one was always bigger so I'd always have to have one arm up, in every photoshoot, to make them look even,' she says. 'Most models have a best side, facially, but I had a best side for my body, to disguise the unevenness of my boobs. 'I got to pick the size of my nipples' 'Now they are symmetrical for the first time in my life and it feels weird not having to lift my right arm any more. 'I also got to pick the size of my nipples so they are now smaller and more symmetrical.' Two decades as a glamour girl have left her with few inhibitions and just minutes after we meet she whips off her bra to show me the scars - which run incredibly neatly around the nipples and down the underside of her boobs. 'I'm really happy with how they look,' she beams. 'I think he's done a really good job. We chose our surgeon well.' Rhian previously revealed husband Oliver Mellor was not keen on the idea of a reduction - but she says he is chuffed with the results. 'Oliver was a bit nervous at first because he likes big boobs and he was worried about the scarring,' she says. 'But he can't believe how well they've turned out. He's very pleased with them. He says I look like Pammy (Anderson) again because they're so perky. They look good and they're still a good size. A decent handful for him.' Oliver was a bit nervous at first because he likes big boobs and he was worried about the scarring. But he can't believe how well they've turned out. He's very pleased with them Rhian Sugden A tiny size 6 when she shot to fame at 19, as one of the UK's best-loved glamour models, Rhian was a 32D cup, even then. And after tying the knot with former Coronation Street star Oliver in 2018, then going through six years of gruelling IVF treatment before conceiving George, she put on a few pounds - most of which went to her chest. 12 'I actually went for a consultation for a reduction before I had George, because I thought I was never going to have babies but Dr Hussein, at the Pall Mall Clinic in Warrington, said, 'I'm happy to do it, but I think we should wait another year, just in case.' 'Then I got pregnant with George and they were twice as big when I went back this time. When I took my top off he said 'Oh yes, they are….' and I said, 'saggy?' And he went, 'Yes',' she laughs. 'They got bigger and bigger while I was pregnant and didn't deflate and I really struggled to breastfeed because of the size of them. 'They were bigger than George's head and I was worried about suffocating him. And because one of my boobs is bigger than the other I only really breastfed on one side so that one grew massive. It was a nightmare. 'I've always loved having big boobs, so it's not that I hated them, but it got to the point where they were unbearable and was seriously affecting my life.' Before going under the knife, in June, she revealed she was in constant pain because of her 34HH cups and she was on daily pain killers. 'Out of proportion' 'They're just so heavy. My back is in bits all the time, my posture is getting worse and I just want to feel better in myself,' she said. 'No matter what size bras I bought, or how much scaffolding there was, the dents on my shoulders got worse.' Her 'out of proportion' figure also meant dresses were impossible to buy, vest tops were a no-no, and she lived in trouser suits and blazers to 'cover up my top.' But after turning up to our shoot braless and in a boob tube - which she tells us, excitedly, she could never wear before - she was thrilled to slip into a backless denim dress as well as slipping on a vest top and shorts combo, without feeling top heavy. 'I can't wait to buy a whole new wardrobe,' she says. 'Before the op, I was starting to hate how I looked because I was having to buy size 14 tops just to cover my chest and I'd look more overweight than I was. 'I hated going out. I hate having pictures taken, which is part of my job, so it wasn't ideal. I was ready to go down a C cup. That's how desperate I was.' No devoted parents, Rhian and Oliver spent £150,000 on eight tough rounds of IVF and went through a traumatic birth, but says the arrival of George 'took all the pain away'. But recovery from the boob op was difficult because she couldn't lift her son and 'had to sleep sitting up for two weeks.' 'That was hard, because we co-sleep with George so I had to go in the spare room, and I just couldn't get comfortable. 'I still can't lie on my side because my boobs feel like inflatable balls.' As a new mum, she was also worried she wouldn't be able to breastfeed a second baby, should she get pregnant again - but was reassured by surgeons that everything is still in working order. But, while Oliver is keen to try for a sibling for George, Rhian jokes that she wants to 'enjoy my new boobs for a while first.' She is also keen to share her new look with her 500k fans - despite being trolled by many including one who started 'demanding his money back' and claiming she was making the 'worst mistake of my life.' But, brimming with confidence and beaming with health and happiness, Rhian is confident her loyal followers will like what they see. 'A lot of people were saying, 'You're going to ruin your career' but it's an overhaul and, if anything, I'm hoping it's gonna get better, because I'm new and improved. I've just had a refurb. 'People love a natural boob and I'm still natural. But whatever they think, I feel better in myself I'm confident to just be me.'

The naked truth about Page 3: Model Nicola Tappenden reveals 'shocking' wages, life-changing diagnosis at 41 and doomed relationship with Jeff Brazier

For years, Nicola Tappenden was one of Britain's most recognisable Page 3 models, beaming from tabloids and red carpets with effortless glamour. But behind the smiles and photo shoots, she carried a weight she couldn't explain - until a life-changing diagnosis at 41 finally made everything make sense. 'I spent my life feeling different,' Nicola tells MailOnline. 'Like I didn't fit in. Always asking myself, 'Why did I say that? Why did I do that?' That nagging feeling would follow her through fame and her relationships, including a disastrous romance with TV presenter Jeff Brazier. Twenty years earlier, before entering the world of glamour modelling, Nicola worked in compliance at Citibank and lived in Croydon with parents Tina and Steve. A light-hearted pub chat with friends about her 'great boobs' led to her entering The Sun's Page 3 Idol contest in 2002. She kept her progress in the competition a secret from work and when her manager found out, he jokingly confronted her. However, the company's HR wasn't so lighthearted and told her she'd boosted office morale, but her time at the bank was up. Soon after, Nicola won the contest with over 25,000 votes. The prize: a one-year contract with The Sun, red carpet invites, photoshoots, celebrity parties, and what was sold as a fast track to fame and fortune. She was 20, living at home with her parents in Croydon and working for a bank when her friends encouraged her to apply for the contest, which she won after attracting more than 25,000 votes from The Sun readers 'It was just a massive whirlwind,' Nicola recalls. Suddenly, at aged 20 Nicola was walking the red carpet and meeting A-listers at the premiere of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. The following day's paper would see Nicola posing in a barely-there dress with the headline: 'Good Lord, it's Nicola's 2 towers!'. 'One night I was at a premiere mixing with A-listers, the next morning I was having a bowl of cornflakes with my mum and dad,' she says. However, she would soon discover the promise of 'fortune' was underwhelming - £1,000 a month. 'I was earning more at the bank,' Nicola reveals. 'I got paid £1,000 a month and then £250 a day to attend events but that might be one day a week or one day a month.' Nicola also found the reality far less glamorous than it appeared. 'I think I did Page 3 for about five years altogether. 'It just isn't what you think it would be.' Despite the public attention, Nicola began to realise that behind the glossy images, her mental health was unravelling. She never felt good enough - not pretty enough, not smart enough and not worthy. She was also subject to a deeply unsettling experience. During a visit to Gibraltar to welcome home Royal Navy officers, Nicola found herself alone in a private room with a group of drunk, high-ranking men. They pressured her to expose herself. Intimidated and alone, she complied - then fled the room in tears. 'They just kept chanting. I eventually gave in - and I've never felt so ashamed.' Back in England, her agent reported the incident. She was sent flowers and an apology - she heard nothing more. 'I was young and vulnerable, and instead of being protected, I was exposed,' she says. Despite the challenges, Nicola became iconic in the Page 3 world. But inwardly, she struggled with relentless self-doubt. 'I never felt pretty enough. I would obsess over every photo. I just wanted to be liked.' She dated several high-profile men, including footballers Bobby Zamora and Simon Walton, who she welcomed daughter Poppy with. Bobby, she says, opened her eyes to a world beyond Croydon. 'He lived in a penthouse in Canary Wharf, and showed me a totally different kind of life. He was normal, funny, kind. I'm grateful to him for that.' She later dated Jeff Brazier, TV presenter and ex-partner of the late Jade Goody. Their relationship, Nicola says, was deeply unhealthy from the start. 'If I'd known then what I know now - about trauma, about myself - I never would have stayed. But I did, because I was desperate to be liked, to feel enough. 'There was a defining moment, and at that point, I should have said I'm never going to speak to you ever again.' Meanwhile, as the Page 3 culture shifted, Nicola became disillusioned. 'The early days of Page 3 when photographer Beverley Goodway was there were the best,' she says. 'He created this amazing culture and when the girls got together, we all loved to see each other. 'It changed when Beverley retired.' During a calendar shoot, Nicola clashed with another model over their unkind behaviour. To this day, she's unsure if she quit or was pushed out - but either way, she was done. She remains close to fellow ex-Page 3 girls Nikkala Stott and Keeley Hazell. 'We laugh all the time because they say I got sacked. If I got sacked, I didn't know about it. But I never went on Page 3 again,' she says. By then, Nicola had built a successful business, launched a fashion label, and went on to appear on reality TV shows, including WAGs Boutique and Celebrity Big Brother where she entered the house to boos. 'Coming out to cheers felt like people were finally seeing me for who I really was,' she says. But the turning point in Nicola's life came at the school gates. A fellow mum suggested Nicola might have ADHD after recognising the same symptoms her daughter had. At first, Nicola was stunned. She then received a professional diagnosis and cried for weeks. 'It was like someone had lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. I realised there was never anything 'wrong' with me, it was what was right with me. 'I grieved for that little girl who was constantly misunderstood. The girl who always felt like she was failing and never good enough.' The diagnosis reframed her life. It also gave her the tools to help her daughter, Poppy, who has also been diagnosed with ADHD. Determined to support other women like her, Nicola launched Noops, a supplement brand aimed at managing ADHD symptoms. She spent 18 months working with scientists to develop the gluten-free and vegan supplement designed to support brain health, energy, mood, focus and sleep. 'I didn't want more chemical medication. But the supplement market was overwhelming. So I created what I wished had existed,' says Nicola, who also runs digital consultancy, Belle Digital. Now 42, she lives a quieter life in Surrey with ex-footballer partner Simon - whom she reunited with 12 years after their split - and their daughter, Poppy, 16, as well as son Louis, five, who she had in another relationship. 'Simon and I found each other again and it's definitely where I'm meant to be.' Nicola no longer chases the limelight - she chases meaning. 'Celebrity life wasn't good for my mental health. It made me feel desperate, and I never want to feel like that again,' she says. View this post on Instagram A post shared by noops (@noopsnootropics) She dreams of launching a ADHD support network for women, to help others avoid the pain she endured silently for so long. And she has her sights set on taking Noops to America, as well as raising awareness about ADHD in girls. She explains: 'ADHD goes undiagnosed in girls because the traits are so different. In boys, we recognise the traits as being hyperactive and a naughty little boy, 'But little girls, it's so different. They are almost in a bubble, in a fairy bubble.' Today, Nicola isn't just a former model. She's a mother, a businesswoman, an ADHD advocate - and someone who has finally found peace in who she is. 'There were times I didn't want to be here anymore. But now I know - I was always worthy. I just needed to understand myself first.' WHAT IS ADHD? Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a behavioural condition defined by inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness. It affects around five per cent of children in the US. Some 3.6 per cent of boys and 0.85 per cent of girls suffer in the UK. Symptoms typically appear at an early age and become more noticeable as a child grows. These can also include: Constant fidgeting Poor concentration Excessive movement or talking Acting without thinking Inability to deal with stress Little or no sense of danger Careless mistakes Mood swings Forgetfulness Difficulty organising tasks Continually starting new tasks before finishing old ones Inability to listen or carry out instructions Most cases are diagnosed between six and 12 years old. Adults can also suffer, but there is less research into this. ADHD's exact cause is unclear but is thought to involve genetic mutations that affect a person's brain function and structure. Premature babies and those with epilepsy or brain damage are more at risk. ADHD is also linked to anxiety, depression, insomnia, Tourette's and epilepsy. There is no cure. A combination of medication and therapy is usually recommended to relieve symptoms and make day-to-day life easier.

Katie Price breaks silence on JJ Slater split rumours with very telling snap

Katie Price has taken to social media to break her silence after it was reported that she had split from her boyfriend, Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, earlier on in the week It looks like Katie Price has had enough of the rumours surrounding her love life, with the mum-of-five posting a telling statement on social media regarding her romance with JJ Slater. The update from Katie comes after friends claimed he'd moved out and they had called it quits. ‌ Earlier this week, reports emerged that Katie, 47, and Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, 31, had parted ways. Closer magazine claimed the couple had "gone their separate ways" with JJ allegedly having "packed his bags and moved out". ‌ However, Katie appears to have quashed these rumours by posting a picture featuring JJ prominently. Via her Instagram stories, Katie uploaded an image showing JJ positioned at a laptop. ‌ The reality TV star was captured during a photoshoot whilst having her hair and makeup applied. Seated at a table in the photograph was JJ. So it looks like the love story continues for Katie and JJ. The couple first became an item at the end of 2023, and following a turbulent whirlwind romance, but an insider earlier this week that alleged that Katie has grown 'bored' and that JJ has 'lost his sparkle'. ‌ "Katie and JJ have decided to go their separate ways, with JJ having already packed his bags and moved out. Ultimately, Katie's gotten bored. Friends and family had been warning JJ for a while that he'd lost his sparkle and that she treated him like a doormat," a source revealed to Closer. The insider went on to disclose that Katie 'isn't upset' about being single once more and has numerous options sliding into her DMs, even making quips to her mate where she compared men to handbags.
